@Charlielechat the cheapy sticks can stall for a while! I think today's looks darker! These were mine... (Fully aware I carried on testing for far too long) but mine didn't really change much at all from day to day and I had times I couldn't tell if the day before was lighter or darker. I'm 7 weeks now x

@DaisyMay25 yeah I'm a serial tester 🙈 I know people always tell you not to test for progression but I just like to know exactly what's going on so I don't get my hopes up unnecessarily. Why is early pregnancy so long! 😱

DaisyMay25 · 23/04/2023 09:29

@Charlielechat I've got two left that I'm leaving til Thursday now. We've got so long to wait too 😭 I'm gonna register online for midwife appointment next week, I'll be almost six weeks.

Charlielechat · 23/04/2023 09:32

@HannahLouD thank you that's really helpful! You had good progression!
Will see what the next day brings I guess. The waiting is awful!

Mushroo · 23/04/2023 09:48

@Charlielechat i also think they look like they’re getting darker. I had the same panic this morning and I’ve vowed to not test for a week as Im driving myself mad, the spotting last night did NOT help.

Here’s mine for reference 12dpo - 15dpo. I still don’t think it’s particularly dark but I’m stepping back from the tests for now.

Charlielechat · 23/04/2023 09:56

Thanks @Mushroo that looks like good progression to me! Oh goodness I'm sure you panicked last night! Thank goodness it's stopped today.

Mushroo · 23/04/2023 10:03

@Charlielechat thank you! Yes the spotting was not fun at all. Seems fine today so just taking one day at a time.

We’ve got this!

HannahLouD · 23/04/2023 10:15

@Mushroo the ics take loadsss longer to get dark than the more expensive tests like frers... Yours looks like good progression to me! x

Wineisgreat · 23/04/2023 10:18

All I'm craving is burgers! Even at 10am!!! 🙈

Mushroo · 23/04/2023 10:19

@HannahLouD thank you! I know you completely get the need to test so that’s reassuring to hear x

Mushroo · 23/04/2023 11:41

I’ve had more spotting :( I don’t think it’s looking good.

I know there’s nothing that can be done but feel so down. It’s still just pink but a lot more of it.

DaisyMay25 · 23/04/2023 11:45

@Mushroo blood isn't always bad though. How many weeks are you? Can you contact the EPU?

Mushroo · 23/04/2023 11:47

I’m only 4 weeks so I suspect they’ll just tell me to wait and see.

Im on holiday next week so can’t do much really as I’ll be out of the country. Just deep breaths and hope for the best but I suspect the worst unless it stops very soon.

Charlielechat · 23/04/2023 12:09

Fingers crossed it's just normal early pregnancy spotting @Mushroo My friend had spotting a few times in early pregnancy and is now 15 weeks!

Mushroo · 23/04/2023 12:11

@Charlielechat thank you 🙏 just have to see what happens I guess.

wannabemum38 · 23/04/2023 12:22

Dont forget the Hook effect ladies who are testing. Dilute your urine and see the difference in the test line.

Top line undiluted bottom diluted.

@smldnlove I'm getting married in August so will be 5 months definitely can't hide the bump or fact im not drinking lol have already asked venue for non alcoholic prosecco. Haven't contemplated postponing it want to be married before baby comes.

Are people planning on going to their booking appointments alone or with their partners? I have mine on Tuesday and I went alone to my daughter's (but I was single so 🤷🏻‍♀️)... My partner wants to come along with me but I remember it pretty much just being lots of questions and filling out of forms so I'm pretty sure he's not needed/it'll be extremely boring for him? x

DaisyMay25 · 23/04/2023 16:37

@HannahLouD mine won't be coming, I'm often shocked at the appointment of partners that come to non scan appointments. Just make sure you know important medical stuff from his side

Rainbowdust557 · 23/04/2023 16:47

@Mushroo I really hope it's ok for you. I had a bit with my now 4 year old. They said it was late implantation bleeding. Try and rest up and take it easy.

Great question! I've been thinking the same.

It's my first and want him involved + he wants to be there. But only if it makes sense I guess!

Mushroo · 23/04/2023 16:58

@Rainbowdust557 thank you, it’s stopped again now and my heart rate is still up, with good line progression so just seeing what happens.

TBH even if the worst happens, the fact that me and DH can reach the BFP stage is such a step in the right direction that even if this isn’t meant to be, it’s given me hope.

OnNaturesCourse · 23/04/2023 17:11

My DP came to my first booking in appointment. Before we realised he wasn't really needed lol.

Cramping seems to have eased off, maybe it was just something I ate as my little girl is poorly today too saying her tummy hurts x

DaisyMay25 · 23/04/2023 18:57

Anyone else burping more? It's ridiculous 😂
