@ttcttc - esh, that looks super uncomfortable. I hope you get some relief from it soon!

NSx · 02/05/2023 21:24

@ttcttc I know I should feel at ease with my NIPT, but I would also like to just receive that bit of paper that says what my results were for my combined just for my own mind 😂😅 …

that rash looks sore or is it cuts? Are you moisturising yourself enough? I’ve changed to a more thick and intense moisturiser as I found I was a bit drier? could this be making you itch?

Chanteuse · 02/05/2023 21:24

Aw how lovely @AlongcameLainey 💕

Yep moisturising daily sometimes twice due to the itching. I've ordered some mama mio stuff so hoping that comes soon.

I've been using a plain Nivea as my usual moisturised (bath and body works) made me react. Been using it for ages and it was fine and then had a bad reaction a few week ago 🤦🏼‍♀️.

They're little bruises. Not sore really. They've gone now. The itching hasn't.

NSx · 02/05/2023 21:32

@cruciverbalista lovely baby bump 💖 I have Zero bump 😂 I’m only 15 weeks though

@AlongcameLainey congrats on your girl 😘💖

AlongcameLainey · 02/05/2023 21:34

Thanks all. Was so sure it was a boy this time 🤪😅

cruciverbalista · 02/05/2023 21:36

@NSx Heard the baby doubles in size between weeks 15-17. This has definitely felt accurate based on my appearance lol!

NSx · 02/05/2023 21:37

@ttcttc I’ve started using the palmers stretch mark stuff on my belly, boobs, bum and thighs, and I use a e45 type lotion elsewhere, as my skin was becoming quite dry… I’ve heard that coconut/ almond oils are also quite. I’ll be buying those.
I saw a girl on Instagram with that mama mío stuff she used the shower stuff too, will need to have a look…

it’s not an allergy you have is it ?

firstlittlefrazzleontheway · 02/05/2023 21:38

@cruciverbalista I've read that baby Doubles in size between 16 and 18 weeks too. I'm 17 weeks tomorrow and definitely have a bump now, it's even there when I wake up first thing

NSx · 02/05/2023 21:38

@cruciverbalista how were you at 15 wks for reference? I can’t wait to get a little baby bump 😅🥹 🤍

cruciverbalista · 02/05/2023 21:41

@NSx I looked slightly chunky but much less obviously pregnant. We were on holiday throughout my week 16 and it was only really obvious in a bikini. I think it really popped within the last 4 days or so!

cruciverbalista · 02/05/2023 21:43

@NSx Actually, just found this photo from the 15th April so that would be a good reference :) - You can all see both halves of our closet now hahaha

NSx · 02/05/2023 21:46

@cruciverbalista wow you have definitely really popped 😄😊 you give me hope, I’m travelling to Spain on the 26th, will be seeing my family for the first time in a while, so would rather have some sort of ‘bump’ than just look a bit round 😂😂😂😂
your bump is so cute 😄💕 loving the wardrobe too haha

cruciverbalista · 02/05/2023 21:48

@NSx Haha thanks it was a great buy! This holiday I mentioned last week was my first time seeing my parents since getting pregnant and they were REALLY struck by how I looked - I think someone who hasn't seen your body gradually changing will be impressed even at what feels like an early stage! But in 3 weeks I'm sure you will be bumping!

NSx · 02/05/2023 21:51

@cruciverbalista fingers crossed 😂🤞 I’ll keep you posted.
I hope you had a lovely time on holiday with your family 🌸🤍

doeandfawn · 02/05/2023 22:25

@cruciverbalista wow you’re looking fab! Can’t wait to properly show and not just look puffy.

Screening results back today, very low risk on all fronts which is amazing since genetic issues run in my family so was expecting bad news. Feel like I’m so behind you all at only 14+2!

Hmm I wouldn't rule it out obv but I've never had allergies before. I'm seeing midwife in a couple of weeks so going to try and persevere until then.

That's fab. What was you're 1 in xxx. Chance if you don't mind sharing. Just curious as mine was low but not sure how low is very low as I think I expected mine to be a higher number x

NSx · 03/05/2023 08:13

@ttcttc if it gets too bad contact the pharmacy or GP don’t suffer for weeks, although I do know the pharmacy can be a bit tricky to treat a pregnant lady …

@VictoriaBlossom you’ve been quiet girl❣️ I’m hoping everything is ok with you x

doeandfawn · 03/05/2023 08:31

@ttcttc 1 in 100k for Edward’s and Patau’s, 1 in 8500ish for Down’s (which I thought was going to be minimum 1 in 500). PAPP-A 1.42

My letter didn't say what my Papp-a was.

My ds was 1 in 8157
And E and P was 1 in 50,000. Just realised that mines double yours 😬😬

VictoriaBlossom · 03/05/2023 15:11

@NSx mate it's all systems go

House is going through, we fly to Jamaica in less than 4 weeks.
My new golf arrived after waiting 2 years for it, and now I've decided to sell it and I'm going to buy a Vito.

I'm tired 😪

NSx · 03/05/2023 16:01

@ttcttc so I contacted the antenatal dept at the hospital.
they said they only call/send a letter if it’s high risk, and all low risk get told their results at their 16w midwife appt 😂😂😂
So basically I won’t receive any results through the post, I will find out my results on 12/05 😂😅 what a palava. They must be saving money on paperwork 😂

@VictoriaBlossom sounds like a busy time of it 😂😅 what date do you fly to Jamaica, sounds fun.
I thought this might be the case with your new car, does it not lose value now you’ve had it delivered to you? what is a Vito? 😂😅

ali2021 · 03/05/2023 16:17

@ttcttc , by any chance are you an IVF patient or on additional progesterone/oestrogen medicine? I had an awfully itchy rash which looked like chicken pox from weeks 11-15, until I came off all my medication. My cousin had the exact same until she came off her IVF meds. I found the only thing which really helped was having porridge baths! That gave me about 5 hrs relief. I put porridge oats into a sock, tied it and put into a bath. After a while of soaking in it, I took the sock and rubbed it all over the rash. It is so so horrible- I was similarly tearing the skin off myself, night and day!! I really hope it doesn't last much longer for you ❤️

Well they could've told you up front. Reassuring you're low risk though xx
