Anyone else 5 to 6 weeks pregnant?

Hi everyone. I am currently 5.6 weeks pregnant and I would be curious to know what your symptoms are (were) during the same period. So far I've had a metallic taste in my mouth since 12dpo which is now very much fading away and breast soreness that fluctuates so much within the course of the day driving me insane. I am also a little tired but nothing excessive. I would welcome more symptoms as it would feel a bit more reassuring. What is (was) your experience?
I have an early scan in exactly a week and the wait has been excruciating 😆

This is my fourth pregnancy in 4 years. Two successful pregnancies and one between the successful pregnancies which ended in miscarriage. I have always found out early around 10/11DPO and got a dye stealer at 15DPO and had nausea straight away. Should I be concerned I did not find out until 14DPO (was light) and still no dye stealer at 18DPO. I’m worried I also have no symptoms. Should I be preparing myself for the worst?

@Cocoboba To be fair I don't see anything concerning from your tests alone? It clearly shows a strong evolution so I would not worry about that. Why don't you have some blood test to see how your hcg is doing?

So my GP is beyond unhelpful and said they won’t do any bloods when I am not experiencing any “misscarriage symptoms” and that the bloods take 7-10 days to come back so I would be left wondering for a long time anyway.
agree the tests show evolution. I would just expect the tests to be darker for 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I think the lack of symptoms and dye stealer has just got my mind playing tricks on me. When looking online seems to be a big mix of outcomes when you haven’t got a dye stealer by 20dpo. I would just presume this pregnancy to be the same as my other 3!

@Cocoboba I am no expert obviously but 4 weeks 4 days is still very early. They are getting darker not lighter and you don't have miscarriage symptoms so so far, I don't think you should panic.

My sickness started at around 6 weeks, before then it was just sore boobs, sore gums and loads of cm🤣 good luck for your scan next week☺️

I am 5 weeks and 4 days :))))
My cramping and twinges have calmed down a bit last couple days but my boobs are rock hard and agony lol since yesterday.
They were tender since yesterday agony and hard lol
No sickness as yet though I reckon will start when I hit 6 weeks 😬

@Lillybobs86 yes I have also had mild cramps and twinges since I got my bfp and hope it will subside soon!! My boobs aren't rock hard and the soreness fluctuates too much for my liking!

I'm 7+1. I had some nausea, headaches, sore boobs etc when I first found out around 4 weeks. 2 hour accidental naps. Then everything disappeared for about a week and a half, and I started to get concerned. Then I woke up on Friday and I am ILL. I've averaged about 2 slices of toast a day since then, it's all I can keep down. My DH made my favourite curry, I vomitted as soon as the kitchen door opened and the smell hit me. I then had to ask him between retching to go change his clothes because I've also turned into a bloodhound and the smell of the curry on him while he rubbed my back was making me feel worse. Everything tastes different as well, so even if I'm like 'mmm I fancy x', when x is procured it's not right and I throw it back up 🙈.

I'm estimating that I'm 7+5. No real symptoms to speak of but that doesn't worry me, I had hardly any symptoms during my last pregnancy either.

Congrats! My first time posting and I’ve finally got a bfp after 18months ttc! Still can’t believe it tbh! Literally the month we started to meet with fertility doc ha.

I’ve been cramping for about a week or so, my boobs are sore which fluctuates to really sore and slight nausea in the afternoons.

I’m so unsure what to expect over next few weeks as know everyone is so different!

Hiya, I am 5.5 weeks today. I had a chemical last month, so an anxious time at the moment and I’m a little reluctant to celebrate just yet. Symptoms have mainly been a metalic mouth taste, but that’s subsided a bit this week. Sore boobs, but that isn’t as bad in the morning and progresses through the day. Gassy, constipated, and nauseous when I'm hungry.

@FlyingHighFlyingLow It must have been the longest week and a half when symptoms stopped!! How did you cope? Despite the fact that you feel really rough at least it shows it is progressing nicely! Tomorrow I will be starting week 6, let's see whether I will get new symptoms but I hope you feel better soon!!

@shivawn It is my first time being pregnant and so far to be honest I don't really feel pregnant but it is still quite early I guess. All these years of TTC and all the stress linked to it, I never realised that early pregnancy was actually worse in terms of stress 😝

@Firsttimebfp1 Thanks! Congrats to you too! I have a similar story somehow. We've been trying for a couple of years and were ready to start talking to IVF clinics abroad. I was starting to have second thoughts about IVF and how I would cope with it so I am really hoping this one will stick!!
The symptom fluctuations are what drives me insane as every time it calms down a bit, I start worrying. I had mild cramping and and some sharp twinges but this seems to have calmed down in the last couple of days. Best of luck to all of us with our pregnancies!

@GlitterDragon I understand your anxiety because of your chemical last month but I have read in many places that you tend to be more fertile in the months following a chemical 😊
I haven't celebrated yet that I am pregnant, I just stay cautious and wait a bit until the risk goes down.
The metallic taste was sort of constant to start with and now it comes and goes. The boob thing tends to do the same with me, it is more intense in the evening, and don't get me started with the gassiness and bloating 😂

I'm 6 weeks. Cramping for about 10 days so far (like my periods coming!) also some mild spotting pink/brown. Headaches most days. No other symptoms!

I have a 10 month old - exactly the same symptoms so far!

I’m 5 weeks and 6 days. I’ve got sore boobs, feel very emotional and ready, and nausea at the thought of taking my vitamins or Gaviscon.

I didn’t have any nausea really with my first, nor was I on an emotional rollercoaster! I just felt exhausted. I do feel a bit ropey, like I’ve got a virus but, I don’t.

I'm currently 6 weeks today. Haven't felt many symptoms, besides sore nippes, very tired. Today I've felt slightly nauseas all day. Have got an early scan booked for when I'm 7 weeks 3 days. Feeling anxious everyday. Anyone else? Unfortunately I'm a glass half empty kind of girl, but I'm trying to be positive. This is my first pregnancy.

I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and this is the first day I've had waves of nausea all day 😷 🤢
With my daughter it hit me exactly on 6 weeks and lasted till week 12!
I was literally surviving on sips of water and a couple of plain crisps a day 🙈

@ChaE05 I know the feeling, I'm also half glass empty kind of girl so this is very hard to convince myself that it will be ok. I felt a bit queasy this morning but it was mild so don't whether I can call that a symptom. I will be 6+5 weeks when I have the early scan, I just hope it's not too early..

Yes I know what you mean mine has been mild also and hasn't stopped me eating. I think you should be fine at 6+5 from what I've read. How far along are you? I come to these forums to get some reassurance but unfortunately read alot of the bad stuff too which doesn't help at all. But I can't stop myself looking 🙈

@Lillybobs86 oh no! I hope it doesn't get you bad like that again! Hopefully not as it seems to be every pregnancy is different. Cant believe I'm hoping for some sickness to make it all seems real lol x

Hi everyone 👋 Good to read through all of your experiences and to know I'm not the only one feeling nervous!I'm 5+2 pregnant,although it's hard to know for sure re dates as last month I had a CP.Just hoping that this one sticks and is healthy 🙏 I've had sore/tender nipples on and off but seems to have subsided in the last couple of days.Ive also been gassy, had more CM and emotionally up and down.A couple of very short bouts of nausea but hardly noticeable.All the symptoms ive listed feel very mild which is worrying me.I keep trying to tell myself and reading that it's normal for some women to not have many symptoms or for symptoms to fluctuate,especially this early,but it feels like such an long wait to see a heartbeat on the 1st scan.I'm going to have a private scan at 9 weeks to put my mind at ease hopefully!Sending you all good vibes 😊 Laura x

I'm 5 weeks 3 days and have insomnia, waves of nausea , sore and heavy boobs and lots of dizzy spells.
Not being able to sleep is the worst, I'm normally an 8hours plus person but am averaging 6
First pregnancy , my scan is 3 weeks today , I'm trying to stay positive as I have quite strong symptoms but won't calm until I've had the scan.

@Itonlytakesaminute is that an NHS scan in 3 weeks? They booked mine in for 12 weeks.
