@RandomCatGenerator people are always selling second hand seraphine stuff on eBay and Vinted.

The only mat jeans I have that actually stay up at the moment are from loveleggings, the band covers the whole bump too so no deeply unflattering line. I've got some very stretched jeans from the boys which fortunately I didn't get rid of, they seem huge at the moment but will fit brilliantly by about 32 weeks I reckon x

dunkedbiscuit · 02/02/2023 19:22

Yes still getting some cramping here too quite low in my pelvis , I think I remember this going on for a while with my first too

Im down South in Hampshire, where’s everyone else?

Namechangedforthis60 · 02/02/2023 19:25

I’m down south in Wiltshire :)
glad to know I’m not the only one experiencing cramping - it’s easy for me to slip into catastrophising as my last pregnancy ended in mc.
now if I could just get rid of this insomnia I’d be a happy woman!
how is everyone else doing?

I'm from Northern Ireland 😊

Does anyone know if a pregnancy massage would be any good for back spasms/sciatica? Crippled this evening x

dunkedbiscuit · 02/02/2023 21:31

Oh the lack of sleep is killing me @Namechangedforthis60 ! Nature is so ridiculous isn’t it, surely pregnant people need their rest!!

bubble55 · 03/02/2023 06:39

Anyone suffering with back pain? I’m in agony. I couldn’t even roll over in bed without wincing 😬 I worry somethings wrong but then I know back pain is common. It’s all in the middle of my lower back.

leanneb94 · 03/02/2023 09:16

@bubble55 Yeah I've had backache start now but mainly when I'm out walking tbh. Noticed it a couple of days ago just carrying round a basket in home bargains, wasn't too heavy either but had it since, think will just have to use a trolley when I have to go shopping anywhere now so not straining

Namechangedforthis60 · 03/02/2023 11:25

Back pain, sciatica, headaches, insomnia, cramps and nausea all being experienced here so you all have my solidarity there ladies! I wish I was one of those women who glow and sail through pregnancy but I am definitely not that lucky (and yet I’m still here happily doing it for the 4th time 🤣)

how much movement is everyone else feeling from babies? I’m sure I was feeling more at this stage with my others but it’s been a long time so maybe I am not remembering!

rach971 · 03/02/2023 11:48

@Namechangedforthis60 Not feeling anything yet at 15 weeks. At 11+4 I was told it looked like I had an anterior placenta. Got another scan tomorrow so going to ask them where abouts it is now as I know it can shift as your bump grows. Hoping to feel something soon.

rach971 · 03/02/2023 12:22

Having a lie down because I suddenly felt super sleepy and I moved a little and had such a sharp jabbing pain on my right hand side, round my hip area. Only lasted a few seconds and I have no clue what it was but I'm having a scan tomorrow so just hoping all will be okay ♥️

MamaSJ15 · 03/02/2023 20:36

Trying to catch up on the thread, good luck to all house hunting! We moved (renting) back in September 😊
I've been struggling to find maternity clothes too, found a couple of bundles on eBay but they're always a mixed sized bundle so some stuff is okay and the rest too big. I ordered a couple of pairs of jeans from vinted and these feel good though to be fair. I'm fed up of wearing leggings already!
Still suffering from constipation/bloat/trapped wind. But got a scan on Sunday to find out the gender so very excited for that! Also still eating all the crap food I can lay my hands on 🙈 it's really not good!!

squirrelnutkins1 · 03/02/2023 21:14

@MamaSJ15 eek all the best for Sunday!

MamaSJ15 · 03/02/2023 21:16

@squirrelnutkins1 thank you very much 🥰

bubble55 · 04/02/2023 03:45

I’m really struggling with my back ache. I can feel and see baby wriggle but the pain is so bad, hence being awake now! Is it possible I could have a UTI even though it doesn’t hurt to wee? I’m convinced it’s not just stretching pains :/

No UTI just unexplained aches and pains but baby’s heartbeat was perfect and I was sent home with codeine (and some swabs in the form of a smear like test, ugh!)

MountainLaurel7 · 04/02/2023 16:56

Finally almost 15 weeks now and feeling very lucky, I feel basically completely normal unless I move a certain way to notice my lower abdomen. Hard for me to say if I have any kind of movement yet, I do feel odd sensations but really nothing to compare it to.🤨 And my bump still isn't significant enough for a stranger to think I'm not just fat.😅 I'm jealous of all the bump pics you guys have been posting on wednesdays!

Also if anyone is still really struggling with constipation, it's a bit gross but an enema bulb is an option, they're easy to find on amazon.

Spoke too soon I just picked my toddler up and my backs totally gone - reduced to tears by the pain. Never had this before, like a spasm all down my side in my back. Is this sciatica? I can’t move :(

Thank you @habiller ive got a hot water bottle and taken codeine. I’ve never had such a pain before, it was like something just snapped and spasm.
