@Bims2019 congrats! I want to find out gender but they don't tell you here so it'll have to be a private gender scan 😂 at 16-18 weeks they say

@MrsJ6921 yey another great scan!

{mention:ThomasinaLivesHere}@Gremlin84 oh I'm glad not just me, I'm not really a bad crier but I was sad yest when my husband went out to help a friend and I got lonely, and everything is setting me off! So weird!

@LondonNQT yep tired over here too! Felt ok ish a week or so ago but it seems to be coming back now! I think I need to keep busy or I just want to lie in bed all the time but that helps no one! Forced myself out a walk this morning but then felt so tired when I got back 🙈

Mummyme87 · 26/06/2023 15:41

Ahh so many lovely scans.

I went for a swim this morning, glad I went but completely wiped me out. The food waste bin made me vomit 🤢 it was bloody empty!!! I was putting food into it 😂

just been sent an appt to the perineal midwife due my previous 3rd degree tear and it’s on my usual work day that I happen to be on annual leave for in the school holidays at 9am 😑 need to try and change it

Salamander91 · 26/06/2023 15:56

Lots of lovely scans today! Congratulations 😊I've booked a private gender scan for 22nd July. I'm so excited!

buckingmad · 26/06/2023 16:12

@Mummyme87 the food bin was my nemesis in my first pregnancy. Thank god where we now live don’t do them!

Kalodin · 26/06/2023 16:31

On the talk of scans and early scans to find out the sex... I found out sex of the baby at 15weeks last pregnancy on the NHS! The sonographer asked me during one of my cervical length scans (as they also always checked baby too) if I wanted to know!

Ended up not needing the early gender scan I had booked for the following week 😂

So if anyone else is having cervical length scans, do ask if they'll have a sneaky look too

Dannic2018 · 26/06/2023 18:27

Aw so much to catch up on from yesterday! So many beautiful scans, congrats guys
here is over scan
now measuring 12 weeks 3/4 days
due 4/5 January. A very wriggly happy baby with lots of arm and leg movements it was so cute! Still can’t get my head around that my LMP was 10th April so should be 15th January now I’m 10 days ahead!
also any guesses on gender ? X

All these amazing scan pictures and news just makes me so happy!!! 😍😍😍
Makes me excited for mine on Thursday now (still bricking it but trying to have a positive mindset!). Those who have had their 12 week scan, was it a long appointment? I'm already leaving work 50 minutes before the appointment to pick up DH and get to the hospital and was aiming to be back by the end of lunch (about 2 hours after appointment time) and there's no one to cover my class in the afternoon 🙈

@suz2285 my emotions have been mental since about Friday, I'm feeling more like crying than usual and getting more irritable. I'm sure it's part hormones and just the general anxiety of my scan this week!

Hummusanddipdip · 26/06/2023 19:19

Wow! 65 messages since I read last night! We're a fast moving group haha

My scans at 9am next Friday @FirstT1meMum so my HT said not to worry about coming in, as I'd be leaving about 5 minutes into the day. I'm not sure if I'm lucky or not, but it's a strike day, so if things follow as they have on previous strike days, none of the 3 classes I work in will be in school, which means a very quiet day for me.

Congratulations everyone on the very clear and good news scans! Dh and I left ds to be a surprise last time but we're going to find out this time, ds keeps saying she, and he's telling everyone there's a baby in mummy's tummy 🤦‍♀️ 3 year olds can not keep secrets 🤣

Regarding weightloss, I lost a stone in the 1st trimester with DS, but this time I think I may have gained 😳

I'm another that's an emotional wreck for the most part, although, I usually am 🤣 so nothing new there

My only symptoms are tiredness, headaches and needing a wee ALL of the time!!!

Still no real sickness here, bit of nausea if I'm hungry, and I made myself feel ill with chewing gum today... who knew?

I have a feeling a couple of my cousins guessed at a family party over the weekend as I rejected a lot of alcohol and also because I claimed I was driving... and then dh drive home 🤣

JaffaCake123 · 26/06/2023 19:28

Emotions all over the place here too. I cried because my Drs appt was cancelled and moved a week later, I think that was frustration though. Good to hear I am not alone, stupid hormones!!

Misspotterscat · 26/06/2023 19:38

So lovely to see all the scan photos ❤️

My 12 weeks scan isn’t for another three weeks (I’ll be 12+2) and it’s like torture waiting - only had a private scan last week so my patience is just poor! I’ve been trying to keep my mind busy with other stuff as much as possible these past couple of weeks as my anxiety is so high.

Luhou · 26/06/2023 19:46

Lovely to see everybodys scans. Haven't got a date for mine yet, booking appointment thursday at 10.5 weeks.

Tired but have had a sudden burst of energy this afteenoon. Cleaned house all over when I got home from work.

Two days without sickness so feeling better for that.

suz2285 · 26/06/2023 20:00

@JaffaCake123 my midwife appointment was just moved back a week today too, luckily I've already had booking in and it was just for bloods so I'm not too bothered 😂 I usually get really upset with stupid stuff like that though!

@Dannic2018 another great scan! That's a fair move on the dates! Be interesting to see if they're accurate when baby is born!

@FirstT1meMum I'm anxiously awaiting my scan too, time seems to be anything from 25 mins to 4 hours depending where and who you need to see! I'm having to leave a meeting to go to mine but hoping to head home and work from there after! 😂

My appointment was about 45 mins and that’s including bloods for the combined screening. I also had no waiting time neither.

Dannic2018 · 26/06/2023 20:09

@suz2285 I had the same with my other 2 boys and they were just bigger than average (9lb3 & 8lb11) and I just think they were bigger as I definitely know when I had my period and when we had sex! 🤣🤣

PartRadish · 26/06/2023 20:33

Just had our scan and bloods taken for the Harmony test. All looked great. Baby has now fully caught up to my dates, 10+3 today, due date 19th January.

I couldn't believe the difference in 2 weeks. It was a blob 16 days ago. Now it's a proper baby shape and it was doing full on pirouettes. This is number 4 and it still blows my mind!

Hand is up resting on its head here and it looks a little bit like it's giving us the finger 😂

Lightningrain · 26/06/2023 21:06

I’m loving seeing all these scans!

I had mine today. Baby is measuring 2 days ahead at 12w +4 although I was told that they generally stick with the original date based on the embryo transfer for an IVF pregnancy. The NT measurement was 1.6mm so that was reassuring.

I had to do some rolling from side to side to encourage them into the right position which was very strange!

Any guesses on gender?

ThomasinaLivesHere · 26/06/2023 21:34

@Dannic2018 girl
@Lightningrain boy

@FirstT1meMum Mine felt like it was under 30 minutes in total though didn’t check time. We had to go to separate areas in hospital for scan and bloods but there was really no waiting. It’s hard to be sure as it can be your luck.

Onedayatatime24 · 26/06/2023 21:37

Eek so nice seeing all the scans! Makes me both parts terrified and excited to see ours next Tuesday!

I've not been crying but the smallest things are making me so angry, especially when I get tired in the evenings. Have to keep apologising to DH for being foul. 😂

Gremlin84 · 26/06/2023 22:16

Scan is tomorrow morning. Gone from being quite chilled in a “what will be, will be” way to now being rather freaked out - we haven’t had any private scans so this will be the moment it goes from being a hypothetical concept of having a baby to seeing what’s living in me 😬 assuming everything is ok, of course. Don’t even know how I’d react if it wasn’t.

ItsAJourney · 26/06/2023 22:31

Wow, what fantastic scans, congratulations everyone!! So funny that there were so many on one day!

@PartRadish, glad your measurements have caught up. How far behind were you before?

Flossiepot · 27/06/2023 05:50

Amazing scans 🥰 Congrats to you all! Xx

@suz2285 - I'm 10 weeks today. I'll have my 12 week scan on the 10th July, so not too long to go. Hoping everything remains fine. Trying not to worry

I have my 12 week scan the same day too so I'll look out for yours 🥰

Hey!! Just making myself known here ☺️ currently 9+4 with my first pregnancy and experiencing mild symptoms (just nausea, tiredness and sore boobs mainly!)

I had my bloods and urine done last week but I've not heard anything - is this normal? Do they upload it anywhere or just discuss in your appointments?

I'm super worried about my 12 week scan but I've not experienced anything abnormal to be worried about but the anxiety is real!!x

Hey! No news is good news if you haven't heard anything. We have a badger app in Hampshire where everything is uploaded so it lets you know your results etc in there. Have you got anything like that?

amynolan · 27/06/2023 07:49

Hi all, I have a scan today with my recurrent miscarriage clinic (I have them every 2 weeks) I'm 10+3 today (Frozen embryo transfer). I've heard people say drinking a sugary drink before a scan helps to see baby love and be measured accurately? Any thoughts on this? I don't want babe to be so active they can't measure but equally would love to see some acrobatics 😂
