I’m 37 and pregnant with no. 2. We tried for 4 months so lucky not too long.

@A826 Yeah I have continued testing since my first BFP at 12dpo. Today is the first day I haven’t tested. I’ve got 3 more Boots tests and I’ve vowed to spread them out a bit from now. Had a lot of anxiety this week but I seem to be better today! X

Hello all! Can I join? I got my BFP on Saturday just gone, with my app showing as 4+3, with a due date of 7th Jan. I’m incredibly nervous as I had an early miscarriage in November 2022. So far, my symptoms are sore boobs, insomnia, tiredness and brain fog! I’ve also started to have the odd waves of nausea here and there but nothing crazy. I have no other children so they will be my first🤞

How are you all getting past the anxiety and waiting? It’s only been a few days and it’s so difficult to switch off and just enjoy it!

@Mushroo haha, likewise with the concentration and work. They are lucky to have us 😂 hope you manage to get some decent sleep over the next few days, the lie ins should help.

I got my positive at the weekend and have tested every day since to make sure the progress is there as this still doesn't feel real.
Flo says my due date would be 11th Jan 🥰

@Flossiepot & @LetsGo36 I also found out at the weekend with due date predicted 11th Jan! I have also been testing every day. Just cant help myself! I have a scan booked for just over 2 weeks and feel like its going to proper drag for that!

@RG9895 congratulations! Oh lovely to have a scan so early! Don’t think we will have ours until 12 weeks, going to feel like the longest 8 weeks in history I think xx

Hi to everyone new Took my second test day (14dpo) and FRER is nice and dark so am happy. Due date 12.01. Don't think I will do any more tests. EPU are seeing me at 7 weeks due to past miscarriages so that is my next milestone to get to 😬 such an anxious time!

Hii - I did a cheapy test on Monday which came back positive and then a clear blue on Tuesday which says 2-3 weeks.

Honestly did not expect to get pregnant so quickly as it took me 18+ months with DS1.

I’m so excited but oh so tired and also very spotty all of a sudden which i’m assuming down to the hormonal changes.

I’ve referred myself to the midwives. I’ve got past the stage I miscarried at which I know means absolutely nothing but it’s made me feel a bit better. I’ve had no cramping so far whereas I had a lot with the miscarriage even a few days before.

Also booked my scan for when I’ll be 7+3 which is almost exactly what I was when I saw my daughter for the first time.

How’s everyone’s symptoms? I’m at 5+1 and not really feeling much, just the odd twinge..don’t know if that’s reason to worry or not 🙈 told myself il not torture myself during this pregnancy but can’t help but have a niggling worry at the back of my mind..
also wanted to hold off getting a private scan done and waiting to 12 weeks but don’t think I can 😂

Me too ☺️ due 5th Jan xx My first baby, my partner and I are still a bit shellshocked but over the moon at the same time! We only just bought a house beginning of April and now I’m 5 weeks pregnant.. new house new baby 😅

@Twinkles18 I’m exactly the same, had sore boobs insomnia and some cramping but now occasional twinges. Keep feeling my boobs thinking are they sore or not 😂 it will probably just hit us in a week or so 😂

I've been worrying maybe I'm having too many symptoms. My stomach was cramping at the beginning of the week, now just have flutters but starting to feel quite sick too and I've been getting hot flushes. Anyone know if this is ok so early on? I do suffer with Crohn's disease so maybe it could be that effecting my symptoms? I'm so nervous about getting too excited and something going wrong 🙈😢

@Flossiepot ive been the same! Having period like cramps, hot flushes now and then and also felt sick last night and this morning so hopefully its all normal for us 🤞🏻 sometimes I think is it because we know are we over thinking everything haha im trying not to let bad thoughts enter my head. My cramps are quite strong but my lines are getting darker so hope its all okay 🙏🏼

@RG9895 ahhh I'm glad someone else is in the same boat. Yes, I've tested everyday since my positive last Sunday and they have been getting darker everyday too which I know is a good sign!
I think it's just the waiting around getting to me now feel like we're all just in limbo waiting around for scans 🤣

@Twinkles18 I’m similar in that I’ve only had boob tenderness and twinges but it’s not got any worse and I’ve had my BFP for almost a week now. Boobs just stay a tiny bit sore throughout the day but more so in the night I think. I did wake up with 3 new spots today though, spotty was my first symptom @Smile02 !

@Flossiepot the wait for the first scan is draggingggg! I’m so looking forward to it but it’s just too far away!

Sorry to bring a downer but I'm going to unwatch this thread whilst I'm in limbo. I've been having some complications and continued trickling of dark red/light brown blood/discharge. Scanned yesterday and no sign of anything. Hospital are suspecting ectopic. Just had bloods again to check if hcg has increased from 4500 from 2 days ago. Apparently their should be a gestational sac when you hit 1500hcg and all I have is a 5mm cyst "in the uterine cavity" I wish you all the best for your pregnancies. I hope I am able to come back but it will depend on results of hcg levels and follow up scan. I'm really messed up about it. We wanted this baby so much.
