I can see one for this so in my excitement thought I’d start one. Due date is 1st Jan for me 😊

I’m 37 and pregnant with no. 2. We tried for 4 months so lucky not too long.

Mine yesterday at 8 weeks was abdominal and it was fine! Made sure I had a full bladder.

im not overweight but definitely have a bit of a belly and it was fine

Mummyme87 · 21/05/2023 11:37

My EPU do all scans via TVS.

feeling very nauseous today 🤢

MrsJ6921 · 21/05/2023 11:56

I’m 6w+6 days and had my first scan this morning as we just wanted to check that baby was okay and they’re perfect and measuring exactly the same as what I had told them. I had an abdominal scan but I did have a very very full bladder

buckingmad · 21/05/2023 16:04

Scan all good! Saw a tiny heartbeat and measured 6+3 so pretty bang on date wise.

RG9895 · 21/05/2023 16:06

@suz2285 thank you!

@MrsJ6921 & @buckingmad glad both your scans went well!

Had mine this afternoon all looking good, I am a day ahead so now 6+4 and saw a tiny heartbeat 🄹🄹

Makes it feel so much more real doesn't it!

Dannic2018 · 21/05/2023 16:22

Those who are on progesterone pessaries what mg are you on? 200mg or 400mg twice a day ? Thanks

Redpanda21 · 21/05/2023 16:58

@Dannic2018 I’m on 400mg twice a day

Dannic2018 · 21/05/2023 17:16

Bugger I’ve only been doing 200mg twice a day as only realised last night it said to do 2 capsules twice a day 😩 hope it hasn’t made a negative impact

Salamander91 · 21/05/2023 18:49

Yay for great scans 😃glad all went well

Mushroo · 21/05/2023 18:59

@MrsJ6921 @buckingmad @RG9895 glad the scans went well!

cossie13 · 21/05/2023 19:18

So glad to hear everyone's scans are going well!! 😃

We made the decision to tell the in-laws today, it could not have gone any better and they've said they are at my beck and call if I need anything ā¤ļø it does feel slightly more real now that we have people we can talk to about it!

Ttcdcno1 · 21/05/2023 21:27

Glad everyone’s scans went ok! I’ve got one booked for next Sunday and I’m getting excited now 🄰still can’t step away from the test yet though šŸ˜‚6w+2 today for me

lucya66 · 21/05/2023 21:53

I’ve booked a private scan for Friday when I’ll be 8w6d

Looking forward to it and hoping to see something.

I’ve been so meh with morning sickness and how much I’m having to eat. I need some encouragement from a scan.

Niam4 · 21/05/2023 21:54

Hi I was just wondering if anyone else has had issues with there bp since getting pregnant? I took mine this evening and it’s 90/66 after a few lower readings. I usually would have a bp around 110/80. Although I was actually hypertensive when seeing the GP the other day however I was really nervous about that appt and feel it may have been a case of white coat syndrome

CaptainMuddle · 21/05/2023 21:58

BFP yesterday, this is my first! Had be TTC for 7 months. So excited, but have LLETZ, genetics and clotting risks so need to see GP and get those referrals booked in!

tulipsunday · 21/05/2023 22:31

@cossie13 aw that's lovely I can't wait to tell our family xx

Blessedmummytobe · 21/05/2023 22:45

Is anyone eating less?

I definately am…strange x

Bimbley · 21/05/2023 23:22

Hi ladies
Bit late to the party but just found out I'm pregnant with DC2 after about 5 months of trying 😃Due date currently Jan 24th.
Have a lovely DS who is nearly 2 and so excited to grow our little family!!
Also slightly terrified after a very rare and traumatic complication with DS1 but so far excitement is winning over fear!!

Flossiepot · 22/05/2023 06:03

Morning all, I had a bit of bloody discharge when I wiped this morning. 6+4 - has anyone else had this/ know if this is normal!?

Mummyme87 · 22/05/2023 07:11

@Bimbley congratulations!

@Flossiepot it can be normal to have spotting in early pregnancy. Was it fresh blood?

I haven’t been eating any differently and have put on 6lb in a week. What the?!?!? I’m hoping it’s just fluid retention and rapidly comes back off!!!

Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese · 22/05/2023 07:25

Welcome @Bimbley and congrats!!

@Flossiepot like mummy said, it's entirely normal to spot, but if you're concerned contact your epu, they're there to help.

I've only been eating less because of this cough I can't seem to shift, I choked on a jam sandwich (of all things) last week and scratched the back of my throat, but I think it's developed into a cold as my nose is all stuffy too now. Haven't weighed myself, haven't in about a year, not sure I want to to be honest 🤣

Mushroo · 22/05/2023 07:50

@Bimbley congrats!

@Mummyme87 I’ve had no food aversions or sickness but have been starving all the time so I’m avoiding the scales! Dread to think how much weight I’ve already put on, my boobs alone seem to have tripled in size (and they were hefty to start!) šŸ˜‚

Flossiepot · 22/05/2023 08:06

Thank you Ladies, it was a rust colour mixed in with my discharge. Hoping it's nothing, will monitor and contact the professionals if anything progresses.

lucya66 · 22/05/2023 08:58

@Niam4 I had my bp taken by the midwife and she said it was low. She said that it’s common in the first trimester and to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. I’m struggling to get water down due to the nausea.

buckingmad · 22/05/2023 09:38

@lucya66 I'm normally a big water drinker but have really been struggling. I tried some sparking water with a dash of elderflower yesterday and that really helped.
