I can see one for this so in my excitement thought I’d start one. Due date is 1st Jan for me 😊

I’m 37 and pregnant with no. 2. We tried for 4 months so lucky not too long.

@Smile02 i hear you on the long wait time for appointments. That’s good you were able to get an earlier scan. Managed to book my first midwife appointment which we are both excited for. I’m experiencing tiredness, frequent urination and sore boobs. No morning sickness yet. Only found out I was yesterday which was surreal. Just want to get through the 12 weeks.

Sambeaumont · 12/05/2023 11:48

I have nausea already. I'm only 4+1. Hoping its a good sign after I miscarried in Jan xx

WitcheryDivine · 12/05/2023 12:08

Tentatively sticking a toe in here, I lost a baby last year - MMC discovered at the 12 week scan. This is my first pregnancy since so I'm understandably quite paranoid. Trying not to download any apps or really think about it constantly this time, but I'm theoretically due on 1st Jan so wanted to say hi. Congrats to all in the same boat x

ThomasinaLivesHere · 12/05/2023 13:01

@WitcheryDivine Congrats! Sorry you went through that. Sounds awful. Best wishes for you going forward.

I'm back! I went away for just over a week with a suspected ectopic with rising hcg but nothing on an ultrasound scan at 5 weeks. No gestational sac/yolk sac/baby. I've just come back from a follow up scan to find baby with a heartbeat measuring 4mm! I'm so blessed. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I'm elated!

ThomasinaLivesHere · 12/05/2023 13:52

@Vikki7 Wow! Excellent news! You must be so happy 🄳

JaffaCake123 · 12/05/2023 14:38

Can I join please? I got my bfp a couple of days ago and am due 18th Jan, this will be dc#2. I am telling my partner tonight šŸ™‚

A826 · 12/05/2023 14:51

Massive congratulations @WitcheryDivine @JaffaCake123 . Best wishes for this pregnancy! X

@Vikki7 that’s beautiful news, you must be over the moon! So happy for you. X

This is a TMI question but is anyone else having way more discharge? Definitely not thrush or anything but just a lot of creamy/white discharge in the afternoons and evenings. I know it’s normal but there’s nothing like hearing someone else say ā€œme tooā€ !

youaremysunshine03 · 12/05/2023 15:08

@Vikki7 amazing news 🄳

@sashastuck yes! Exactly as you’ve described. The amount of times I’ve rushed to the toilet worried I’m bleeding is ridiculous.

Cheebs · 12/05/2023 15:09

@sashastuck

I haven't been having all that much to be honest and keep worrying as was expecting from everything I've read so far

WitcheryDivine · 12/05/2023 15:11

Thanks @sashastuck and @ThomasinaLivesHere

And yes me too - and me too to rushing to the toilet! I did google and it sounds normal thankfully.

Not really feeling sick yet (although I did nearly throw up when cleaning my teeth, totally out of the blue) more just the stomach acid, Rennies are my best friends at the moment!

Mushroo · 12/05/2023 15:13

@sashastuck @youaremysunshine03 so much discharge! TMI my pants are so milky white at the end of the day.

Also doing the rush to bathroom with worry routine!

Mummyme87 · 12/05/2023 16:43

@sashastuck I’m not getting white discharge, although that’s totally normal, I’m getting lots of mucousy discharge which I remember from my youngest

buckingmad · 12/05/2023 17:48

I forgot how ridiculous the bloating is. I actually look about 4 months pregnant from bloat. Especially by the end of the day. I remember kiwi helping before so going to try that again!

impatiently waiting for midwife to get in touch. It’s been a week! By my LMP I’m 6 weeks but I know I ovulate a week later so am really only 5. My local hospital says they do booking in appointment before 8 weeks so I should have it within 2 weeks! They need to get a wriggle on and get back to me.

suz2285 · 12/05/2023 17:52

Lol I'm right there with the rushing to the toilet crew thinking something is up! šŸ˜‚

Anyone ever do the 21 progesterone test? I did this cycle before my bfp and it came back really low, to the point they said they didn't know if I'd ovulated, though obviously I did! Now I'm worried my progesterone is too low

GP not interested as I'm not under the care of any senior maternity unit or recurrent miscarriage unit (I've had one MC)

Reading mixed stories online of nothing to worry about your body will ramp up progesterone production vs low progesterone being a reason for recurrent pregnancy loss.... so I'm not sure what to do tbh!

Anyone any experience??

suz2285 · 12/05/2023 17:53

That should say day 21 progesterone test, the one you take 7 days after ovulation.

xLJ1990x · 12/05/2023 17:56

Hello! I've had a couple of early positives this week but it's still early days as I'm only 13 dpo.

So excited though! Think I've already had a touch of morning sickness already. Did anyone else get it this early?

Sottishmamaof4 · 12/05/2023 17:56

Hi, bit late to join but due 10th Jan by my dates, will be number 5 for me and my hubby 🤭 my oldest daughter passed away from cancer last April so this little bean is a much welcomed blessing šŸ˜

sashastuck · 12/05/2023 18:36

Thanks for the reassurance everyone haha! @Cheebs I wouldn’t worry too much, there have been a couple of days where I’ve had nothing. Bet there’s so much variation in what’s normal!

@xLJ1990x @Sottishmamaof4 congratulations to both of you. So so sorry to hear about your eldest daughter.šŸ’ā¤

First craving today: salt and vinegar crisps! Didn’t have time to get some in my lunch break and I must have sounded desperate as my friend gave me hers šŸ˜‚first thing I did before getting home is run out to get more!

tulipsunday · 12/05/2023 20:37

Ah brilliant! Salt and vinegar crisps are the bomb 😊 I never experienced cravings or food aversions with my son so wondering if I will with this one. 5wks today and hints of nausea when I get hungry but not much.
