@ttcttc I’m also shattered 😅😅 I’ve just slept for 11h 😂😅 .. I was also sick twice yesterday, however it’s the first time I’ve been sick in a few days so hopefully it’s easing up 😅🥹

I’m in the Glasgow area - the hospital is a busy one so probably just bunged up, where about an are you located? Will see if it comes today 🤞🤞 there’s nothing updated on my badger notes. Has yours updated? X

I haven't actually been sick at all, just feel sick all the time. Midwife said sometimes that's worse! I mean it's obv not worse than having hyperemesis but you know what I mean.

I'm Cumbria, not far from the lakes, quite rural. Our samples go to Newcastle (we have nothing here haha) and they send the letter direct from there. I spoke to my friend who had a baby feb and she checked her badger and said hers still says not published so not holding my breath they update it at all x

NSx · 29/04/2023 12:10

@ttcttc I’ve heard from a few people that badger notes isn’t always updated 😂 so I don’t know why I’m even bothering to look 😅😂…

ah how lovely I’ve never been to the lakes but heard it’s beautiful, I’ve driven past though 😂💕

I’m quite lucky that I’m using one of the best hospitals in the north, apparently the the feral medicine specialists up here are even used by people in the north of England, so I know I’m in good hands atleast. However still didn’t get my letter & the mail has been 😅🥹 .. oh well.

yea I would agree feeling sick is worse than being sick you almost get a bit of relief after you vomit 😂😅 can’t wait to start feeling good 🥹

Midnight00 · 29/04/2023 18:09

Is anyone beginning to feel movements? I'm 18wks with first and not sure if it's it or something else.... really low down but a bit stronger than 'flutters'!

NSx · 29/04/2023 18:26

@Midnight00 I’m only 14 +3 🥹🥹🥹 how are you so far ahead of me 😂😅 what’s your DD
I’m feeling nothing 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲 wish it was me - I’ve heard a few people say they can feel it about 18 weeks I think it just depends 💖💖

Midnight00 · 29/04/2023 18:45

@NSx I'm right at the other end to you ... was due 5/10 but adjusted to Sept 30 at scan. This part is going SO much quicker than the first trimester when time dragged. Loads of exciting milestones ahead for you 💝

NSx · 29/04/2023 19:16

@Midnight00 jealous 😂😂😂 wish it was me, however I am so glad the first trimester is over 😅 ….
I can’t wait to get an actual bump 😂 I look festively plump 🥹

OrionNebula · 29/04/2023 19:28

@Midnight00 17 weeks tomorrow and getting little ripples and flutters. It's very sporadic though, none for ages sometimes and then I'll get a few, so it's causing me a bit of anxiety. Looking forward to it being more regular.

Midnight00 · 29/04/2023 19:43

@OrionNebula That's exactly how others have described it - exciting! From what I've heard it's very sporadic at the beginning and not till proper kicking movement that's it's more regular... I think! Try not too worry X

ali2021 · 29/04/2023 20:05

16w tomorrow and it seems I have developed a significant bump out of nowhere over the past 4 days 🤣 Madness! I did read on my app that baby will double in size during weeks 15-17 so to anticipate a jump in bump size but it's actually mad!

OrionNebula · 29/04/2023 20:29

@Midnight00 I know it's illogical as I didn't have any movements at all at this time on my last pregnancy! But I seem to be worrying a lot this time around. Hoping it will calm down a bit when the movements and kicks are more regular Smile

xLMCx · 29/04/2023 20:39

Hey guys! First time ever posting to mumsnet so bare with me 🤣 I'm currently 13+4 with my second child! I have suffered with on and off bleeding with this pregnancy so had major anxiety which did not help nausea levels! We had the scan earlier this week and measurements look good! We are classed as low chance for the syndromes tested but I am still suffering with on and off bleeding 😭 docs have said that as long as I don't get period pains or clots there is nothing to worry about 🤷🏻‍♀️ baby number two is due on Halloween 🎃 👻 sending lots of love to everyone and their pregnancies on this thread x

Welcome @xLMCx and how cute a little Halloween pumpkin! 🎃

OrionNebula · 29/04/2023 21:10

Welcome @xLMCx !

Alexandra07 · 29/04/2023 21:55

Congratulations and welcome @xLMCx that's a lovely scan photo!

katherine123x · 30/04/2023 08:09

Couldn't resist going into mamas and papas yesterday. Lots of great bits on sale. You can pay a full refundable deposit! And anything over £1000 you get £100 back, £1500 is £150 etc. if anyone is interested!! 😊

Summer022 · 30/04/2023 09:30

Still no bump and my tummy just feels squishy, not hard or bump-like at all 😖 I think it worries me whether or not baby is growing as it should. I’m 14+3 so this is probably normal, but a very weird in between stage! All was ok at 12 week scan which now feels like a decade ago.

NSx · 30/04/2023 10:21

@Summer022 i don’t particularly have a bump and I’m 14+4 … my stomach is just kind of round at the bottom 😅

iloveeggs · 30/04/2023 11:54

I don't really have a bump yet, I'm 15 weeks. Just feel bloated and pudgy, I'm eating loads too so think it's just food bloat.

DSP21 · 30/04/2023 11:58

I don’t think a lot of women get bumps till 18-20 weeks, and certainly not hard bumps! I definitely didn’t, nor has anyone I know so i wouldn’t look too much into it this early. There’s a looong way to go still!

NSx · 30/04/2023 13:13

For anyone getting a Doona, I just saw the Doona car seat stroller for £269 in Aldi 🤍🌸

thecatsthecats · 30/04/2023 15:39

My "bump" goes from not there, to squidgy, to hard all in the course of a day.

Makes you laugh at all those celebrity pregnancy conspiracy theorists - they clearly have no idea about pregnant bodies! It would be far weirder if every picture of a pregnant celeb showed the same size bump.

monsteramunch · 30/04/2023 16:02

16 weeks here and got an unmistakable baby bump now.

Until about 14 weeks it could have looked like me being very bloated after a bit lunch, but now it's a definite pregnancy belly!

Having waited so very long for us to conceive, I'm really loving having a physical reminder of the fact it's finally happened for us.

I'm wondering if it will plateau for a while now or just keep getting bigger at a steady pace!

Thing to remember is everyone's different so can't really compare you or people you know and say that's the norm. Just like some women don't show at all and some gain 5 stone.

I've seen a few of these in the last couple of days... I'm eyeing up everyone's prams haha.. and they seem really low and look like toy prams but can also see they must be practical for some. Are you getting one?
