@TheBirdintheCave I'm glad your 7 week scan went well ❤️❤️❤️ onwards and upwards!

I've booked my covid jab for next week, am awaiting availability of the flu jab and will book that in as soon as I can.

Anyone else feel simultaneously bloated and nauseous but starving hungry all at the same time?! I can't keep up with what my stomach wants 😅🤦‍♀️🙈

@KsMumma my baby didn't move much at the 12 week scan either, he kept making subtle movements they said or would curl up. Hope all goes well for you xx

@SparkleFly I've just eaten dinner and I am still starving 😭

We had our last follow up 3D scan last night and baby's legs were over his face this time 😂 honestly! Anyway he's getting big... estimate was 1lb 11oz which is just higher than average for this gestation and his cheeks are starting to fill out! He was noticeably bigger than a few weeks ago!
Crazy...

That'll be our last scan unless I need growth or presentation scan or anything later on! Feels like the weeks are flying in now 😂

@SparkleFly @suz2285 & @tulipsunday Thank you all for your reassurance yesterday. Had a scan at the EPU and there was one wriggly baby with a strong heart beat and no signs for concern.

Am so relieved to hear that @KsMumma I was worried for you, but didn't have advice to share. At least you can relax now!

@SparkleFly possibly tmi but likely a ruptured polyp or sensitive cervical bleeding bought on by constipation and what goes with that (mildly embarrassing but hey isn’t that the case with pregnancy- moving from one embarrassing stage to another!)

Hi can I join this thread please? Currently 5 weeks pregnant after 2 miscarriages. Iv just had a tiny brown show when I wiped. Iv been having some stretching pains before, hoping to god it's just from that. Totally freaking out though but trying to stay calm x

@My2boysaremyworld Hi, good to have you here.

I completely understand how worried you must be. Generally speaking a small brown show would indicate old blood and at 5 weeks likely from implantation bleeding so most likely nothing to worry about. But I do completely get the anxiety any type of show causes.

If you are worried please call your local Early Pregnancy Unit they are there solely to check you are ok and provide reassurance at what is a scary time for everyone (I’m 13 weeks and have already been in twice this pregnancy and they have been amazing)

@KsMumma thank you, had nothing since. Iv dreaded every toilet trip and hate when there is something there. Hoping I get no more xx

@My2boysaremyworld welcome, sorry to hear about your situation, the anxiety absolutely sucks. Like @KsMumma says a small amount of brown is not generally an issue but it's such a scary time in early pregnancy, I went to EPU with a some brown bleeding about 6.5 weeks with this pregnancy and there was no issue it must've been old blood making it's way out or cervical irritation, it's terrifying though esp straight after previous miscarriages

Hopefully there is no more which is another good sign 🤞 but it's that horrible feeling of worrying going to the bathroom every time

Hi ladies so had a very stressful anxious day yesterday. I woke up to blood! Completely freaked out. Rang EPU who said to monitor it and booked me in for a scan on Monday morning. I had no more bleeding but then starting getting pain in my right shoulder and weakness in my arm. Rang up EPU and was told to come up. Saw a lovely doctor who listened to me and asked loads of questions. He did the internal exam on me. He then said it's not a miscarriage. I completely broke down. He said the neck of my womb has got a bleed. My cervix is completely closed. I could bleed again and probably all through it. So I came out feeling positive agsin and in shock. I'd calmed down then I felt something come out of me. Went the toilet and there was loads more blood completely freaked out agsin. Went to bed and prayed it would stop. Iv had nothing since but im so anxious to go to the toilet. I constantly feel like Iv got stuff coming out of me. I'm a mess but trying to distract myself. I feel achey below my belly too xx

@My2boysaremyworld that must be so stressful so so sorry you are going through that. Have EPU given an indication as to what to expect/what to do if you continue bleeding?

@tulipsunday I rang them back up today because I started bleeding again. The nurse said yes it's normal to bleed on and off. My anxiety can't deal with it. I'm a mess. Just praying we see a heartbeat tomorrow x

I think I’m looking for someone to tell me to stop being an anxious Annie.

I had a missed miscarriage in the summer and I’m now 7 weeks pregnant. I’ve had a scan where I saw a heartbeat and I’ve been prescribed progesterone to ease my worries but I just feel so down.

I have no pregnancy symptoms at all, where as last time I did have a few.

I just keeping thinking, the only way I can be sure things are ok is if I have a scan every day, which is absolutely not possible, so I feel like I’m just waiting to be told I’ve had another miscarriage because I don’t trust my bod to send me any signs itself.

i’m not sure what I wrote actually makes sense but I can’t shift this awful impending doom feeling. Will it ever go?
