Anyone else fe huge? I'm 13 weeks and feel like I need maternity clothes already. Last time I didn't show til 19 weeks!

@WAC1 yes I am - I have just been on Shein and ordered some dresses for work - I look 6 mths but am only 13.4 weeks - I actually look like I have swallowed a bowling ball 😂😂 x

@WAC1 I was just thinking this. I’m also starting to feel a lot of pressure in my body when I get up in the mornings. Laying in bed I feel normal, but I stand up and I feel the excess load I’m carrying immediately. I almost feel like I’ve got a bruised foof, bruised lower back, hips, so definitely must be getting bigger! I disperses after a few minutes, but it’s crazy!

@LeopardLover Did you get your screening results back yet? I got mine through yesterday and thankfully low rusk for both 😮‍💨

Hi all!
New member here and this is my first pregnancy. 11wks 4days. Due around 20th March. Morning sickness has gotten worse and I’ve had a headache for 4 days now. Blood pressure was on the low side of normal at 10wks 3days. Any one else have headaches and how are you coping?
(still waiting on 12week dating scan. Had a private scan complete with 8 pictures and a video. A gift from my sister and brother-in-law. )

@Caroline88Cici congratulations I think we have the same due date I have my dating scan on Thursday so might change then but from other scans it is the 20th aswell

It’s so exciting seeing everyone’s scan pictures! I’ve not had a scan yet and it sort of doesn’t feel real! (I’m only 10+3)

Just catching up as I’ve not been online for ages - I’ve pretty much just been either trying to get through work or vegging out! Taking my toddler out for the day today as she’s had a bit of a boring time with me lately!

Sounds like I’m feeling like a lot of others - extreme fatigue, nausea has decided to ramp up and awful stomach pains (from bloating?). I’m 11+3 today so was hoping I’d start feeling better by now - when pregnant my daughter I was on holiday around this time and spent most days walking miles!

I have my dating scan on Friday and a consultant appointment due to previous 3rd degree tear. I haven’t had any early scans so looking forward to it but feeling anxious too!

Hello new here! Is there anything we can do for the bloating?

Wondered if yoghurt or probiotics might help bring down the bloat, as that usually helps non pregnancy...?

I've had to bring out some 2 pound coins to bribe the kids into cleaning. I cant be bothered lol

@Caroline88Cici Congratulations!! 😍 Such a gorgeous photo. When is your dating scan? With my first I was 13 weeks I think! I've just been popping paracetamol to help with the headaches.

@Aquarius93 I'm so sick compared to last time! I've barely moved but my last pregnancy was a breeze until about 38 weeks 🙈 (apart from SPD). The weird stomach pains have eased off a bit too now I'm coming up to 14 weeks! Is your consultant appointment at the same time? I also had a third degree tear but like is supposed to be at 28 weeks!

@LavenderInTheField I don't think it's pregnancy safe due to the magnesium but that's only from what I've read. Might be worth asking a Pharmacist? I was desperate to take it myself a couple of weeks ago 🤣 probiotics is a good shout!

@BBno4 haha I love that your kids are old enough for this. I can't wait for the hungover feeling to leave!

@LeopardLover yes, they booked my consultant appointment for straight after my scan, I guess to save me having to go to the hospital twice! I’ll let you and @krissy12 know what they say! From speaking to the midwife it sounds like they’ll just talk through the options but wait and see how big baby is closer to the due date.

@Aquarius93 that's good the midwife said to me they would also talk through options but would likely be recommended a section but if I don't decide at this appointment because I'll only be about 16 weeks I would see a consultant again at 32 weeks and have to decide then

hello, not been on in a while. I’m 11 +2 and still not had my booking appointment. It’s scheduled for this week but making me worry how late on my scan might be. I’m really hoping I can get an appointment for next week but doubt it!

Have you had any response from the hospital you registered the pregnancy with?

Yeah I’ve spoken to my midwife a few times but the only appointment they could give me for booking was this week. I did say at the time that it’s quite close but they didn’t seem concerned. I even registered the pregnancy at 5 weeks.

I just want to have a date for the 12 week scan. With my first child I had my booking appointment at 7 weeks and it took about 2-3 to get a letter for the scan appointment.

Hey all, I’ve been lurking in the shadows but ready to say hello now!

I am 10+4 with first baby and a tad anxious since morning sickness symptoms have started to decline over the past 5 days or so (not suddenly) is this normal? I can see lots of people still suffering 12+ weeks so a little concerned but perhaps am just fortunate.

Got my dating scan on the 14th Sept but feels an age away and a long time since an early scan at 7+5 and am aware a lot can happen in these early weeks so trying to hope for the best.

@Hiddenvoice are you using badger notes? Only reason I ask when I had my booking appointment the scan appointment came through later that day on the app so very fast, it might be that you are able to still get an appointment quickly 🤞

Yeah I’ve still got it set up from my last little one so hopefully once the booking appointment is don’t then I can get an appointment quickly. I just want a little update on the baby but I also want to know so I can give my work as much notice as possible

Hope it’s ok for me to join. I’m 12 weeks pregnant (today) with my first baby. We had our dating scan on Friday and all looks good with a due date of 17th of March.

We aren’t going to find out the gender of the baby until they arrive but I have a feeling that it might be a girl.

Also I had such terrible nausea and vomiting, headaches etc but fortunately at 11 weeks it all eased off. The only thing I have now is the tiredness and food aversions are still quite strong.

@flashdance5 I’m 10+3 with my first pregnancy and my morning sickness is easing a bit too. I have my dating scan on the 14th as well and haven’t had a scan yet. I think everyone’s morning sickness is different so fingers crossed everything is okay 🤞🏼 Booking appointment next week will maybe make it all feel a bit more real!

@Thwam your same gestation as me and I also have dating scan on 14th 😬. This is my 4th.
