I have a tutti bambini co sleeper cot. My very large baby lasted almost 9months in it. I say in it, I mean he co slept mainly 😂😂

FirstT1meMum · 22/06/2023 18:10

Lovely to see people connecting over the hospitals and things! Just wondering if anyone's in the Stoke-on-Trent area?

RootsHere · 22/06/2023 18:15

Randomly fancied watching One Born Every Minute today, so started by watching the first episode of the last series. Great show, but am I weird for watching it during a pregnancy? 😂

Flossiepot · 22/06/2023 18:22

@RootsHere I saw them on Netflix last week and have been trying to find the right time to decide to watch them 😹 Deffo getting the hubby in on watching them too when I do.

Kalodin · 22/06/2023 19:04

Not at all @RootsHere ! I loved that show when pregnant with DS2.

So I think I'm actually ill rather than just having morning sickness and I'm a bit worried. I have a fever, keep falling asleep and only waking up to run to the toilet (both ends). Never had this in pregnancy before, rarely get ill! I'm so worried about the baby

Oh bless you @Kalodin - give the doc a call in the morning (assuming you're keeping down some fluids), tell them you're pregnant and what's happening and they should take good care of you.

sashastuck · 22/06/2023 19:15

@RootsHere I am obsessed with it! Before I conceived but knew I wanted a baby I watched so much of it. I’m still watching it now I’m pregnant! Think I’ve seen almost every ep twice 😂

sashastuck · 22/06/2023 19:15

Hope you feel better soon @Kalodin that sounds horrid xx

Kalodin · 22/06/2023 19:17

Pretty sure I'm keeping at least 50% of fluid down @Outdamnspot23 Although definitely chucking up some. I'll call GP first thing, thank you

suz2285 · 22/06/2023 19:57

@Kalodin there's Noro virus doing the rounds at the moment so could well be that, if it is it's nasty! Rest up and keep drinking fluids 🤞

Luhou · 22/06/2023 20:09

@RootsHere i watched throughout my first pregnancy. Although I felt they gave me a false sence of hope for a normal straightforward birth. Remember thinking after, this is nothing like one born ever minuite!

Mummyme87 · 22/06/2023 21:25

@Kalodin get some diarolyte in. Hope you feel better soon

feel rubbish tonight. Work was so busy, and so hot. Got a banging head and exhausted. Not had a nap for two days!

Nellynoo182 · 22/06/2023 21:54

@Flossiepot I’ve got a list of everything I did and didn’t need after my DS was born last year if you want me to send it you! Xx

Flossiepot · 22/06/2023 21:56

@Nellynoo182 Ooh yes please, if you don't mind? There's so much stuff online 🙈

Mummyme87 · 22/06/2023 22:08

I kept some bits from previous kids, like my co sleeper cot, the big cot, think still got my ergo baby although will probably sell it as didn’t get on with this one, cloth nappies, sleepyhead, and a few clothes but only expensive stuff or really loved. Need a new pram which is exciting, not for the bank balance however 😂😂😂

Hummusanddipdip · 23/06/2023 02:25

I have nothing 🤣 I gave everything away last year when dh and I moved house because I had all but given up on having another child after 2 years of trying... and then the week I found out I was pregnant, I gave a bag of clothes I'd kept from the first year of ds's life (things he'd worn that I really loved) to my best friend for her little boy, I did stipulate anything that wasn't round by baby sick or poo I wanted back if I did get pregnant... and lo and behold, it happened
Although to be honest, I gave stuff, like the cot, to family so there is the very real possibility it'll make its way back to me 🤣 will need to buy a pushchair/ travel system of sorts and a car seat too though.

buckingmad · 23/06/2023 08:16

I’ve got everything. Might get a new bottle prep machine if breastfeeding doesn’t go well. I think I’m also going to get a new car seat too. It’ll only be 2.5 years old but think I’ll still go new again.

If it’s a boy I’ll need clothes! Everything I have is very pink and girly 😂

Kalodin · 23/06/2023 08:19

Thankfully we have quite a bit saved over from DS2 and 3 still, all neatly boxed up and in pristine condition. We had saved it all for our "best friends" as they had asked if we could pass it to them as they were TTC. We agreed but when they fell pregnant they weirdly stopped talking to us completely. Whilst the loss of friends hurts, I suppose it's handy having all our baby stuff still! Especially the pram, I bloody love it

Kalodin · 23/06/2023 08:19

Got a call with the nurse practioner this afternoon about being ill, although I've woken up feeling a lot better

Flossiepot · 23/06/2023 08:20

That's good @Kalodin! Glad you're feeling better x

PartRadish · 23/06/2023 08:47

Glad to hear you're feeling better @Kalodin

We got rid of almost everything because we were so certain we were done at 3 😬 Only things we still have are some favourite clothes that I couldn't part with and a huge bag of cloth nappies I never got round to passing on.

Outdamnspot23 · 23/06/2023 09:30

Who are the other first timers on here?

cossie13 · 23/06/2023 09:31

Glad you're feeling better @Kalodin

Feels lovely having people nearby @PartRadish & @Nellynoo182!

As for clothes, we are starting from scratch as I only have a couple of bits I kept from my last 2 as they are now 5 & 8! I did keep my ergobaby carrier though and I don't know why I kept it but I'm glad I did!

Matildahoney · 23/06/2023 09:39

@Outdamnspot23 I'm a first timer at the ripe old age of 40!

Flossiepot · 23/06/2023 09:40

@Outdamnspot23 First timer here 🙋🏻‍♀️ Probably already obvious after my silly questions 🙈
