@CarnelianArtist yes that is annoying! I think what you said to me the other day is correct - sometimes they just don't think. They don't mean it for the most part - their brains just go into slight self-interest mode even if they're normally very considerate. And somehow it's our job to make sure their lives run smoothly.
Mine had another evening of not really thinking this week - he went out just before I got home; I didn't know whether he was coming home for dinner so made myself something when I got too hangry and nauseous. Then he got home just as I was eating and asked why I didn't text him to ask if I should make him dinner too and how I always make myself food without thinking if he wants food. This time I very calmly stated that little bean means if I don't eat I feel sick, so I couldn't wait for him and needed something. That gave him a bit of a reality check, and then I got second dinner!
@FirstT1meMum yes I felt out of sorts after the scan - too much squishing! bean was wriggly so they needed to keeping moving the wand about and jabbing in all sorts of places.
@Misspotterscat my symptoms greatly reduced when I hit 9-10 weeks and my boobs now hardly hurt at all (getting comfy in bed is much easier!). Scan this week showed a happy wriggly baby so hopefully that reassures you. As others have said, the placenta starts to take over and that often makes things better.
