Oh, I want halloumi now! Although I had a lovely brie and cranberry toastie the other day!

Kalodin · 10/06/2023 19:01

Best of luck @stressshead - hope the scan in 10 days goes smoothly and you were just behind on conception dates. I did have similar with my boys.

Bims2019 · 10/06/2023 19:13

@Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese ohh brie is my favourite! I've been avoiding it so far but it's so tempting

Panapan · 10/06/2023 19:17

Someone was asking if anyone feels big already. Well today my 6 and 3 year olds both separately asked if I’ve got another baby in my tummy, so it’s fair to say I’m objectively bigger than before (I’m only 10 weeks!). Came clean to them as didn’t want to lie - I suspect that will mean the news is out there now!

FirstT1meMum · 10/06/2023 19:44

@Yolksac I'm 9W+4 and have virtually zero symptoms and haven't really had any since the day I found out! I've only had a couple of days where I felt sick for a small period of time and my boobs feel no different! I do find I'm sleeping more. I know it's so hard not to worry, I constantly worry about my lack of symptoms but I mentioned it to the midwife at my booking in appointment this week and she said not too worry and no sickness or nausea isn't actually uncommon and it's mainly through tv and social media that all pregnant women feel this!

@stressshead what a day for you! Thinking of you and hoping these 10 days go by quickly. We're all here! Crossing everything ❤️

stressshead · 10/06/2023 20:01

Thank you everyone ❤️ xx

ThomasinaLivesHere · 10/06/2023 20:13

@stressshead Hope things go well for you.

@drjodiyogi thanks for recommendation. I will try to look into it. I also have a toddler so know how hard it is to find time although I’m lucky as I work a few days a week at home so have extra time then.

Eirlys1986 · 10/06/2023 20:14

@Yolksac I am 7+5 and have no nausea, slightly sore nipples (but am breastfeeding my 20 month old so could be just this!) and getting quite sleepy and wanting afternoon naps at same time as toddler. Otherwise wouldn’t know anything amiss so don’t worry about no symptoms. I think 20-30% women will have no nausea, it can just be a reflection that your body is less sensitive to the HCG rises that cause it or it may be that our nausea will come later!
@stressshead all the best with upcoming scan in coming days, sorry about the bleeding, so so stressful xxx

youaremysunshine03 · 10/06/2023 20:54

@Kalodin definitely not too late to join, welcome! I think the Facebook group link is a few pages back on this thread.

@stressshead sending lots of love, hope everything goes ok at the next scan and the bleeding stops in the meantime ❤️

@Yolksac at 6 weeks I had no symptoms really but they hit me hard about 7 weeks! Then disappeared again at 8 weeks for a few days which worried me but they’re now back again. Basically mine have been all over the place, some days I feel awful and others I wouldn’t know I’m even pregnant!

youaremysunshine03 · 10/06/2023 20:56

@Yolksac oh my symptoms (when I do have them) are nausea, vomiting (I really hate being sick so this is great 🙃) and fatigue. I had sore boobs right at the start but since 6 weeks they haven’t hurt at all, they’ve just been bigger! I barely had any symptoms in my first pregnancy

sashastuck · 10/06/2023 21:40

Hope all goes well @stressshead xx

I feel a bit anxious today, I don’t feel pregnant at all. I’ve been a wedding since 10am and although my social battery is gone (currently sat in the car having a breather) I don’t feel that tired, haven’t felt bloated, poking my boobs and they feel fine etc. I know so many of us have said this over the weeks on certain days but I really expected more from being 10 weeks, feeling a bit down about it even. Just counting down the days until the next scan now

Lilothblos · 10/06/2023 23:33

@sashastuck I’ve been feeling like that on quite a few days, I’m currently 9 weeks. I think it can be quite common for symptoms to ease from around 10 weeks as the placenta starts to take over and so hcg stops rising, at least that’s what I’ve read!

Onedayatatime24 · 10/06/2023 23:42

@stressshead sorry to hear about the bleeding! I had bleeding on and off for about 2 weeks from 5 -7 weeks ish, ranging from a couple of bright red bleeds to brown spotting with the odd clot. Had some blood pretty much every day, even if it was light. I had two scans at 5+4 and 6+5 and they found everything fine and normal, including a heartbeat at the 6+5 one. I was told some women can just bleed for no reason, implantation, due to hormones, having sex, or due to sensitive cervix getting bruised as things are shuffling around... Had very light brownish discharge for the last week ish but seems to have about stopped as I reached 8 weeks (currently 8+2). Fingers crossed same for you and it's nothing! I know it's so horribly worrying and frustrating that all you can do is wait around and see. Try not to Google - it definitely made my anxiety worse!! Sending all the love! 💖

Luhou · 11/06/2023 06:51

Sorry to all that are experiencing no symptoms, I am sure everything is just fine and you're one of the lucky few. I feel like I am struggling with nasuea everyday, and general discomfort like stretching, pulling and cramping sensations in my stomach - anybody else experience this? I wouldn't say its painful but it's quite uncomfortable. I never know what I want to eat. Like others have said, I deffinetely feel bigger this time round likely just bloat I know.

Eirlys1986 · 11/06/2023 07:17

@sashastuck I have felt the same on some recent days but then I have also realised that likely me feeling quite flat and not happy is likely a progesterone related symptom so that’s a pregnancy symptom within itself! 12 week scan will make it much more real as you will see a proper little moving person in there! It’s amazing 😊, then the bump shall come 😃. I keep frequently forgetting I am pregnant and then feeling a bit sad about it as I know this will be the last pregnancy for me as we only want 2 children. Hope you feel a bit better soon xxx

CaptainMuddle · 11/06/2023 08:11

Had a fair amount (about a liner full) of brown blood last night. I’m not too concerned at this point, I’m 7 weeks and have read that it could be an implantation bleed or cervical irritation. I have a scan on Wednesday morning so will keep my fingers crossed til then!

Niam4 · 11/06/2023 08:34

@stressshead really sorry to hear that and hopefully all will be just fine in 10 days. It’s not easy but hopefully reassuring that they can’t see any issue.

I am similar to a few here I got sick yesterday morning but since my nausea seems to have really subsided (usually lasts most of the day) I did on Thursday change from my prenatal to just folic acid and vit d, I also added vit b6 since Friday as I heard this can help with the nausea. Thursday was horrific with the nausea. Know that it’s subsided im
starting to panic as I’m away on holidays it makes me feel like I have increased my risk of things going wrong. So irrational but hard not to panic. I’m 9 weeks today I wonder would it be common for nausea to start reducing ?

Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese · 11/06/2023 09:00

See I'm the opposite with the tablets. I was on seperate folic, vit d and iron and was feeling ill, swapped to a multi-vit and the sickness is no more. Odd how different things affect us all differently.

suz2285 · 11/06/2023 09:18

@Luhou yeah I'm getting pulling stretching and weird pains when I move or cough or things

@sashastuck I've def been feeling better the last few days and I'm only 8+2... I felt horrific from 5-7 weeks I'm not sure if it's going to come back badly or if that's me adjusted and it'll be better now! Who knows... no worrying symptoms though and still gassy, bloated, irritated, sore boobs, all of that! And exhausted! 😂😂

sashastuck · 11/06/2023 09:28

@suz2285 gassy I can relate to! When does that part end?!

Thank you @Lilothblos @Luhou @Eirlys1986 for the reassurance. Sore boobs are back this morning after a sleep!

@CaptainMuddle it’s good to hear you’re not too worried, with brown blood I think you’re right about what it could be. Fingers crossed you’ll have no more today though xx

suz2285 · 11/06/2023 09:46

@sashastuck I dunno but it's quite ridiculous 😂😂

ThomasinaLivesHere · 11/06/2023 09:51

I’m 9 weeks today I wonder would it be common for nausea to start reducing ?

It’s common for symptoms to go when the placenta takes over which is by the end of the first trimester so totally normal.

Mummyme87 · 11/06/2023 10:37

So I’m feeling sick again this morning. And obvs I’m like urgghhhh whhhy. Can’t bloody win!!!
8+4 today, time starting to speed up.

Eirlys1986 · 11/06/2023 12:00

@Mummyme87 oh no! 🤢 sorry you’re feeling pukey again. It’s so funny that there’s those of us who cannot wait for the pukes to go and the other people who would like some pukes for reassurance 😆

suz2285 · 11/06/2023 13:04

@Eirlys1986 @Mummyme87 so true, currently worried cos i feel 'ok' today! The last few days I've been feeling better and better... not sure if it's a good thing or not, least when I had the bad nausea I was reassured 🙈

Not sure if I'm expecting it to come back worse or what!
