I can see one for this so in my excitement thought I’d start one. Due date is 1st Jan for me 😊

I’m 37 and pregnant with no. 2. We tried for 4 months so lucky not too long.

@Babydustthisyear I'm 5+6 and feeling bloated too. Symptoms so far are occasionally sore boobs, either starving or nauseous and reflux which I have anyway. Also a bit more emotional than usual.

Mummyme87 · 09/05/2023 20:08

@outinthesun frer are very sensitive, 6miu and clear blue digital less sensitive.. depends which you used, early detection 10miu and the others 25miu

BabyAR · 09/05/2023 20:30

Hello, thank you for checking. Sadly it’s not great news.

Nothingisblackandwhite · 09/05/2023 20:42

Hi šŸ‘‹ we are due I think 13 to the 19 of January . I’m just 4 weeks . I’m 41 and this is my 4 th baby . A complete surprise as I assumed I was peri menopausal . I’m still in shock . I found out 4 days ago , I’m very paranoid and been testing every day . I got my 2-3 on a ckearblue today , my period would be due tomorrow

Mushroo · 09/05/2023 20:45

@BabyAR I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope you’ve got plenty of real life support, but we’re all here if you want to chat as well. Thinking of you xx

Ttcdcno1 · 09/05/2023 20:57

Sorry to hear that @BabyAR 😢

sashastuck · 09/05/2023 21:03

Thank you for clarity @Mummyme87! Yeah, all different locations. This means I’m going to have to tell work 😫

@BabyAR I’m so sorry you got bad news. Sending you loads of love xxx

TunnocksTCake · 09/05/2023 21:35

So sorry @BabyAR take care of yourself x

Lilothblos · 10/05/2023 05:52

@Nothingisblackandwhite congratulations and welcome!

Is anyone using any pregnancy tracking apps that they would recommend?

LetsGo36 · 10/05/2023 05:56

@BabyAR im so sorry xx

@Lilothblos i used Flo when TTC and then updated it when I got pregnant and seems to be really good so far, lots of information xx

Mummyme87 · 10/05/2023 06:07

@Nothingisblackandwhite congratulations. We are similar, AF due here today also. Will be due 18-20th Jan, this is my 3rd baby though ā˜ŗļø

sashastuck · 10/05/2023 06:47

@Nothingisblackandwhite massive congratulations to you and anyone I might have missed! Xx

I got my dye stealer on a Boots test today!

Lilothblos · 10/05/2023 06:54

Thanks @LetsGo36 I’ll give the Flo app a go!

Great news @sashastuck ! How many days in are you?

sashastuck · 10/05/2023 07:14

@Lilothblos I also use Flo and have always found it quite predictable! I’m 5+1 x

Mummyme87 · 10/05/2023 08:07

@sashastuck that’s fab news! So great to see!! I did a frer today and fab line progression, not quite a dye stealer yet, but don’t feel it’s too close off. I’m buying more tests today, will get a weeks indicator I think for tomorrow and some more boots pink dye. Maybe once I’ve had a good HCG rise I might relax a bit?

I’m going to contact GP today about getting higher dose of folic acid (bmi over 30)

TrudyProud · 10/05/2023 08:31

@sashastuck what's your due date? The website I went on said I'm 4W6D and I had my dye stealer at 4W3D which seems early so I'm not sure if they are calculating dates correctly .
My DD is 9th Jan

LetsGo36 · 10/05/2023 08:53

Think I will stop testing now…looks like a dye stealer to me this morning

Due January 2024 šŸŽ‰
Mummyme87 · 10/05/2023 09:17

@TrudyProud I’ve got a range of due dates depending on which website I use. Dye stealers will happen for different people at different times, the earlier you implant the earlier the dye stealer.

I need to go to the gym, but I’ve just become really anxious about it. I normally walk/run for 25mins, use the bike for a bit and then Half an hour of weight training… I know it’s fine to continue but 😬 anxiety

Mummyme87 · 10/05/2023 09:17

@LetsGo36 definitely a dye stealer ā™„ļøā™„ļø can’t wait to get one

buckingmad · 10/05/2023 10:46

@Mummyme87 I rode my horse till I was 12 weeks pregnant. I went for a good gallop before I even knew I was pregnant and jumped so my daughter was thrown around all over the place šŸ˜‚I'll do the same with this pregnancy and may even ride longer (last time was covid lockdown and middle of winter so I couldn't be bothered).

It's a personal decision but I personally found keeping fit during pregnancy really helped me. I'm convinced it's what made my c section recovery really easy too (I took the dog and baby for a 6km walk about 5 days after my emergency c section šŸ˜‚).

sashastuck · 10/05/2023 11:18

@Mummyme87 thank you! Sounds like your dye stealer is coming!! I’m feeling the same about gym and exercise. I’d usually lift weights but feel uncomfortable about doing that now. I think I shall jog and/or cycle and try to do lots of walking. X

@TrudyProud my due date is 10th Jan going by Flo but another app says 8th. Today is my first test in almost a week so I could have had a strong test before and not known about it! Yours sounds great, an early dye stealer is super reassuring x

Mummyme87 · 10/05/2023 11:20

@buckingmad yes exercise is something I wasn’t great about in previous pregnancies, I get really bad pelvic pain quite early and always enormous bump which appears rapidly. But I’m keen to try this time. At the gym now resting between weights. Just taking it easy

buckingmad · 10/05/2023 11:23

@Mummyme87 any pregnancy pilates classes near you? Or even a normal pilates class - just let them know you're pregnant as later on you don't want to be doing anything ab heavy or on your back. I suffered with PGP and back pain in my last pregnancy and that plus physio helped loads.

Mummyme87 · 10/05/2023 11:26

@buckingmad I go to David Lloyd gym and they have loads of classes. Need to look and see if they have Pilates. I looked for pregnancy yoga but can’t seem to see much arou d

buckingmad · 10/05/2023 11:32

@Mummyme87 I've not tried pregnancy yoga but do pilates anyway even when not pregnant. It's so good to keep doing as you get bigger. You body goes all stretchy and pilates helps keep on top of it and keep your core strong and hold yourself together better.

Only downside is my core was so strong they struggled to get my epidural in. Luckily I was so high on pethidine at the time I couldn't have even told you my name so didn't feel itšŸ˜‚
