I can see one for this so in my excitement thought I’d start one. Due date is 1st Jan for me 😊

I’m 37 and pregnant with no. 2. We tried for 4 months so lucky not too long.

@Flossiepot I’ve had a little spotting of dark brown blood recently. Hopefully it’s nothing. I’ve read it is common and in lots of cases everything is fine.

I don’t know if it’s the influence of these threads with everyone getting scans but I’ve booked one for Sunday. I never had any private ones for my son though I did get extra growth scans which were nice to do (especially as no issues with growth). I’ll be around 9w with scan so should see something. Good to see a lot of you were earlier and didn’t need transvaginal scans as really don’t fancy that.

Morning all,

There's been a lot to catch up on since last night! Congratulations to the new mummies in here 😊

How is everyone feeling this morning? I've been extremely emotional over the last 24 hours or so, literally crying at EVERYTHING!

Yes I'm the same! I feel like I have to force myself to eat x

Thank you for the reassurance. It has eased quite a bit now so hoping it's nothing šŸ¤žšŸ¼
Got my early scan booked in just under 2 weeks!

FreeThinker81 · 22/05/2023 10:23

Hey girlie's I might be joining u. Currently 3 weeks late feel abit light headed & I've eaten something. Buying a test later, exciting!

User22 · 22/05/2023 10:36

Hi everyone, hope it’s ok to jump on here. I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks, bleed started on April 22nd. I had been using ovulation tests from once bleeding stopped and got a positive on May 9th. I had spotting May 17th,18th,19th last week and assumed AF was on route. I did a test this morning because AF didn’t show and spotting stopped.
Pictured below is test! This surly means I’m pregnant again does it?? I can’t believe it. I have had two other miscarriages last year and it always took us 5-6 months to conceive again. So I am shook it’s happened so quickly this time!
Do lines seem dark enough for what should be 13DPO? Also, this isn’t FMU because I had to go get a test, didn’t have one at home.

Mummyme87 · 22/05/2023 10:45

That looks positive @User22 congratulations! Here’s to a healthy 9/10months

felt horrendous this morning, incredibly nauseous. Seems to have settled with toast. Need to go to the gym but seems really effortful!!

confused6789 · 22/05/2023 11:57

@Blessedmummytobe I'm the same! Not overly hungry and the thought of any food just isn't appealing- I don't feel sick though thankfully

suz2285 · 22/05/2023 12:17

Another one over here feeling nauseous, I've got to be back in the office tomorrow until Friday so eugh...

I notice I def feel better when I eat so I have to force myself to eat because nothing seems good, but also don't eat too much cos that doesn't feel good either! Can't win šŸ˜‚

Did a weeks indicator test this morning just to get an indication of hcg levels and I got 3+ so that's good, 5 + 3 weeks so I was super happy with that, even though I'm feeling so meh!

Panapan · 22/05/2023 12:44

@User22 So sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Did you get a negative after you miscarried? I ask because when I miscarried a few years ago it took a very long time to get a negative test - the tests were still showing as positive weeks after I miscarried.

I’m feeling so much more nauseous this time around and can’t focus on anything. Really struggling with work as all I want to do is curl up in bed.

Mummyme87 · 22/05/2023 12:48

@suz2285 great news on the weeks indicator tests. I got 3+ at 5+1 last week, not doing anymore testing and no more HCG either as I know it stops doubling after a period of time and it would stress me out. The nausea is enough to reassure me!! I have a repeat scan a week on Thursday so will hopefully see a heartbeat then

TunnocksTCake · 22/05/2023 12:49

So happy to see so many positive scans on here! I had originally been offered a scan at either 6+5 (this thursday) or 7+5 and I went for the latter to be sure I could see a heartbeat but youre all making me wish I'd gone for the earlier one! I shall just have to be patient.
I am feeling awful at the moment. Had to go back to bed yesterday with an awful headache, achey limbs, just really tired and heavy feeling, and the nausea is constant but worst in the mornings/ if I dont eat. So much harder this time round than with my first, though likely because I have to run around after a toddler!

buckingmad · 22/05/2023 13:03

@TunnocksTCake I think you're better off with your 7+5. I went at 6+2 this time and 7+4 with my first and there is such a huge difference in that short space of time. This time I had to really look for the little heartbeat whereas with my first it was really quite obvious, plus they're so much bigger.

I'm also finding it really tough feeling so awful with a toddler! Making her food makes me gag. I can't bear the smell of hot food. I know with my first I felt rubbish up until my 16 week appointment but I can't remember if I felt this bad the entire time or if it gradually eased. I thought I wanted 3 children but honestly I don't know if I can go through this again!

TunnocksTCake · 22/05/2023 13:28

Thanks @buckingmad yes I think I went at 6w and 7.5w with my first (I had SO may scans with her!!) and I can remember there being a huge difference, with arms and everything the second time.

Weirdly food doesnt make me feel sick at all, I can still eat everything, I just have constant nausea that gets worse the hungrier I am. Ive been trying to remember when the tiredness stopped last time but maybe it just evolves!

Sezzywoo · 22/05/2023 14:10

Brokenpancreas94 · 22/05/2023 16:22

Hi everyone, can I join? Found out that I'm pregnant last week, after trying for 6 months after having a missed miscarriage. I am around 5 weeks 3 days. Booked in for a scan on 14th June. So nervous! Xx

RG9895 · 22/05/2023 16:24

Congratulations to all the newbies! šŸŽ‰

Just had a call and got my booking appointment for 2 weeks time on the 5th of June. Pretty quick as I only referred 6 days ago! šŸ˜†

Hedgehugs · 22/05/2023 16:30

I am I believe 4 weeks 4 days. First time, been trying for a long time and was just having a rest cycle before moving onto IVF next month. Feels too good to be true!! Curious to know… if anyone did digital week tests, when did you get 3+? Was it exactly at 3 weeks or longer?

suz2285 · 22/05/2023 16:39

@Brokenpancreas94 ah I've booked my scan a few days before yours! Eee

@Hedgehugs it's not a specific time frame as such, the digital weeks counter goes on weeks since conception, so 3 + would be around 5 weeks since your last period, it depends on hcg levels though... I've just done one today and got 3+ and I'm 5 +3 today, but I know others who haven't had 3+ till later and that's totally within normal ranges too

Brokenpancreas94 · 22/05/2023 16:44

@suz2285 my diabetes consultant has booked mine, I'll be around 9 weeks xx
