We are getting close to full so getting another thread ready 😊

@BellaTheDarkOverlord are you okay? That sounds awful - pregnancy anxiety is so hard to deal with as nothing can bring you down to what you believe. I really hope that these feelings don’t crop up to much and j how you can enjoy your pregnancy ( I know easier said than done) glad your dh was there and he could be there with you.

Lack of movements scare me but then too much movement scares me as my intrusive thoughts starts to kick in . It’s so hard to just be chilled.

( To end on a more lighter note ) Can I get some recommendations for cute going home outfits for baby. In my last pregnancy my daughter came home in a baby towelling top and bottom - it was so cute . However this time with the warmer weather I am stuck with what to get and I want a really cute fit so I can take pics of both girls together.

In a way, the fact that so many of us feel similar is reassuring. Eg imagine if you're the only one who's worried and everyone around you is relaxed, you'd be thinking that being worried is definitely a sign because no one else feels the same, so it must mean something bad will happen and it's your intuition telling you.
But now.. it's clear that so many of us feel like this and it doesn't say anything about the outcome ❤️

I’ve not had experience with panic attacks but I do understand anxiety and it’s a b*h

Rest up tonight, a good movie or series with DH once DD is in bed. And a good sleep. We are watching Strike by JK Rowling. It’s gripping and helps me out of my anxiety sometimes.

Hello I hope everyone is doing well. I downloaded a kick counter app at the moment I'm not sure exactly what are kicks and what is just movement so it is more to record movement. I know a lot of us here have anxiety so it may or may not help. So far today baby has moved more than ever, does anyone know if this is something to be concerned about? I've had approximately 50 movements since 5am this morning and they are really strong. Thank you!

Thanks all for the kind messages. I'm ok now. Just was horrible for those moments that I broke down. It's so hard when I'm worried about high risks and then worried what if something happens during the night when I'm asleep and I don't wake up. I'm now 24+2 and I'm wondering if worst happened to me like that would they be able to save DD2 and she'd survive. It's horrible feeling.

I'm a bit better now just need to try get rid of horrible thoughts like that. I didn't have them with DD1 but then again I never knew about any of the risks until i was 36 weeks and they all came. Now I know in advance about then. DH said he wouldn't let anything happen to me and baby. He's so lovely.

On a lighter note @Zaalfruit I've got a cute little pink sleepsuit which my DM bought baby. It's really soft and sweet and comes with a cardigan and hat. I think that'll be her coming home outfit. My friends just dropped off a jumperoo and a Moses basket they had from their baby so now my kitchen is full of baby stuff again 😂

@Dewintergarden do you think maybe you’re noticing movements now you’re using the kick counter? What does your midwife say about counting kicks?

Taking a leaf out of @Hlc86 book, and being productive in light of my shitty week last week, by writing the list for the hospital bag. I swear I’ve forgotten what I took (and used) last time.

Pregnancy anxiety isn’t good. I find that if I’m busy and doing stuff I don’t feel much. But when I sit down and relax baby kicks non stop.
ivw been getting some more niggles and some braxton hicks type things where uterus goes brick hard for few seconds. It’s not sore, just an odd feeling.
I do feel massive and trying to turn over in bed leaves me feeling like an upturned turtle.
had bad heartburn last couple of days too.

pregnancy really is glamorous!!!

@Zaalfruit I had a summer born too with my first baby. And it was super hot! We brought him home in a sleeveless baby gro. And basically kept him in sleeveless baby gros till the end of summer. It was super hot that year…

Will be buying this type of thing for baby girl

@PurBal I have only met my midwife once so far and they are hard to get hold of and refer me to triage. I phoned triage just before who said it is too early to keep track of movements at the moment. My next appointment is the 9th March so I will ask then.

@Dewintergarden that's really frustrating!

We had our anomaly scan today, everything is looking good 😅 and we are expecting a little girl 😀 the girls are pleased but my little boy is a little bit disappointed- he says he already has enough sisters 😆

I’m thinking of treating us to a new sling as a celebration of everything being ok so far!

Husband is doing very well at keeping me happy.

No movement since about 12pm and now severe abdominal pains (I think intestinal). Will monitor the situation.

@DrinkingAllTheGin ive just ordered kinder waffles and ice cream take out. I never fancy sweet stuff so I'm going with it 🤣

I'm 24 weeks today. Feel like I've been waiting to get to this point. Stressed myself out more reading threads about twins coming early now though lol

I've bought some prem clothes in the sale just incase, and they're tiny. Hopefully I won't need them and can donate them to nicu or something instead 😊

Oh I felt couple kicks now. it's always after posting 😂

I’ve been on ducha junk food bender this pregnancy. I don’t really have a sweet tooth usually. But I found I was the same with my son, just scoffing as much sweet stuff as possible. Today it’s been a chocolate trifle, and I’ve gone for fruit though it’s massively disappointing…usually I’m eating a massive cake and cookies but I’m a bit worried I’m overdosing on sugar!

Still food is the only vice we’ve got left. Lol. We haven’t had sex in ages because I’ve often had issues with bleeding when I have sex (pre-pregnancy) so haven’t wanted to risk it. So cookies and cake are keeping me happy!!! Actually now I’m thinking to sack off the fruit and go restock before the corner shop closes 😂😂😂

i need to concentrate on if baby is kicking but my 2 year old suddenly got unwell last night and now has cried most of the night whilst my husband is away for work. I think she and I have slept for 3 hours since 7pm. We have now retired to my bedroom where she’s laying beside me super unwell. Doesn’t help that I decided yesterday to get my whooping cough jab done.

@summerpoolandsun i am going to look for short sleeved rompers and those vests . So excited for all the summery outfits .
