Joining from the other thread. Not adding my due date yet though because my LMP is feb 14th. By early scan it’s Feb 8th so going to wait for my dating scan which isn’t until August 8th!

@Meeting i did suffer with it, and still do a little sometimes. I upped my fibre intake and ate as much fruit/veg and I also have a glass of pure orange juice each morning now.
I did contact my midwife and she had told me I can use lactulose if need be, I also contacted my doctor and they prescribed me lactulose for it too

@xTinkerbell know exactly what you mean by lmp should be due 12th February, but when I went for my scan on Monday at the RMC they put me to the 18th of February.. so haven't bothered changing my due date on the list, will do when I have my 12 week scan if it's any different lol

Has anyone had any nausea when it comes to smells? I used to smoke, but since finding out I’ve quit completely. My partners dad smokes though quite a bit, and even in the house. This is one thing that’s getting to me but I can’t do much about it.
currently looking for our own place, but this will take a little while I think now

I hope I’ve done this right - what a busy month! I’ve been quiet on these threads as I am quite anxious but I’m now 6w2d and feeling crappy so at least ‘feel’ more pregnant!

I was wondering if any of you have noticed a decrease in symptoms recently? I'm now 8+6 and I haven't had any symptoms for 3 days. Previously I had about a week of mild nausea (when hungry) and just being totally wiped out exhausted. But now nothing and it's concerning me that something is wrong. I have an early scan booked for Tuesday evening but that seems an eternity away still. Wondering if anyone else experiencing the same? At this stage I expected it still to be getting worse.

@Danni33 I had this with my first. Certain smells would trigger my nausea terribly. One of them being my ex husband hahaha. His aftershave would make me feel sooo sick! That and the air wick plug in air freshener. I still to this day hate them smells! 😂
So far with this pregnancy it's just when I'm cooking dinner, but I'm fully expecting it to get worse!

@LavenderSweetPea mine came and went earlier on. Seven weeks they seemed to plateau, and I was worried enough to get an early private scan. Are your dates right on the list? It could be placenta starting to take over from 9 weeks

@LavenderSweetPea I mentioned on the last thread that I had this. I'm 10w4d and probably haven't had any noticeable symptoms since about halfway through week 8. I was getting really worried that something had gone wrong so I booked a private scan and everything is perfect. I think I'm just lucky in terms of having quite an easy 1st trimester so far!

Maybe book a private scan if it'll put your mind at ease? I'm sure it's nothing to worry about though

Also, I'm a few days behind so thought I'd add myself! I'll be joining the Facebook group next week once we've announced our news just in case.

Thanks @acm1996 that's made me feel loads better. I'll be honest I'm just so worried, I did book a private scan for Tuesday to find out one way or the other but it sounds like there could well be hope! Fingers crossed I'm just the same as you :)

@LavenderSweetPea honestly I felt so silly afterwards but you get so wrapped up in it don't you!

I've only had minimal symptoms since I found out in May so when those faded it was so scary but little one is perfect in there and was actually measuring a day later than we thought! So they put me at 31st Jan rather than 1st Feb but I'll be going with 1st until my dating scan.

@acm1996 I had a scan at 7 weeks (owing to previous ectopic) where they gave me a date a few days earlier than I thought, but I think at this stage every thing changes so quick day by day it's easy to be a couple of days out. I'll let you know what happens on Tuesday. Do you have a date for your 12 week scan?

I have my booking appointment tomorrow morning but no I don't have a date for my scan yet. I think I've been left quite late in terms of NHS appointments compared to others I've seen. Hopefully they can give me a date soon 🤞 we have another private scan booked for Friday as we plan on telling all of our friends and family on Saturday and wanted to be 100% as I'm a worrier haha!

@acm1996 that is late! My booking in appointment is tomorrow as well. I'm sure they'll get you a scan date sorted at the appointment. Good luck for your scan on Friday as well, certainly no harm in getting another check is there :)

6+6 today and just come down with norovirus, also looking after my existing baby…this pregnancy is nothing like the first 😂 can’t believe how much time I had in my first pregnancy to just nap and chill 😭

Private scan today and we now have a tiny fetus of 0.3mm

Still no heart beat but this is progress from no yolk last week to a yolk on Wednesday and now today a tiny fetus.

Measuring 5w 6d (which is impossible as I got my BFP on the 14th)

But still tentatively hopeful.

Scan tomorrow morning at 6.5 I’m absolutely petrified no more spotting since last weekend but I’m so so worried x

I have a lot of stretching type pains this evening, first bit of pain I’ve had at all, makes me feel so nervous, anyone else similar? Exactly 8 weeks, this is the point my last pregnancy stopped growing so I think that’s prob not helping my anxiety

Hi @DmcinT yes I've had stretchy pains on and off throughout this pregnancy so far (11 weeks now). Hoping it just means that space is being made in there.

When is your next scan booked for? Have they taken any for their bloods?

I have a scan at epu tomorrow at 1:30 after my scan last Monday showed gestational and yolk sac but nothing else….. HCG levels doubled monday-Wednesday so just trying to think positive thoughts. Also got +3 on clear blue this weekend finally!
