Hey! According to the NHS calculator I’m 7 weeks today and really wanting to book an early reassurance scan for tomorrow. Does anyone know if it’s pointless so early on? Or will 7 weeks be okay.

Hi there, I too have adenomyosis, I've had over 40 chemicals due to it but I've never got as far as this, I'm almost 2 weeks past as far as I usually get ,I lost hope and here I am. I'm on progesterone and 75mg aspirin off the fertility dr. I'm so nervous. Keep thinking it's going to go wrong and testing like a mad woman. Fingers crossed for us both x

I’m so sorry you’ve had such a tough journey. It’s hard because so little is known about the effects of adeno. Hoping for the best, sending you lots of good wishes.

@Baby1023
Wow same here!!! Nauseous and gassy. And same felt so off and I was so quiet all day. Hang in there all of us.

braxxen · 23/02/2023 15:20

@Baby1023 @Pregnancychatter

Same! Still in hospital atm and even though the anti sickness meds mean I'm not physically being sick, I'm still feeling sick and stomach is so gassy. I hope you both get some relief soon! How far along are you?

Mumto4rugrats · 23/02/2023 15:44

5+2 today. In the photo the frer was done 2 days ago at 5w , from LMP anyway. Did another yesterday but looked no different. The cbd is today's and so are the cheapies, bottom cheapies fmu top 2 ,3.30pm 4 hr hold. I know I shouldn't compare. I don't know when I ovd as I stopped tracking 2 months ago after giving up. I have loads and I mean loads fo chemicals due to adenomyosis and I never get past 4+2 and it never shows on a frer or cbd. I only realised I was late 2 days ago so couldn't start progesterone until then, as advised by fertility Dr. I'm not reaching out for betas yet due to the heartache of before. My question is surely for 5w 2d these should be darker and the cbd should say 2-3? I know it depends on levels in blood and so on but I've seen pics of 5w tests ans mostly all dye stealers. Not even close. So worried I will have a loss and progesterone will mask it. So worried. Did anyone else have tests like these at 5w mark and if so did it turn out well? I will call epu for early scan as advised if I get to week 6. Thankyou xx

Hi,

brand new here. First pregnancy, calculated that I’m 5w+6 since last period. really nervous and anxious.

such bad bloating and constipation, and such bad pain in my lower belly when needing to pass wind or stool- is that normal?

TIA

katherine123x · 23/02/2023 16:08

@LWestYorks heard so many different things on early scans. I'm going over the weekend and I'll be 61/2 weeks. Best thing to do is not expect to see much!!! ... that's what I'm trying 😂

katherine123x · 23/02/2023 16:09

@Shivmac1 same as me but I'm 6weeks today. I have a few symptoms, including what you describe. Think it's just things moving around inside!

Shivmac1 · 23/02/2023 16:12

Thanks for the message 😊 yeah I think you’re probably right, it’s just unnerving, can’t help but think the worst. Still hasn’t sunk in yet.

katherine123x · 23/02/2023 16:21

@Shivmac1 I know!! I'm good at giving that advice but it is so hard to not worry about everything!!

LWestYorks · 23/02/2023 16:25

@katherine123x Ive decided I’m going to wait until next week then I’ll be a bit further on at 8. My first midwife appointment isn’t until the Thursday after (9weeks) I just want some reassurance I guess. Can you let me know how you get on at yours please? X

I'm 8+1, how far along are you? I started to get bad nausea around the 6th week, though I had little amounts about 2 weeks after conception. The gas is relatively new, probably started around the end of the 6th week. It's on and off, but very unpleasant.

How long have you been in hospital? Hope you feel better soon!

katherine123x · 23/02/2023 16:30

@LWestYorks of course!!

braxxen · 23/02/2023 16:32

I'm 8 1/2 weeks. Started feeling sick at Week 5 and it's got gradually worse. I (kind of) managed it over half term (I'm a teacher) by resting, staying in a sterile room (no smells) and eating at the second I felt like it. Within two days back teaching, the sickness was that intense (and the fear of being sick in the classroom) that I'd pretty much totally stopped eating and drinking. Went to a and e yesterday morning as feeling nauseous / sick for so much of the day it massively impacted my fluid intake and my ketones were also high. Also had a bladder infection as I wasn't passing any urine as was that dehydrated.

fleur89 · 23/02/2023 17:40

@Mumto4rugrats hi lovely, attached are my cheapies from 3+2, 3+4, 3+6 and 4+0. At 4+6 I got a 3+ on a digital. Sorry this may not be what you want to see / hear. If I were you I'd see if I could get a scan to confirm viability and put your mind at rest. Everyone's HGC levels rise at different rates early on and it's a good sign you've had no bleeding etc.

We’ve booked a scan for Saturday, I’ll be 9 weeks. This pregnancy just feels so different to my other and, apart from tiredness and a dull nausea through most of the day, I’m feeling ok. I just want the reassurance that everything is ok. We have some family events coming up too and I’d quite like to tell my Mum, sister and SIL before to make life easier.

Im jumping the gun massively here but I can’t stop thinking about feeding. My LO was EBF but it’s such a full time job, I don’t know if I can manage it with a 2 year old as well!

Almasita · 23/02/2023 19:03

Hi everyone,

I recommend this HCG calculator, it's very helpful to see where in the spectrum of healthy growth you lie, it's very individual.

For mums who have breastfed in the past, The last two days I had a tingling feeling in my nipples like I had a breast milk let down or I was leaking milk. I have stopped breastfeeding very long time now, I definitely have no milk! I can't remember how sore boobs feel like from my first pregnancy, but when you talk about sore boobs/nipples, is that what you feel? I am freaking out that's something else is wrong, like a hormonal imbalance.

I am so sorry to hear that some of you have to leave this group, I hope you manage to join another "due..." Soon!

@braxxen I am a teacher too, I understand what you go though. Take care of yourself!

NSx · 23/02/2023 19:31

how are you all checking your HCG levels ? Are you all doing regular blood tests?

VictoriaBlossom · 23/02/2023 20:20

@NSx I want to know the answer to this question too 😂

VictoriaBlossom · 23/02/2023 20:25

Got my 3+ weeks today. Bit odd as I did one Monday and it said 1-2 weeks.
I don't think I'm even 3 weeks post ov!
Put my mind at ease though

@Alexandra07 - I didn't bf with my first but am having the feeling that my nipples are full of milk and uncomfortable, and if I squeeze the milk out of them they are more comfortable again. I don't know how different the sensation that you are having is, but comforting that someone else is having breast milk related symptoms

Chanteuse · 23/02/2023 21:05

This is my first but my nipples/boobs are sore and they are giant. I had quite large boobs anyway, and my bras are starting to become quite uncomfortable (cups and back!). Does anyone have any recommendations for supportive but comfortable bras? Sports bras are a no as they squash me in and I can’t cope with that at the moment!

NSx · 23/02/2023 21:19

@VictoriaBlossom I have a digital left but I’m too scared to take it 😂😂😂 however I’ve been getting super strong lines on cheapies 🤞😅 happy for you 💕💕💕💕

@VictoriaBlossom congratulations. Isn't that the best feeling!! I remember thinking oh. I can't test anymore now 😂
@Chanteuse oh my god I've been getting back ache this week bad and I think it's my boobs/bra situation too!! It's rather uncomfortable. I went for a sports bra style today and it was so much better. Sorry can't recommend any others but I feel your pain!
