I can see one for this so in my excitement thought I’d start one. Due date is 1st Jan for me 😊

I’m 37 and pregnant with no. 2. We tried for 4 months so lucky not too long.

Hopealive · 14/05/2023 18:05

Thanks

Mummyme87 · 14/05/2023 18:06

@Hopealive I’m still taking conceive plus just to finish the pack. I’ll be taking 5mg folic acid and not sure about what else, either a pregnancy supplement or just vit d on top

Hopealive · 14/05/2023 18:09

@Mummyme87 yes I was taking folic acid preconception which i am still taking just don’t know what to switch to now. Maybe I will go with @RG9895 and take pregnacare max

Sambeaumont · 14/05/2023 18:11

Anyone had any ovary pain?? Xx

ThomasinaLivesHere · 14/05/2023 18:19

I’m on pregnacare max although tablets aren’t the friendliest if you’re feeling sick. Luckily I’m not like that all day so just wait until it subsides to take pills.

Hi everyone, newbie here! Congratulations to you all 🄰
I found out I was pregnant 4 days ago at 11dpo. I'm 4+2 weeks and still quite in shock as this was mine and my husband's first and only time of having unprotected sex! We're both so happy and excited but the realisation is now kicking in for me that there is so much to learn and prepare for! We always wanted children but hadn't thought it would be happening this year haha! Does anyone else relate or know where to even begin with preparing? šŸ˜…

sashastuck · 14/05/2023 18:43

Same as @RG9895 I’m on Pregnacare Plus but am moving onto Max next pack.

@Sambeaumont I don’t think so but today I’ve had twinges on both sides (mainly left) which could be around the ovaries area. I wondered if things were stretching around my hips or if it was ovaries! Are you in a lot of pain, is that something worth calling GP/EPU about? (I’ve got no idea but someone else might be able to say) X

Panapan · 14/05/2023 18:49

Definitely feeling sick now (6+4) - bad smells are a killer at the moment (food waste bin, toddler nappies etc!). Finding life pretty exhausting too!
Thankfully my breasts aren’t too tender as I’m still feeding my 20 month old.
Interested that the process seems to be so different in different areas - this is the 4th different hospital I’ve been under and just had a message from a midwife to plan my booking in visit at home. Previously they’ve been at hospital or the GP but never at home - feels rather luxurious!!

Sambeaumont · 14/05/2023 18:59

@sashastuck thank you for replying.
I wouldnt say its really painful just twinges. Yeah I may give my gp a call tommorow and see what they say. Hopefully all is OK. I'm only 4+3 so not sure much can be checked really xx

Mummyme87 · 14/05/2023 19:16

@Sambeaumont yes I’ve had loads of painful twinges, particularly from 10dpo until 13dpo

suz2285 · 14/05/2023 19:26

@Sambeaumont not ovary pain as such but definitely odd pulling, twitching and sharp pains randomly... all normal I think! šŸ˜‚

Sambeaumont · 14/05/2023 19:39

@Mummyme87 @suz2285 thank you. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Everything is such a worry xx

WitcheryDivine · 14/05/2023 20:18

I’m also 6.4 and seem to alternate between slightly queasy and ravenous.

the twinges sound familiar, it’s weird because it does have that momentary feel of being like the feelings you get around your period.

Blessedmummytobe · 14/05/2023 20:36

Hi all. Hope everyone is doing well. I still have little to no symptoms…apart from nipples being a bit tender. I have had some crampy feelings similar to what @WitcheryDivine described. They worried me but I thought it’s just my baby growing rather than something to worry about. I’m 6+3 today so still early. Haven’t told anyone yet and quite enjoying keeping it to myself ha x

LetsGo36 · 15/05/2023 06:22

@94madame congratulations!! X

DearSam48 · 15/05/2023 07:22

Hello all, I'm really struggling with my morning sickness. I've tried crackers before getting out of bed, small snacky meals instead of normal meals but I'm just constantly nauseas and vomiting. Last night was the worst. I was sick 4 times between 1am and 6am :/ I'm exhausted and have no idea how to cope with this. At what point should I call a doctor?

Bims2019 · 15/05/2023 07:44

@DearSam48 sorry your morning sickness has been that bad, it sounds really hard and no wonder you're exhausted. I would say call your GP now, they might be able to prescribe you something that helps!

lucya66 · 15/05/2023 08:23

@DearSam48 sorry you’re so poorly. I would ring the doctor/ midwife as they advise to do so if you can’t keep food down.

I’ve had nausea for a week (I’m 7w2d) but not actually vomited yet. Just burps and feel constantly sick. Also smells and the thought of some food really turns my tummy

buckingmad · 15/05/2023 09:15

@DearSam48 definitely no harm in speaking to your GP.

I've had my first (at 5+3) of what will be many vomiting sessions if it's anything like my last pregnancy. Bent down this morning and it literally rose up into my mouth, so gross! Just 11 weeks to go till I feel normal if it's the same as with my daughter 😫

TunnocksTCake · 15/05/2023 09:43

@DearSam48 you poor thing that sounds awful. I think that is fairly extreme so I would go to drs now for some sickness meds. Can you keep down water?
I am 5+ 4 and feeling constantly queasy but no vomiting yet. Feels worse than last time.
Has anyone had lower back pain past missed period? I know its common around implantation and I had it bad then too but its come back with a vengeance and nothing seems to make it better. Its making me nervous but symptoms still strong so trying to keep my reasonable head on.
I still havent registred with midwives... feel like its tempting fate!

tulipsunday · 15/05/2023 10:15

Yep @TunnocksTCake still constant lower back and hip aches. Not too concerned though as also got other more usual symptoms. Is annoying though isn't it x

DearSam48 · 15/05/2023 10:17

Thanks everyone. I've spoken to the doctor today and been prescribed cyclizine which I'll pick up this afternoon. I'm really hoping it helps, he's said if my sickness continues they'll look into other treatments so that makes me feel better. I didn't want to be just left to cope with this!

Mushroo · 15/05/2023 10:17

I’ve caved and booked a scan for Saturday when I’ll be 8 weeks! Excited but nervous.

Ive mainly booked it as I don’t really have any symptoms other than being tired and having massive boobs!

Forest27 · 15/05/2023 10:36

Hi everyone! I’ve just found out I’m pregnant! I have a 20 month old and feel like I’ve forgotten what pregnancy is like. Every twinge has me on edge šŸ™ˆ
