I haven't seen one of these yet for December so thought I'd start one!

I'm due 1st December with hopefully a little rainbow.
I'm on cyclogest because I had 2 losses in the latter end of last year (October and december) at 6 weeks and 10 weeks.

Fingers crossed for lots of December babies!

My line progression from 12dpo when I got the first squinter to 17dpo today. Just goes to shoe how the strength of everyone's lines vary, as mine are still very faint. I didn't get a positive with DD until after I missed my period!

@Pitstop1986 you have no idea how much I needed to see this! I know one step IC are notorious for faint lines but here's my 13DPO and 14DPO. Hoping it'll just continue to get darker x

@HannahLouD I am trying to stay off Dr Google for that same reason. It can be so overwhelming to read all the different takes on the same symptom. Hope you're doing ok! X

Headaches have started for me. :/ Lower abdomen pain continues. No proper morning sickness as yet. The one that worries me a little is the light pink spotting which started today - in week 4+5. Trying to stay positive and calm though. Has anyone else had spotting at this stage?

Angelselevenx · 04/04/2023 18:46

@joyjoy23 how many dpo? I've had brown spotting since the day AF was due for me which was 4 days ago x

@Angelselevenx
These are mine.

The top four are over two days but the rest are daily.
Took until a while to get dark but now they're dye stealers.

Definitely takes some time.

@Angelselevenx Is it just the spotting for you or with pain? AF was due last Friday and then I got my first BFP on Saturday. I am now 19/20DPO by my count. I think I am going to speak to my GP just in case. X

Angelselevenx · 04/04/2023 19:11

@s14a how many dpo were each of these? X

@joyjoy23 no I dont have any cramping just normal mild cramps. Do you have cramping? X

Ehc1989 · 04/04/2023 19:21

@Angelselevenx same for me, had light bleeding for 3 days since my
period was meant to be. Happened last pregnancy for me too when I had my daughter, so trying to stay positive!

Angelselevenx · 04/04/2023 19:33

@Ehc1989 this is reassuring! I always bleed after smear tests too. Are you still bleeding now? Is yours red or brown/both?

Ehc1989 · 04/04/2023 19:47

@Angelselevenx yeah had very light brown blood today, none of it has been red. With my daughter I didn’t find out I was pregnant till 7.5 weeks as I had a normal period, red blood for the normal amount of time for a period. I think my body must clearly bleed in pregnancy!

Angelselevenx · 04/04/2023 20:20

@Ehc1989 how long is your luteal phase? mines 11 days which is why I think I bleed as it's so short and my body thinks it still needs a period maybe. I'm bleeding too but again brown blood like you and no cramps x

Lana32 · 04/04/2023 20:33

Tentatively joining - got my BFP confirmed on a clearblue digital this morning at 10DPO! Estimated due date of 17th December.

Not really sure what to do from here - it feels so surreal and I want to keep testing to be sure everything is ok, but don’t want to spend a fortune on tests or drive myself around the bend with worry!

How are you all coping with the early pregnancy anxiety?

They started at 11dpo (first four were 11dpo and 12dpo) and then daily from there.

I’m due the 5th of December. We have a 3 year old but had a miscarriage in December at 8 weeks so feeling so anxious. Is anyone paying for an early scan? I’m thinking of getting one at 8 weeks

Itonlytakesaminute · 04/04/2023 23:17

Joining to, got my BFP on Saturday at 10dpo, confirmed by a digital the next day.
First time and pretty anxious about it all, but have a early scan booked at just over 8 weeks so just waiting for that now.
I can't stop testing either !

Peaceandloves · 04/04/2023 23:26

Tentative joiner here. I am 12dpo. Tested positive Sunday. Twingy pains and heavy boobs but that's it.

I think my edd will be 14/12

Overthebow · 05/04/2023 05:59

Tentatively joining too. I’m 14dpo today with due date around 13th December but had a chemical last year so am very anxious about this one. Had a good line on cheap pregnancy test yesterday. This will be my second DC, we have an almost 3 year old who would love to be a big sister.

Definitely booking an early scan, probably at around 6.5 weeks to confirm viability.

s14a · 05/04/2023 06:51

@Smileyface32 I had a miscarriage in December too.

I'm having a scan at epau at 6+4 (the 11th)

I had early scan last time but I am too scared to have one this time incase it caused my MC.
Feeling sick this morning thought 4 weeks was too early for morning sickness?

KIWI2023 · 05/04/2023 10:10

@wannabemum38 Hey I just wanted to jump on and say that TVS are considered perfectly safe if it's something you want to do, it's a very personal choice though. Everywhere online and a consultant at my local hospital have confirmed this as I too was worried. Usually miscarriage in the first 12 weeks is due to chromosomal abnormalities and nothing you have done wrong and there is nothing you could have done to prevent it. I'm so sorry you have experienced such a loss x
