@Hummusanddipdip they must have changed it again cause I def couldn’t have raw with my DD who is 2!

@buckingmad oh err, crazy that they reverted it and then went back again, I remember my midwife asking me at booking it how I took my eggs as they had changed legislation that week, so I could have lion stamped eggs however I wanted... tbh I can't stand raw egg and bar egg and soldiers I'm not having a runny yolk 🤣

Yeah you can def eat eggs runny if they're stamped, I think most of the ones you get in the uk have to be stamped don't they? It's a bit like pasteurised cheese, it's basically all pasteurised!!

@suz2285 im not in uk and I've no idea do they stamp their eggs here or not. I just know i have to have my 2 fried eggs every morning 😂

The lion stamped eggs thing was in place before I had my youngest who is 5.5yrs. It was prior to being pregnant with him, I think 2015 or 2016.

Hey everyone!

First time poster - due Jan 1st!! I'm an anxious ball of nerves honestly but so excited to meet my lil one.

Is anyone else still feeling a bit nervous pr anxious even after their 12 week scan? I thought I would feel more relaxed and I did for about a week but now I'm back to panicking something is wrong!!! Not sure if this horrid cold I'm suffering with is making my emotions even worse 🤧🤧🤧

The anxiety is horrendous I swear! I wake up every day convinced something is wrong!

Thank you so much for all of you that have replied, definitely feel much worse this evening but forcing myself to eat and drink even though I really don't want to! I am just hoping and praying baby is okay 🥺

@FirstT1meMum omg yes, the anxiety is horrendous. Had my scan 1 week ago saw baby heart beating and baby moving around etc and i was fine for a few days but since the weekend I'm waking up everyday thinking is baby still there, is it still ok? I'm scared of my next scan incase something has gone wrong since 😫 its such a horrible feeling. I dont remember feeling like this with my other pregnancies but they were a long time ago so maybe I just forgot all the anxiety and stress.

Not sure if it's been said before. But have been struggling with piles...found that germoline is an over the counter treatment suitable during pregnancy.

@FirstT1meMum yes the anxiety is real! And it seems like such a long time between scans for any reassurance. Really hoping we start to feel some movement soon as I think that might help. But then I'm sure there will be something else!

Welcome @LydiaWalker93! How exciting that your due date is New Year's Day, mine is 2nd Jan so just behind you 😊

For anyone in the poor sleep club and struggling to drop off, I saw my acupuncturist today who said that eating kiwi fruit before bed can help bring on the sleepiness. No idea if it works but I'm willing to give it a try!

And apparently for those waking up during the night feeling starving, if you eat a protein based snack before bed that can also help. So perhaps a piece of cheese or hard boiled egg. Random but again maybe worth a shot 🤷🏼‍♀️

@FirstT1meMum yes still anxious over here! 🙋‍♀️ Even more so now we've told everyone, I keep thinking what if baby isn't in there anymore and we've told everyone we're expecting??! Pregnancy hormones are wild, logically I know I'm being daft but still can't shake it. I'd have a scan every week if I could!

Talking of cravings, I’ve woken up desperately wanting a plate of veggie sushi 🤣

Now that sounds like a great craving! I'll join you on tucking into some. I actually love Asda's vegan sushi at thier sushi bar

@Kalodin It’s a complete obsession right now! I just trawl round all the supermarkets trying out all their versions and pitting them against one another 😂 Tesco have done a partnership with Yo Sushi and theirs is VERY good!
