@PunCana were your symptoms really strong before now?? I think I would do the same, if not you’re just going to spend the next few weeks in a total panic!

Not that strong, no. Symtoms didn't really start until 6 weeks, then were mild (apart from my raging mood and full boobs - one which my partner loved and one which he hated lol).

Defo going for a private scan next week - managed to convince my partner!

moosey89 · 27/06/2023 09:14

Last night I had the tiniest bit of pink tinged mucus and I'm now panicking - that was the only thing I had before my missed miscarriage last time. Thursday's scan can't come soon enough to (hopefully) tell me it isn't that 😞

suz2285 · 27/06/2023 11:00

@moosey89 apparently quite common at 8 and 12 weeks as this is when you'd normally have a period... I also feel like my uterus is growing much quicker now lots of twinges and cramps again but when I looked week 9 the baby is like smaller than an olive and by week 12 it's a plum so that's quite a lot of growth, placenta is joining and all sorts so yeah... hopefully all ok

The cramping and nausea is making me worried here too tho!! Eugh the waiting sucks xx

moosey89 · 27/06/2023 11:06

@suz2285 thanks for the reassurance - I'm also worried because I've not felt sick really at all! Just feels like I should be feeling at least a little nauseous?? the waiting is terrible, the things we go through!

suz2285 · 27/06/2023 11:43

@moosey89 some people just don't feel sick, tbh mine seems mild compared to others and everyone is different, its so hard to compare! Have you had any scans at all yet?

moosey89 · 27/06/2023 11:59

@suz2285 you're so right, it's so hard not to compare. My boobs feel like they've been repeatedly punched today 😂so I'm not totally symptom free but still every little thing makes me worried.

@tulipsunday hope everything goes/has gone ok today x

Brokenpancreas94 · 27/06/2023 12:22

@moosey89 with my daughter I didn't feel sick at all! Nor really tired!
My MC pregnancy I had terrible nausea and was sick a couple of times! This time around it's not toooo bad, haven't vomited luckily! Just so tired! Every pregnancy is different...which is kind of annoying because you don't know what to expect kind of thing so then you think it's something bad when you don't have a certain symptom!

Eugh proposed school strikes on 5th and 7th...5th is my scan date so hoping daughter is at school otherwise I'm at my scan on my own!

Brokenpancreas94 · 27/06/2023 12:22

Good luck today @tulipsunday xx

tulipsunday · 27/06/2023 12:28

Thanks girls all went well at scan phew. Due date one day sooner so 07.01 😊

@moosey89 I only had minor symptoms with my son and all was well. I know so hard not to worry though.

@Brokenpancreas94 hope you can have your partner with you at scan x

Hi all, hope it's okay to join. Really happy to have found this thread.

I'm currently 7+1 after having my second miscarriage on Easter Sunday. I didn't have a period in-between and was dated last week by a scan. I'm just trying to take every day as it comes at the minute.

This time definitely feels different as I've got really strong nausea and fatigue which I haven't had before. I've got another scan next week at 8+4 so just trying to make it to that goal post at the minute x

WitcheryDivine · 27/06/2023 12:42

Great news on the scan, bet you feel better!

moosey89 · 27/06/2023 12:42

Yay good news @tulipsunday ! Glad it all went well.

@Brokenpancreas94 yeah it's really hard to know (actually, impossible to know!) if everything is ok or not, which is where I really struggle. I'm used to making my own luck so to speak, but with pregnancy you can't do that. You just have to sit tight and ride it out. Not my forte! 😖Hope your partner can come to your scan x

suz2285 · 27/06/2023 12:48

@Meeting welcome! How are you feeling?

@tulipsunday yey! That's great news about the scan!

@moosey89 that's my issue too, I like to be in control and research and know everything that's going on and with pregnancy you just aren't in any sort of control! 😂 I also like to look up everything so probably reading papers on Nt measurements and outcomes doesn't help my anxiety!

@Brokenpancreas94 typical isn't it! Hopefully your partner can go! Is there anyone else who can babysit?

Meeting · 27/06/2023 13:21

@suz2285 hi and thanks for asking. Not feeling great at the minute as I'm having a lot of nausea and constantly having to snack to keep it at bay, but can't stomach an actual meal!

suz2285 · 27/06/2023 13:39

@Meeting yeah that sounds familiar, definitely just keep grazing! I've been the same, hard to eat big meals but can manage snacks!

tulipsunday · 27/06/2023 13:53

Welcome @Meeting. Always thinking about my next snack too 😊

Thx for your messages about scan - will keep everything crossed for those with scans coming ups as know there are a few on the horizon.

That's great news @tulipsunday .

Ive just had a tiny bit of dark brown after wiping, trying not to worry as I had this a couple of times a few weeks ago and have seen a baby and a heartbeat since then. Hips have randomly started hurting again the last couple of days for the first time in weeks, wonder if my uterus is starting to stretch a bit more and it's just caused some irritation or something 🤔

Brokenpancreas94 · 27/06/2023 14:44

@tulipsunday aww that's brilliant news! So happy for you!! ❤️

Sister in law might be able to have her possibly and maybe one of her school friends, just have to see! School haven't announced anything yet though! Xx

suz2285 · 27/06/2023 15:41

@WhiteHorse92 I'm sure I'm stretching too I'm crampy this last few days, and keep getting pulling pains, my hips are still rubbish feels like they're on elastic bands 😂

Brokenpancreas94 · 27/06/2023 17:09

@suz2285 I literally went to get up from the sofa last night and had a pain in my belly, defo stretching 😂

Had my booking app, couldn't get blood out of me 😂I never play ball 😂 so they are going to do them after my scan next week!

16 week appointment with midwife is booked in too!

WitcheryDivine · 27/06/2023 18:17

I've had some quite sharp but not bad pains the last few days too (and some of the more regular low achey twinges), I'm 13 weeks tomorrow so hoping it is normal at this stage?

Brokenpancreas94 · 27/06/2023 18:18

@WitcheryDivine yeah it's normal it's your body stretching! I ached loadsss around that point with my daughter, it never really ended 😂 because I just got bigger and bigger and then I had polyhydramnios!

tulipsunday · 27/06/2023 18:25

I am always achey. Feel like an old woman 😂 hope the next bloods go better @Brokenpancreas94

Hopefully as a tiny bit of bloodand dark brown will be nothing to worry about @WhiteHorse92
