@PeopleAreToads mine is 29th May. They gave me the date when I went for my 12 week scan. I'm in Ireland though so systems a bit different here.

Summer022 · 15/04/2023 14:11

@OrionNebula @PeopleAreToads Same here, they printed out the appointment for me straight after my 12 week scan.

PeopleAreToads · 15/04/2023 14:15

@Summer022 mine was the same, it's the letter with the second appointment straight after that has me a bit worried! I'll speak to the midwife when I see her

ali2021 · 15/04/2023 15:08

Hi all! Hope everyone is well. I know nothing really about nub/skull theory, but anyone like to hazard a guess about baby's gender? Scan done yest at 13+5. Apologies if it's not possible to read on this scan ; as I said - I know nothing about it! Just for fun. Thanks in advance for any guesses.😁

@katherine123x same here, my wardrobe is getting extremely limited and I really don't want to switch into maternity clothes yet! It's the annoying in between phase, I don't look pregnant, just fat!

SillyOldBear3 · 15/04/2023 15:48

@PeopleAreToads my 20 week scan appointment letter came through today, for 30th May. No consultant appointment is mentioned on mine but I imagine all health boards do things differently.

DancingNancies · 15/04/2023 16:13

@PeopleAreToads I had consultant appointments with my last pregnancy and the letter came through separately from the scan, all appointments were a short while (maybe half an hour) after my scans. They've told me I might need consultant appointments this time round too, but they'll likely send me for one and if everything's fine I won't need another.

Hopefulx · 15/04/2023 16:27

@PeopleAreToads I received my 20 week scan today in the post (9 days after my 12 week scan). It arrived with my combined test risk letter too. For those who are still waiting my letter came through 9 days after my 12 week scan.

@OrionNebula my 20 week scan is also 29th May - scan twins 😂💞

Hopefulx · 15/04/2023 16:29

@ali2021 i am terrible with the nub theory! But just wanted to say beautiful scan pic 🫶🏼

OrionNebula · 15/04/2023 16:48

@Hopefulx seems ages away doesn't it? I've booked another private scan for Tuesday, prob a waste of money but can't shake this anxious feeling! I didn't have this last time, must be because I am that bit older.

Cammy23 · 15/04/2023 17:16

@NSx since my last post about being cold I have actually decided I'm going to contact the doctors on Monday as I think I could be anemic. It wasn't really to do with the cold but I have since read it can also be one of the symptoms. My main symptoms are fatigue, paleness, weird heart/chest feelings (maybe palpitations) every so often. I thought they were just pregnancy symptoms but now I'm not so sure. I just thought I would mention in case you also had these issues.

NSx · 15/04/2023 18:56

@monsteramunch I don’t know what is worse, being freezing all the time or roasting 😂😂😂 it’s so annoying. Hope ur ok apart from that 💓

@EMcG3 it’s defo not them it’s us, as the thermostat in my house hasn’t changed 😂😂😂 I googled it and it says it’s absolutely normal though 🤍

@Cammy23 I’ve had bloods taken and my iron levels etc are all normal so I don’t know x x

Hopefulx · 15/04/2023 19:02

@OrionNebula good luck with your private scan on Tuesday. How far will you be?

I’ve booked a gender scan at 16weeks in 2 weeks but that still feels ages away!

OrionNebula · 15/04/2023 19:16

@Hopefulx thanks! I will be 15 weeks. We already know we are having a girl as we did NIPT. I haven't got a particular reason for this scan other than reassurance.

Smiffette · 15/04/2023 20:08

I had my rescan yesterday after unsuccessfully getting the neck measurement on Wednesday. Was nice to see baby again and they did get it this time thankfully!

My DD changed by one day so now 17.10.23

I booked my 20 weeks scan at the same time, so that's 1st June! Early morning one this time thankfully.

Feels so far away though! I do have a private gender scan a few weeks before though

MeganC104 · 15/04/2023 21:19

@Cammy23 I've had this plus craving red meat. I up'd my iron intake as it was very poor and going to see how it goes before contacting doctor

lostfrequencies · 16/04/2023 07:23

Hi everyone, first post on this thread for me. I am 13w 1d, had my dating scan last week. We have been TTC number 2 for a few years now and still can't quite believe it. 6 year old big brother was told yesterday and he is so excited!

blahblahblah1654 · 16/04/2023 07:34

Is anyone else still exhausted? I'm 13 weeks now and more tired than ever! Slept 10-8 on Friday night and needed a nap from 2-5 in the afternoon! Also my sense of smell is going wild right now. I couldn't have the cat anywhere near me as I thought she smelled really bad.

overgrowngrass · 16/04/2023 07:36

Welcome @lostfrequencies and congratulations 🥰

@blahblahblah1654 I’m 13 weeks tomorrow and still tired and nauseous! You’re not alone x

HVHT · 16/04/2023 08:21

Is anyone else torn about finding out gender?
I always said I wouldn’t before I was pregnant and now I am, I don’t think I have the willpower to wait. I see pros to both sides and change my mind about 5 times a day 😅

NSx · 16/04/2023 08:36

@HVHT I’m not finding out even though I would love to. My sister in law said not finding out made labour easier as you’re so excited and eager to find out if it’s a girl or boy that it really helps & it’s really stuck with me 😂 so I’m holding out. And I also feel when you eventually give birth, people are more eager to know too 😂😂😂 when you already know if it’s a girl or boy, it’s not as exciting (in my opinion, I know other people will feel differently)
However I guess finding out helps with preparing and you can get more organised with your clothes, nursery etc 🤍

Alexandra07 · 16/04/2023 08:36

@lostfrequencies Congratulations! My DD is 5 and also took us long to conceive second one! Hard to believe it's actually happening!

@HVHT I will definitely find the sex! It will be so hard to find two names not knowing what we have 😂

Saturnsmoon · 16/04/2023 09:21

@HVHT i’m in the same boat, have always said I wouldn’t find out but now I’m actually pregnant I’m more open to finding out prebirth than I imagined I would be. At the moment we are still waiting for test results to confirm baby is healthy and no chromosomal issues so that’s obviously the priority but if all goes well I might decide to find out at 20 weeks although I kind of agree with @NSx’s points too 🙃

Jealousofchiliheeler · 16/04/2023 09:29

We will find out gender. We did last one around and it made it easier because all family assumed we would (without actually asking) and otherwise we'd have had to repeatedly have the conversation about why not. Also it made it feel a bit more real and easier to mentally prepare, less so for buying clothes, I actually prefer the more unisex clothes for newborns and if I could have avoided telling family without creating even more drama I might have because I got overly gendered clothes I didn't much like.
This time we will do so again, in part because I think it will make it easier for DC to get used to the idea of either baby brother or baby sister.

LWestYorks · 16/04/2023 09:40

Morning ladies! I’m 14+6 and for the last couple of weeks getting very light pink discharge when I wipe, not everyday and not all day…it’s very random! I’ve got no other symptoms pains etc.

Anyone else had/having this? I’m very worried when it happens 😩
