@HannahLouD I'm 6+6 too by my LMP and nausea on and off all day haven't been sick for a week though but Jesus my boobs hurt so much.
Until.i have my scan next weekend I'm convinced that there is going to be nothing there.

@PhyllisVance23 from my experience with a MC when I had an empty sac I had zero symptoms and the cramps and bleeding intensified almost as soon as it was confirmed so I'd take it as a good sign crossing fingers for you.

s14a · 21/04/2023 20:33

Thank you for the new thread! Definitely didn't take long to fill up!

Pitstop1986 · 21/04/2023 20:53

Marking my place! I'm 6+6 according to my ovulation dates, sooooo tired and nauseous and spend my days stuffing my face! Haha

Oldermum84 · 21/04/2023 21:07

Thanks for tagging me I thought I'd lost you all! For whoever asked... My scan was internal, which was recommended as being much more accurate by the clinic,.they even sent a video prior to the appointment to show the difference in images and it was clear. The internal scan is nothing to worry about.

I'm nearly 7 weeks and struggling with insomnia and constipation - any recommendations what can help?

99SR · 21/04/2023 22:19

Phew a second thread!! Been checking all day and finally found it haha
im 5+4 today, boobs don’t feel as sore & nausea isn’t as bad today. Still having the occasional cramping sensation 🙄 can’t help but read too much into this! X

wannabemum38 · 21/04/2023 23:20

@Oldermum84 It was me that asked. Yeah I've had them before and had an ultrasound recently internally. As I had a MC last time I had ultrasounds with those internals I've got bad memories. But I know its nothing to worry about.

I am not sure if it will help, but when I had anxiety and sleeping I made a bedtime routine I strictly followed even if I didn't feel like it.

My routine was mostly reducing screen time and giving my brain a chance to wind down as I would unknowingly get worked up.

I hope your insomnia fades soon.

allthingspinkx · 22/04/2023 00:08

Hi everyone, managed to find the new thread!

Planning on telling DP over the weekend, any ideas on how to break the news? Not sure how he'll take it!

How is everyone with their symptoms? All I've noticed is how gassy and bloated I am, feeling more pg than I am! 🤦🏼‍♀️

NoodleQueen90 · 22/04/2023 04:48

The nausea hit me full on yesterday at 6+1! Up until then I'd been getting waves of nausea usually triggered by smells or food but yesterday I just felt rotten all day! Lived on tuc crackers.
Also insomnia now too 😂 woke up at 4am and now wide awake which is just cruel on a Saturday!

Mushroo · 22/04/2023 06:36

Checking in! Just squeezed into the last thread so I’ll introduce myself. I’m 31, this is baby number 1 and I should be due around 31 December! (Lots of 3s and 1s there!)

AF was due today and I’ve had a nice test with progression from the last few days so starting to feel a bit more real… I think I’m 4 weeks today.

Is anyone else insanely thirsty? Also my sleep is already ruined? The fact I’m up at half 6 is obscene, I’m normally a 10am at the weekend kind of person!

Mushroo · 22/04/2023 06:37

Can see @NoodleQueen90 and @Itonlytakesaminute also struggling with sleep! It feels like a cruel joke doesn’t it? 😂

why am I awake now?!

NoodleQueen90 · 22/04/2023 06:45

@Mushroo welcome and congratulations 😊 I'm 32 and this is also my first.
It's brutal 😂 normally I live for food and sleep but over the last couple of weeks, I'm not enjoying any food really (apart from one popcorn chicken meal from kfc that I've not eaten in years!) and although I'm going to bed exhausted, I seem to wake up after 4-6hrs and can't get back to sleep then shattered all day...god knows how people do it with another DC to take care of!

Mushroo · 22/04/2023 06:50

@NoodleQueen90 congratulations as well! :) exactly the same! If you’d asked my hobbies I’d have said food and sleep!

So far food is still ok (popcorn chicken sounds excellent) but the sleep! Although saying that going to Spain next week and was looking forward to sampling the Pintxos. However my memory seems to refuse to remember what I can / can’t eat. Will have the NHS website open like a guidebook 😂

DaisyMay25 · 22/04/2023 06:56

@NoodleQueen90 I'm watching CBeebies with my three year old boy, it is not fun. I just feel so so sick and he's making me rummage through the fridge 😬

I'm 32 on Tuesday, I see there's a few of us around the same age!

NoodleQueen90 · 22/04/2023 07:07

@Mushroo ooh sounds great, enjoy your holiday! OH and I unexpectedly have a long weekend off together next week so I'm looking to book into a nice hotel for the weekend as a treat last minute. We're in Scotland so probably just head to the highlands somewhere for a chill weekend.
I usually love getting a seafood starter and rare fillet steak for a main when we're out but undercooked meat is out and now I'm thinking mussels are too risky...going by my appetite at the moment I'm not sure I'd be able to stomach any of that anyway 😂
Contemplating crisps for breakfast right now 🙈

NoodleQueen90 · 22/04/2023 07:09

@DaisyMay25 honestly hats off to you, I can't imagine having to look after someone else right now...OH is bad enough 🤣

bringmearainbow · 22/04/2023 07:13

Oh the bloody insomnia is hell was awake for 3 hours in the night fell back to sleep but woke myself up dreaming I fainted because I've been really dizzy and shock I'm very dizzy this morning 🙄 hubby is working so I'm on 2 year old duty today

Mushroo · 22/04/2023 07:14

@NoodleQueen90 thats sounds lovely! Your usual order sounds like my perfect dish. Hopefully they’ll be something appealing on the menu.

Crisps sounds a perfect breakfast 👌

99SR · 22/04/2023 07:50

My sleep has also changed! Another early riser over here which I’ve never been before 🤣
Got 3+ on the clear blue digital today! Think I might stop testing now 🫣

Charlielechat · 22/04/2023 07:55

Nice to see others up early today too 🤣 Been up since 6.30 which would be a big struggle for me normally!!

@99SR that's amazing! I'm sure that's a relief. My mommed line was darker this morning so I'm thinking about trying for a 2-3 week test 🙈 I was trying to hold off until 5 weeks! I'm 4+3 today.

Great news on the line progression @Mushroo !

Mushroo · 22/04/2023 08:06

@99SR That’s great! I’m going for a digital tomorrow and then will stop as well.

@Charlielechat thank you!

Itonlytakesaminute · 22/04/2023 08:35

@NoodleQueen90 @Mushroo I feel for you both.
I'm normally an 8+ hour sleeper but am waking up About 4am and struggle to sleep again 😭

Food wise - all I want is plain salty things at the moment which is a shame as I am abroad at the moment and just don't fancy the nice food

HannahLouD · 22/04/2023 08:36

Sorry to put a downer on things, but is anyone else absolutely terrified at the thought of having a missed miscarriage? Fully aware, as I said yesterday that symptoms come and go, but it's unnerving waking up and feeling absolutely fine after feeling so nauseous just the day before. I know I should stop googling but they seem to be a lot more common than I thought. I know I've seen a little heartbeat but that doesn't mean all that much this early on.
If people are feeling anxious/stressed, what are you doing to help to cope/alleviate the feeling? Fully aware google is my worst enemy and need to stop... But I don't know what to do to shake this fear. I'm past the chemical stage so I know I'm at least not going to have another cp, but now I'm just so worried about MMC... x

DaisyMay25 · 22/04/2023 08:43

@HannahLouD I had a mc at six weeks in 2017 and a mmc in 2020 at 10 weeks. I'm absolutely terrified!
I'm not sure wether to get an early scan or not. With my mmc I went at 7 weeks but sac measured 5 weeks so went back 2 weeks later as they said could be too early to see anything but then just saw a very empty sac.
So would've been 9 weeks, had to get reffered to EPU from them.
I'm pretty sure I'll lose this one too, I want to believe I won't be the two I lost were natural pregnancies and my little boy is from IVF. Do I don't have faith in natural pregnancies.
So I fully understand the fear you have, it's gonna be a long couple of months for me
