Hi
Just found out last night, am 4 wks and 4 days. Due on the 31st. Quite a surprise so still trying to take it in! Will be baby no4 for us. I'm 38 so interested to see others on here same age.

Hi, I could have wrote the same post as you! I'm 38, pregnant with a surprise 4th baby, and my due date is also 31st March from my LMP! But I suspect this date will be corrected to early April as I know when I conceived and it's 3 days later than 'expected'. How old is your youngest? Mine is 13 months so wasn't too long ago when I was pregnant last 😄

BraveHeart91 · 29/07/2023 08:10

Good’Morning everyone how’s everyone feeling?

im feeling super sicky and tired 😴 I genuinely feel like I’ve been pregnant forever 🤷🏻‍♀️😂.

FiddleLeaf · 29/07/2023 08:43

Thanks @FinallyMrsT. These final days before my scan are really dragging 😩 Woke up feeling normal again this morning. The symptoms are reassuring! 💜

HKS90 · 29/07/2023 09:39

@BraveHeart91 same! I can’t believe how much these early weeks are dragging. Trying to muster up some motivation to go to the shop, but I’m as tired as I would be at the end of the day normally! Hubby offered a bacon butty this morning but I couldn’t stomach it so just had to bitterly watch him enjoy his 😂

Khanga27 · 29/07/2023 11:55

So I had an early scan today privately and it's a suspected MMC.

Nmvasey85 · 29/07/2023 12:01

@Khanga27 I'm sorry to hear that, is there any hope? 🙏

Khanga27 · 29/07/2023 12:14

@Nmvasey85 doesn't sound like it. She said can never be 100% at this stage and she will refer me to early pregnancy unit at my hospital first thing Monday morning (as not open weekends). Said the yolk sac etc is right size but the embryo is a negligible size and hasn't developed and has no heartbeat.

krissy12 · 29/07/2023 12:22

@Khanga27 so sorry to hear this I had a mmc in feb if there is anything you want to ask when you feel ready

So many similarities! 😄. Our youngest is 15 months so also similar! Feeling symptoms now, just so hoping nausea etc isn't too bad thru these holidays.

If I go by date of conception (I'm sure I know the date), it puts me at 25th March. Not sure which is more accurate?
So many positive things to having a small gap, including still really being in the way of babies so it's not such a shock! Really am getting so excited now and can't stop thinking about having another newborn!

Hi all,

First time mum here! I had a private early dating scan this morning. Based on LMP I would be 9 weeks today but they dated me at 8 weeks, which I'm not too surprised about as my cycles aren't regular and I suspected I ovulated late! Due date 9th March 😊

They did say I had a subchorionic haematoma which I'm slightly worried about but from researching they seem quite common!? I've got my booking appointment with my midwife on Monday so I'll mention it to her then.

Symptoms wise, I've been experiencing mild nausea since 5 weeks but it has gradually got worse over the last week, vivid dreams and sore boobs!

Khanga27 · 29/07/2023 14:14

Thanks @Nmvasey85 @krissy12 @Busylizzie85 @J2023xx @FinallyMrsT . I just feel quite numb but also wary that the worst is yet to come due to nothing happening to give obvious signs up to the scan.

Hiddenvoice · 29/07/2023 14:28

@Khanga27 I’m so sorry to hear this, hope you’re okay!

Aquarius93 · 29/07/2023 14:42

@Khanga27 so sorry to hear this ❤️

MotheringDaughters · 29/07/2023 20:28

@Khanga27 so sorry about your devastating news 💔

Wotchaz · 29/07/2023 20:31

So sorry @Khanga27 xx

MotheringDaughters · 29/07/2023 20:43

@Mailys Aah, very similar ages 😃 I'm so glad we didn't get rid of the jumperoo and baby bouncer as my partner wanted rid because we wasn't planning another 🙊 but I just couldn't let them go 'in case' we did go on to have another! I'm actually feeling really apprehensive about how I'm going to cope with a toddler during pregnancy because I suffer badly with pelvic girdle pain from around 16 weeks onwards 😩

Hopefulfirstround · 30/07/2023 09:15

Due in Late March also ! X2 miscarriages since January so hopefully this one is a sticky one , this will be my first baby after TTC for 2 years and one failed IVF round , the whole thing is a bit traumatising , I’ve been taking daily pregnancy tests 🫠 anyone else have that level of crazy ?

I haven't suffered a loss before but this whole thing is making me extremely anxious, I take tests nearly everyday. I'm due 3rd March and I have booked a private scan for next Sunday . Ive been reading way too much about MMC and it's making me so anxious, I'll be 12 weeks on 17th Aug and I can't wait to get to that point

vix_85 · 30/07/2023 10:58

So sorry @Khanga27 to hear your news. Be kind to yourself x

Hopefulfirstround · 30/07/2023 11:21

@sophieliz it can be so hard to stay calm , I got a better BFP this morning , almost a dye stealer so I’m a little more calm.

@Khanga27 im so so so sorry , I hope you have a good support circle around you

Khanga27 · 30/07/2023 11:26

@Hopefulfirstround @vix85 @Hiddenvoice @Wotchaz @MotheringDaughters @Aquarius93 thanks all for the kind comments.

There's still a small part of me clinging to the private sonographer saying they can't be 100%, but the gestational sac is a week behind at 23mm and the embryo at 2mm when should be around 15mm by now just sounds pretty final. I'm just dreading the next couple of weeks and how long things will take to confirm and be over, rather than being in limbo.

It's just my mum and my partners parents that know, and we are supporting each other. I haven't felt ready to tell anyone else.

AskAgathaIfSheWantsACupOfTea · 30/07/2023 12:38

big hugs @Khanga27 x
