I haven't seen one of these yet for December so thought I'd start one!

I'm due 1st December with hopefully a little rainbow.
I'm on cyclogest because I had 2 losses in the latter end of last year (October and december) at 6 weeks and 10 weeks.

Fingers crossed for lots of December babies!

Thank you @TTCing 😊

It’s helpful to hear others are feeling the same things. My symptoms have been coming and going too and it’s a real rollercoaster of emotions! @HannahLouD I know it’s really tough when you worry the same things are going to happen again but your lines look really good to me! The private scans don’t seem to show as much as the NHS ones in my experience but I completely understand you’re wanting to get reassurance/know what’s going on. ❤️

Hi all, I am 6 weeks tomorrow so due start of December but I am having huge anxiety due to loss of symptoms and brown discharge 3 days ago. I stupidly booked a private scan even though I thought it was too early and they saw the g sac and y sac but nothing else so I am thinking the worse. Pregnancy is hard before it’s even really started!!! I am just praying for a miracle.

Hi Emily.

Please try not to worry. That all looks on track for your dates!
Have they rebooked you?

PhyllisVance23 · 10/04/2023 21:07

@Emilyj13 an ultrasound will only show the sac that early - don't fret! If you had a transvaginal it would show the little heartbeat flicker. They probably only did an ultrasound to make sure it wasn't an ectopic.

Don't worry about the brown discharge. 1/3 women will have some kind of spotting during pregnancy, esp early. xx (I'm spotting too!)

Hi, it was a transvaginal and no Fetal pole as of yet.
I would have been 5 weeks 5 days, is that normal at that stage?

Rainbowdust557 · 10/04/2023 21:21

Hi @Emilyj13 I would say so. I had one that showed the same for that timing and then an NHS one that showed a fetal pole. It can be hard to be exact with the dates and I think it's quite hard for them to see so early on so see what the next couple of weeks bring. x

Thank you! And the discharge and loss of symptoms are quite normal for 6 weeks?

PhyllisVance23 · 10/04/2023 21:26

It can be, absolutely. Are you positive on your dates too? You could be a few days out too. I had a heart beat flicker at 5+6 I think, but I was deffo that as I was under ARU so they knew the exact date I ovulated. Most people are out by a day or two. And some implant later than others. You can only really be sure if you're monitored x

I only started spotting today, at 6 weeks. But am not worried as I did the exact same last time. I know it's hard not to worry but try to think positive. If you're really anxious you could always book another in a weeks time if you can't wait 2!x

I’m quite positive as I was using ovulation sticks but obviously I could be out a day or two from that. So I think it’s 6 weeks tomorrow.
Yes I am trying to chill myself out as I know it can be normal but when it actually happens you freak don’t you!!

Rainbowdust557 · 10/04/2023 21:37

@Emilyj13 I had an early scan with my daughter after I had discharge and a little spotting at about 6 weeks and all was ok. They said it was late implementation bleeding. I also didn't really have any symptoms other than cramping with my first either. I didn't get sore breast a until a while in (can't remember exactly but maybe 8 weeks or so) morning sickness until about 17 weeks! It's the waiting and wondering that's so tough isn't it. I've also had the panic when I felt like my symptoms disappeared but they've come back a bit more today. Completely get the panic! Really hope everything is ok for you.

Thank you so much. It’s so reassuring when you’re able to speak to others. Especially when it is your first so you have nothing to compare to so you don’t know if this is normal for your body. I have felt the last couple of days I’m not pregnant which has got to me but I don’t know if that’s just because I’m thinking the worse.

Hi to everyone that's just joined. I hope everyone has a good week x

bringmearainbow · 11/04/2023 13:40

Hi is it ok if I join! I got my BFP at 10dpo yesterday. I have one DS and I lost two last year both were MMC so I'm under EPU for monitoring. Let's hope this is a real sticky one that gets to join our family this time 🤞🏼

N400 · 11/04/2023 13:58

Hi everyone XXX I'm due 2nd December but haven't been dated properly yet x

wannabemum38 · 11/04/2023 14:27

Congrats to the new BFPs.
I'm not sleeping properly at moment and getting paranoid at every little symptom. Had some wetness down below and possible clear discharge today not sure if that's normal but after my last MC I'm so paranoid. My OH googled it and said its normal to have excess discharge as long as its clear or milky and doesn't smell. This first few weeks is just so hard isn't it.
Sorry for waffling.

Alexis7890 · 11/04/2023 14:41

Hey @bringmearainbow 🙂

congrats to everyone getting their BFPs!

im still on the paranoid train worrying about every tiny feeling or change

Roxyroxy11 · 11/04/2023 14:51

Hi everyone
I had my BFP on 28th march I think I got it quite early.
Last week Wednesday 5th April I started to experience brown spotting which got worse with pain. On Friday 7th I went to a&e as had a bit of pink spotting and had my bloods done. They were 307 hcg.
Repeat on Monday and scan
Scan showed nothing as too early but did show my thickened uterus lining. Had sore boobs on Monday too and bleeding had subsided so was hopeful.
Results that evening were 100 hcg. My digital result changed from 2-3 and went to 1-2. Confirmed early miscarriage.
Devastated. Sending positive vibes to you all.

The only positive is it was early and hopefully won't take long for my levels to drop and try again.

bringmearainbow · 11/04/2023 14:52

@Alexis7890 ahhh hey lovely ❤️ the worrying is normal it will get to a point where you dont worry so much but it doesn't really go away. theres always something you think shouldn't be a pregnancy symptom but it actually is. there are some weird ones out there 🙄

Alexis7890 · 11/04/2023 15:06

@Roxyroxy11 so sorry to hear that, look after yourself x

WhiteHorse92 · 11/04/2023 16:04

Currently 5+2 with baby #2. Not sure when I ovulated but going by LMP due date should be around 10th December!

HannahLouD · 11/04/2023 16:21

@Roxyroxy11 I'm so sorry to hear that :( thinking of you 🤍

I'm 5+3 today and for the past maybe, 5 days, my nipples have been pretty much constantly erect and quite red and so sensitive and sore... I was having tingling in my boobs up until about 3 days ago which has stopped but my nipples are agony... Any one else had these constantly hard nipples? 🙈 And if so, how do I relieve the pain?! Only thing that seems to help is having a warm shower/bath 😅x

HannahLouD · 11/04/2023 16:22

Also any tips on keeping yourself awake past about 7.30pm would be appreciated! 😅😂 I've been going to bed after getting my 5 year old to sleep... I feel so lame. 🙈x

KIWI2023 · 11/04/2023 16:48

@HannahLouD my boobs are exactly the same and I'm currently 7 weeks today with twins, they've also gone up about two cup sizes😂 I have bought some super comfy bras from M&S and I'm living in those 24/7 or hot water bottle if they're too sore.

I have no tips on the sleep front, I'm getting around 10 hours of broken sleep at night and then yesterday had a 2 hour nap from 4-6 and was in bed asleep again by 8:30😂

I think this stage is just following what your body is demanding x

Rainbowdust557 · 11/04/2023 16:59

So sorry to hear that @Roxyroxy11 That's really tough. 😢
