@flashdance5 I know the wait feels like an eternity! It's totally normal to feel better around that time as the placenta takes over. I'm just having a rough time with this one 🙈

My morning sickness got much better in week 10 and by week 11 was completely gone. I just have food aversions and the extreme tiredness. I just turned 12 weeks today and had my dating scan 2 days ago and everything is absolutely fine with the baby. I know it’s really hard not to worry, I cried all the way to my dating scan because I had such bad anxiety even though I’d had a scan at 8 weeks 6 days and everything had been good. I think it’s totally normal to be so aware of what’s going on with your body and worried about any changes. I know for me I hated being sick/nauseous but it kind of reassured me that everything was still ticking along so I totally understand.

Has anyone had spotting and light bleeding more than once in first trimester but it's still turned out to be ok?? I had it early on and we had a private scan and all was well. I was only six weeks then. I'm now just on ten weeks and all weekend I've been spotting without it stopping and tiny stringy clots are appearing a couple of times. I've phoned my EPA but it's voicemail so now waiting for them to call me back. I'm just petrified, so sad and thinking that it just must be a MC. Would love to know if anyone has had similar but it turned out ok?

Hi All had my 12 week scan this morning measuring 13+2 so new due date of 9th March, any early guesses on what they could be ? :)

@Mailys I've had bleeding from 8 weeks - 11 weeks (seems I'm having a break at the moment 🙈). The forum is full of women experiencing the same and all was well! My bleeding has been pretty light and they never found a source, they think perhaps it's an atrophic cervix.

Have you had any cramping? Hopefully they get you in for a scan soon! X

@Mailys I’ve had the same experience as @LeopardLover spotting (brown discharge) from weeks 8-11.5 but also seem to be having a break from it. No issue found so they presume it’s an irritated cervix (I am taking progesterone pessaries) and have 12 week dating scan tomorrow.

@Thwam same gestation to me. I still don't have a date for my scan. Havnt even had a booking in appointment yet. My trust appears to be dragging it's feet my plan is to chase them again today.

@Mailys I've had some spotting at 8 weeks 9weeks and 10 weeks. On first name basis with EPAU now as also had severe hyperemeis at 9 weeks and I think I spent every day in there. If you don't hear back by early afternoon give them another ring. So stressful

@Mailys in my first pregnancy I had a very heavy bleed at 11 weeks pregnant that lasted two days, and I had another one the following week. They never figured out what caused it, but that baby is now a very healthy toddler, hope this can reassure you a bit! I remember how scared I was when it happened and how convinced I was that something awful had happened. Sending hugs!

I'm measuring 12+2 do my new due date is 19 March! The little nugget did not want to stay still or get into a good position during the scan 😅
Any early guesses?

NIPT came back today, everything looking good and am having a boy. Very surprised, had convinced myself it was a girl. Feels very real now!

Had my dating scan today, 13+2 due 9th March, IVF baby.

Loving all the scan pics, I’ve loved seeing them whilst willing the wait away for mine!

Thanks all for your encouraging messages. I've got a scan booked in for tomorrow at midday. I'm not feeling very hopeful now as it's not letting up at all and last time I was passing clots. Can't see it being OK. Just need this scan now so I know for sure.

I had my 12 week scan yesterday, measuring at 13+1, so due date will be March 10th! Any ideas on the gender?

Anyone nausea starting to mysteriously disappear 😅 I’m 10+3 today , I have a scan Friday and had a scan at 9 weeks but getting worried somethings wrong … although I hated the nausea … it was really reassuring

@Hopefulfirstround I'm 11+4 and my nausea started to fade at 10 weeks. Then it came back for a couple of days, and now it seems to have gone again! I think it's normal. I know there are lots of posts on mumsnet from women with terrible nausea that goes on much later than the first trimester, but I don't think that's the norm. You're bound to see more posts like that than from women where everything has settled down.
