Can’t believe we’re onto a second thread already. Hope this doesn’t put any newbies off, as I don’t think we’re even halfway through possible due dates yet. Anyone welcome to join in.

I wanted to start off by reassuring TheBirdintheCave that I have no nausea either and had none whatsoever all through my last pregnancy. Thinking of you and hoping your current fears turn out to be for nothing. xx

Thank you, that does help 😊

congratulations to you too, I hope the nausea gets easier for you!!

LBF2020 · 12/12/2022 16:42

Hey everyone. I'm mostly caught up, been away for a while feeling pants with a cough/cold. I've started feeling nauseous, but I haven't been sick yet. 5 +5 now.

I had a notification from the badger app to say I have been booked a consultant appointment on Wednesday this week. I'm not sure what for, but I do have some health issues so I assume it relates to that.

I've booked an early scan when I'll be 7+3 (which is also Xmas eve!)

LBF2020 · 12/12/2022 16:44

Congratulations @MinnieFirstTimeMum
I have also been having cramps, just before I found out I was pregnant I assumed my period was coming because it felt just like that! I'm still getting the cramps, but less often now.

Thank you and congratulations 😊 I was due on today so I keep thinking the positive pregnancy tests may be just be fluke and my period is just going to be late.
cramps definitely feel like menstrual pains.
How far along are you?

LBF2020 · 12/12/2022 17:04

5w+5, they feel exactly like period pains to me, but they are definitely getting less frequent so I assume it was implantation? TMI but every time I wiped I expected to see blood!

Rowanandremy · 12/12/2022 17:20

Hi all, not been on a few days because DD brought home a delightful cold that wiped us all out and gave me a fever that had me delirious for a while. Can't believe we're on a new thread already and that I'm struggling to keep up 😂
I've got a scan booked for the 22nd with the fertility clinic when I'll be 7 weeks, really looking forward to it but a little apprehensive. I was the same with DD though so there's no particular reason for it. DD was adamant it was twins but the last two days she's said theres only one baby, not sure if that's a feeling she's had all along or if she's just decided she doesn't want to share her space with more than one! 😂
Symptoms wise it's picked up quite a bit, food aversions are a constant thing that I'm struggling with, nausea is quite bad, sore boobs, back, bowel cramps that make me think I'm having pre period cramps, headaches and my already keen sense of smell has heightened so escaping food smells is near on impossible.
I will admit that we have bought the baby something, a little teddy. We suffered some losses before and all we have of them is the teddies we bought before we lost them. We felt that getting something that was theirs, from past experience, could be a comfort if it didn't go as we would want or if things did go well they'd have the teddy from birth.
Has anyone had any cravings yet?
About the Facebook group, I don't have Facebook so if everyone goes over to that will this thread be abandoned?

sally16 · 12/12/2022 17:47

@Rowanandremy I'm sure the thread will continue :) I like to keep in touch both ways and a lot of people don't use fb xx

ChloeN · 12/12/2022 17:49

@Rowanandremy im struggling with food aversions atm too, I just don’t fancy anything! Which is very unlike me🤣

WonderfulSummer · 12/12/2022 18:01

Sadly leaving this thread after lots of cramping and now brown discharge and an almost negative pregnancy test (after a strong BFP last week). Waiting for the main bleeding to start - just not meant to be this time.

Sending all the luck to everyone for their August babies!

ChloeN · 12/12/2022 18:05

@WonderfulSummer so sorry to hear that lovely, look after yourself and I’m sending you lots of love xx

Alexandra07 · 12/12/2022 18:12

somuchtolearnabout · 12/12/2022 18:34

Sorry to hear that @WonderfulSummer - not the outcome anyone wanted for you but hoping it all works out for you soon. Best of luck ❤️

somuchtolearnabout · 12/12/2022 18:36

@AnnieApple123 Thanks for the link. Do you mean you're deferring entry for your May born? My son is 27th April and it never even crossed my mind!!

TheBirdintheCave · 12/12/2022 18:40

@WonderfulSummer Sorry to hear that :( I hope you get your rainbow soon! X

mum2b29 · 12/12/2022 18:51

Hi,

I'm worried, I'm not bleeding like a period but when I wipe after peeing, I can see a difference in the colour of my pee , I'm 5wks +6.

Has anyone had this before or understand what I'm saying 🥺

Thanks

buttercupbee · 12/12/2022 18:53

X

Sjw30 · 12/12/2022 19:36

@mum2b29 are you dehydrated?

AnnieApple123 · 12/12/2022 19:39

So sorry to hear this @WonderfulSummer. I really hope your time comes soon. xx

@mum2b29 I’ve had a pink tinge on wiping. Does it sound like that? I spoke to two nurses who told me it didn’t sound at all concerning and it seems to have passed now at 7 weeks.

Good to see you back @Rowanandremy . I’m another who doesn’t use Facebook so hopefully everyone won’t move over there!
