Thanks @ThomasinaLivesHere that is helpful, may just be that the placenta is taking over then. Although feeling nauseas again this morning, so worrying over nothing!

youaremysunshine03 · 18/06/2023 08:30

My sickness comes and goes, I went almost a week without being sick then the last two days I’ve vomited both evenings (I’m 10 weeks).

I always seem to have some mild nausea and I’m pretty tired most of the day too. I just want to have more energy so I can at least go for more walks and maybe run/do a bit of exercise! Getting quite frustrated now that I haven’t been able to move much 😣

Matildahoney · 18/06/2023 08:43

I've noticed today my boobs feel firmer in places they don't usually, is this normal? It's my right one which hurts more & I keep getting stabbing pains in, or is this something to worry about? I'm 11+4

sashastuck · 18/06/2023 08:47

Just threw up a bit brushing my tongue, really struggling with that the past couple days 😭 regarding previous comments I do think it’s totally normal for symptoms to taper off around 10 weeks. I think if this thread has shown us anything, it’s that no 2 ladies/pregnancies are the same!! X

What is your stance on doing something cute for expecting fathers on Fathers Day? I got DP this little hanging ornament that says “daddy and bump’s first father’s day” that has the scan picture in the middle. But now I’m wondering if it’s a bit cringe 😂 hope he likes it lol!

sashastuck · 18/06/2023 08:47

@Matildahoney yep I’m also 11+4 and yesterday part of my left boob felt really hard and weird, normally it’s my right that hurts more!

Misspotterscat · 18/06/2023 08:51

I’ve not managed to post on this thread yet, or catch up, so I apologise.

I’ve woken up with spotting this morning at 8+1. Feel like my symptoms have been less these past few days and now I am completely freaking out. This pregnancy happened straight after a loss in April and I’ve been so scared it will happen again.

I have booked a private scan for later today because I can’t just sit and wonder what’s going on.

Matildahoney · 18/06/2023 08:53

@sashastuck thanks!
I hope it eases off soon for you, I can't brush my tongue, makes me gag really badly!
Re father's day, our loss last time was around 11 weeks so I felt it was too early to do anything, plus he doesn't even like receiving birthday cards so absolutely no point 🙄

sashastuck · 18/06/2023 09:04

@Misspotterscat best of luck for your scan later ❤️

Matildahoney · 18/06/2023 09:11

Good luck @Misspotterscat

Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese · 18/06/2023 09:30

Good luck for later @Misspotterscat I hope you see a happy little bean

FirstT1meMum · 18/06/2023 10:22

@Mummyme87 thank you! I think it was a combination of both really. Thinking I might invest in something different I've seen for when I'm past 12 weeks so I'm not worried about hurting little one.

@Misspotterscat hope all goes well, thinking of you ❤️

Muriel84 · 18/06/2023 10:26

@ThomasinaLivesHere @Luhou @LittleAlien24 thanks ladies ❤️ feeling a bit better today and bleeding has slowed right down. 🤞🤞

@Misspotterscat good luck for your scan. I’ve spotted throughout and had a heavy bleed Friday with awful pain and was scanned straight away and pregnancy is apparently fine. I’ve had two losses and this pregnancy is really putting me through it I was sure I’d miscarried Friday. I’m 8+4 x x x

LittleAlien24 · 18/06/2023 10:37

@Morematchaplease hi and welcome
@sashastuck would like to do something for father's day but unfortunately we in different countries 😔
@Misspotterscat all the best for your scan later
@Muriel84 that's good to hear, just take it easy

ThomasinaLivesHere · 18/06/2023 13:22

@sashastuck I think that’s sweet. I was in hospital and overdue on Father’s Day with my first so thought I might be able to get something for Father’s Day that year (if I had energy) but baby came days later.

@Misspotterscat Best of luck for scan!

MumToBeInSpain · 18/06/2023 17:40

Hi All,

I'm new here. First of all congratulations to you all 🎉

I'm 10 weeks +5 with my first, the midwife has predicted our due date to 11 Jan 2024. I'm currently living in Spain and will more than likely be giving birth here.

The only symptoms I've been experiencing is nausea daily but dry crackers and also a squeeze of lime in water seem to subside this feeling. I'm also feeling extremely tired but I think this might be the heat, I've started taking siestas like a local to combat the tiredness!

We have our first scan booked for 30th June, I'm so excited. Has anyone else had their scan or got it booked?

lucya66 · 18/06/2023 17:41

@Fi2788 so sorry for your loss xx

Hiya, my scan is on 29th, and I'm due 12th Jan currently! I'm also based next door in France so navigating the health system here (which is way better by all accounts - already had two scans by 9 weeks as standard) xx

LittleAlien24 · 18/06/2023 18:16

@Fi2788 so sorry to hear this
@MumToBeInSpain hi and welcome. Im also in spain 👋 im 10w1d I've already had 3 scans and next is on 3 july but it's because im high risk

Vikki7 · 18/06/2023 18:19

Hi all, I'm so excited! I've just had my NIPT results back. Low risk for chromosome trisomy of 18,13 and 21 and we're expecting a BOY!!!
So excited! I was 95% sure it was a girl! Eeeek!

Lilothblos · 18/06/2023 18:21

@Vikki7 wow congratulations!! Fantastic news. How long did it take you to get the results back? I’m doing the Harmony one next Friday.
