Hi ladies just found this new thread hope it's OK to join!

I'm around 10 weeks, due first week in February.
I have a little boy who will be 2 in December. We had a thread for our babies when he was born and then a Facebook group which I still use regularly it's like my lifeline for Mum help lol. Would be lovely to have a group for our February baby too 💕

Currently feeling sick all day every day bit luckily not being sick! I'm completely exhausted and suffering with terrible headaches.

Counting down the days to our 12 week scan 🤞💕

Hankthehonk · 09/07/2023 19:42

@GeriatricMumma brilliant to see a positive update! You've done so well hanging in there the days must have felt so long.

I am 7 weeks today, the fatigue has really ramped up all week and today (this evening specifically) nausea has got a lot worse. I was just actually sick for the first time and feel like I have a hangover from hell!
Does anyone else have particularly bad symptoms in the evenings? For me it's between 6pm-8.30pm every day

sherbertlemon17 · 09/07/2023 19:49

@GeriatricMumma thats incredible news! I bet you’re so pleased! Keeping my fingers crossed that it keeps going in the right direction 🤞🏻

@DmcinT looks of stretching here too. I wouldn’t describe it as painful though, more like when you poke a bruise 😅

DmcinT · 09/07/2023 19:52

@HopeAndStrength I had nothing in this pregnancy so far but I had a lot in my last one (triplets) so I’d say my ligaments are just loose and it just took a while to get to a stage where it was actually stretching again. Hard to not overthink all the twinges

@Sparkles512 there is quite an active Facebook group for feb due date, anyone got the link to share it?

@Hankthehonk absolutely in the evenings I feel so much worse, think tiredness adds to it too. Ur dead right it’s like a hangover but without the fun night out 😅 did getting sick even relieve ur sickness for a bit?

Thewildthingsarewithme · 09/07/2023 19:57

Would someone mind adding me to the list please, I’m not sure how to do it! Thank you!

Hankthehonk · 09/07/2023 20:03

@DmcinT Yes definitely think it's tiredness too. Thankfully my husband has more time over the summer (he's a self employed musician and about half his regular work is teaching so he's off for the holidays) so he's been able to be the one making dinner every night and he's doing almost all bedtimes with our toddler so I can rest when I'm feeling like this in the evenings. The nights he has gigs are awful but I just have to keep parenting....again a bit like doing it hungover.
Being sick helped for about 5 minutes 🤢

Bababybell · 09/07/2023 20:22

Hi everyone I have been reading this thread for a few weeks and thought I would finally join. I’m 9 weeks and due Feb 7th with my second. My daughter is 2 this week. I’ve had nausea mostly in the evenings but it can hit anytime of the day. Ive completely gone off coffee and pretty much only want to eat toast and ice lolllies! I’ve not got my scan appointment yet but I have had my midwife appointment. I feel a little in limbo until I’ve had the scan and results from the screening.

LalalaBubs · 09/07/2023 20:32

Hi everyone, here from the 1st thread 😊

Feeling more and more anxious over the past few days as many of my symptoms are disappearing. All that's left is the exhaustion- but no nausea, sore boobs etc any more.

I'm 9+2, so not sure if thats too early for the placenta to be taking over?

This is baby no.3 for me so I thought I'd habe less anxiety this time round but nope😭

Clomid1 · 09/07/2023 22:20

@Bababybell I completely agree. I also feel in limbo without having a scan and screening tests. When is your scan? Mine is 8th August

mashm24 · 09/07/2023 22:34

Is anybody else just gagging and heaving at everything? I'm not feeling overly nauseas but I will just randomly gag at everything. Does this ease at all as the weeks go on?

user1471460621 · 10/07/2023 04:34

LavenderSweetPea · 08/07/2023 23:43

I was wondering if any of you have noticed a decrease in symptoms recently? I'm now 8+6 and I haven't had any symptoms for 3 days. Previously I had about a week of mild nausea (when hungry) and just being totally wiped out exhausted. But now nothing and it's concerning me that something is wrong. I have an early scan booked for Tuesday evening but that seems an eternity away still. Wondering if anyone else experiencing the same? At this stage I expected it still to be getting worse.

Yes! I’ve gone from really bad extreme symptoms to nothing over night I was convinced we’d lost another baby but went for a scan and everything is fine x

C1E · 10/07/2023 06:27

Can someone reassure me that my boobs will stop growing soon 😂 I’ve always had very little, and now it feels like they’re growing exponentially every hour 😂😂

DmcinT · 10/07/2023 06:57

@mashm24 the heaving and retching is awful and makes it very hard to hide from ppl, I was out for a walk with a friend yesterday and couldn’t stop, by the second/third time she said ‘are u sure ur it pregnant’ I just kinda laughed it off but I think once ppl see that they know for sure.

@C1E 😂😂 right there with u, I’ve already gone up a bra size and I am busting out of them again🙈 I assume all of these things ease after 12 week, does anyone know?

I’m lyin awake the last hr fighting with myself to sleep😩 the insomnia is killing me

Mummapenguin20 · 10/07/2023 07:21

Ladies suffering with expanding boobs sports bras are your best friend x

Meeting · 10/07/2023 07:21

@C1E I would like to know the same! I've gone from an A cup to a very full C and I'm terrified they'll grow more!

catemck · 10/07/2023 08:27

Boobs will keep growing...Mine last time went from a DD cup to a G! Confused Dreading what size I'll be this time around haha. Sports bras are best for comfort, or as your bump grows anything non wired I found helped. Also I found as well as getting larger cup sizes, go up a size on the back too :)

xTinkerbell · 10/07/2023 09:52

Pre kids I was a B, 2 babies later and I’m now a DD. Terrified of what I’ll be once this one is born

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 10/07/2023 09:53

Oh god mine did get big, but after breastfeeding for a year, they're now smaller 😩 they haven't changed at all this pregnancy I don't think and aren't sore. If I breastfeed again I dread to think how small they'll be

mashm24 · 10/07/2023 10:05

I went from an F cup to an H cup last pregnancy. Genuinely considering a reduction after this pregnancy!! Nightmare.

Meeting · 10/07/2023 10:07

Those who had had previous children, did your boobs go back down after or are they still the same size?

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 10/07/2023 10:14

@Meeting I was a 32 DD before. They went up to a 36 E, stayed like that for breastfeeding, now back down to a 32 DD. And they've stayed like this even tho I'm 9 weeks no. I think it's the shape that makes them seem smaller - not as perky as they were

User0224 · 10/07/2023 10:23

Meeting · 10/07/2023 10:07

It totally varies. I’m the opposite to the women above - started as a plump D cup, after breastfeeding for 9 months I’ve been left with a B at most and it’s basically just loose skin there, I’ve lost all the volume.

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 10/07/2023 10:25

@User0224 do you mind if I ask how long it's been since you stopped breastfeeding? I stopped five months ago now and still the volume at the top of the breast hasn't come back. I think I read something about it takes a year to regain it

I stopped in Feb so about the same time! No signs of life yet though 😂 I don’t think mine will come back tbh

catemck · 10/07/2023 10:26

@Meeting mine went down to an F cup once I finished with breastfeeding, but could never get back to a dd cup, despite getting back to pre baby weight. I have friends however who's boobs are now smaller than before, so I think each person is different. I've had to say goodbye to so many nice bras/tops/dresses because of this! 😩 the joys ey
