I’m so sorry if anyone messaged me 😂 I was at the baby and toddler show yesterday which was wild 😂 and I’ve clicked on notifications and can’t remember who said what 😂 can’t see them again.

has anyone else been to one of these shows? 🥹💓

LaVitesse2022 · 23/04/2023 09:53

@BeaKind I hope you're OK and it's nothing. Must be frightening to suddenly get that but remember many women bleed through pregnancy and it's fine. Hope you get some answers soon for peace of mind x

@NSx I went to the ExCel one when I was just 8 weeks and tbh felt like a fraud 😂 All women there were sporting huge bumps or with children already and I didn't even feel pregnant. I found it useful to start having an idea of the things out there but not sure it's that much useful over visiting a mamas & papas store and to me doesn't replace online research. How did you find it?

Smiffette · 23/04/2023 10:08

@lostfrequencies I am generally ok in the morning with ever such a small hint of a bump, but by afternoon it's very obvious! It's my second and I'm 14+5

LaVitesse2022 · 23/04/2023 10:38

@lostfrequencies same, mornings you couldn't tell but by afternoon it's now noticeable 🙂

NSx · 23/04/2023 10:41

@LaVitesse2022 😂😂😂 felt the same and I’m almost 14 weeks 😂😅
huge big bumps everywhere.

tbh I wanted to see my pram in person before I chose, so it gave me the clarity that I still love and want the pram I’ve picked 💕💓

was lovely to see all the bits and bobs, however we aren’t finding out the gender, so couldn’t buy anything or really look as most things are gender specific when it comes to clothes.

we got a nice goody bag which was useful, however found it odd people fixing me leaflets for swimming lessons for my child 😂😂🤍 (who won’t be swimming for atleast another 3 years 😂😂)

ttcttc · 23/04/2023 11:41

@NSx what pram have you picked?

@BeaKind look after yourself. Let us know how you get on today x

NSx · 23/04/2023 12:34

@ttcttc the egg2 in Mink 🤎

Koalawhala · 23/04/2023 17:44

Hope you’re doing ok @BeaKind x

NSx · 23/04/2023 18:19

@BeaKind Just read back, hope you’re ok 🤍

Mamabear345 · 23/04/2023 19:09

@NSx you can definitely take them swimming earlier. My DD had swim lessons from being little

Sav96 · 23/04/2023 19:37

Hope you don’t mind me joining the thread 🤞🏼

I’m due 14th October with my rainbow baby!
I had a MMC in Dec which I found at my 12 week scan so I’m a little anxious this pregnancy.
Currently 15 weeks - baby seems perfectly healthy at scans. Would be nice to have some people on similar timelines to talk to xx

CL05071998 · 23/04/2023 19:53

@BeaKind The same happened me 3 weeks ago, woke up feeling like I wet myself, looked like start of period, but stayed light after that. Got checked out a few days later and baby was fine and bouncing around the place. Has happened on and off since, and is worrying but it's more often than not nothing to worry about. Midwife did say at my scan it's common. Try get checked for peace of mind x

OrionNebula · 23/04/2023 20:53

Welcome @Sav96 Smile

Can I ask those who are around the same stage as me (16 weeks) and think you have felt movement, does it seem to be a particular time of day? I've definitely been having little ripples and flutters but only seems to be in the evenings when I am relaxing. I'm not sure if that's because they are so subtle I just don't notice them when I am working/running around after a toddler or if maybe in the evening I'm a bit more bloated and baby is pushed more to the front or something so easier to feel.

Chanteuse · 23/04/2023 21:01

@OrionNebula I can only really notice mine when I’m sitting/laying still. But this is my first so I’m not 100% sure what I’m feeling 🤣

PrimarilyParented · 23/04/2023 21:28

@OrionNebula i’ve been convinced this week that I can feel baby when I’m lying down at bedtime (or nap time). I don’t know if it’s because I’m more aware or if it’s because baby is more active when I’m still.

VanillaOat · 23/04/2023 21:44

@OrionNebula not felt anything yet! Placenta is at the back though as confirmed at my gender scan yesterday, so hoping it won’t be long!!

OrionNebula · 23/04/2023 22:12

So others are the same, interesting! Like everything else in this pregnancy it's making me paranoid of course...

razzler991 · 23/04/2023 22:21

@OrionNebula keep thinking I feel something but then I pass wind shortly after, so think I'm just a bit gassy!

Alexandra07 · 23/04/2023 22:55

@Sav96 welcome! I am sorry for your previous loss. A few of us are in a similar situation, I also had a MC in December although it wasn't a MMC.

@OrionNebula you are supposed to feel there flutters first when you are relaxed and not when busy doing other things!

Onethingiwantfor23 · 24/04/2023 08:27

Is anyone taking antihistamines for hayfever? I keep reading such conflicting advice but don't want to suffer like I usually do without.

I'm only 14 and I'm convinced I feel things when I'm laying down at night. Like a little ripple now and again, very subtle.

katherine123x · 24/04/2023 09:21

@ttcttc me too

Last night and two nights ago I felt a feeling inside.

katherine123x · 24/04/2023 09:52

When are you all going to think nursery's and big things? The thought scares the living day lights out of me currently!! I was thinking maybe a few weeks after 20 week scan? Start thinking about making some space etc. I don't know 🤷🏼‍♀️

ttcttc · 24/04/2023 10:11

katherine123x · 24/04/2023 09:21

@ttcttc me too

It's bizarre isn't it because we're told it doesn't happen and then it's like well what is that 😂

WhosBob · 24/04/2023 10:11

Due October 30th with my second. I've got my 12 week scan today. Is anyone else still suffering from nausea and vomiting? I thought it would have eased by now but I feel awful majority of the time. Also had constant headaches for the last 2 weeks which arent shifting. Any solutions would be appreciated x
