Can’t believe we’re onto a second thread already. Hope this doesn’t put any newbies off, as I don’t think we’re even halfway through possible due dates yet. Anyone welcome to join in.

I wanted to start off by reassuring TheBirdintheCave that I have no nausea either and had none whatsoever all through my last pregnancy. Thinking of you and hoping your current fears turn out to be for nothing. xx

@TheBirdintheCave where abouts up north? I'm from cumbria!

TheBirdintheCave · 11/12/2022 12:48

@Loudmouth1 Southport :) I love Cumbria. My family had a lodge in Appleby and we used to go every summer.

Loudmouth1 · 11/12/2022 12:52

@TheBirdintheCave I'm a 5 minute drive from Appleby, it's weird when people from the Liverpool Manchester area say their northern as its still 2 hours south from us up here 😂

TheBirdintheCave · 11/12/2022 12:56

Aww haha. I live in Sussex now and know people from the midlands who try to tell me they're from the north 😂

SnowL2021 · 11/12/2022 12:59

6 weeks 4 days and back to feeling like I’m going to come on my period at any moment

😩

Cumbria is such a lovely part of the country!

Nic2908 · 11/12/2022 13:04

@Loudmouth1 @TheBirdintheCave crazy, I live in Southport!!

TheBirdintheCave · 11/12/2022 13:21

@Nic2908 No way! What a small world :D

Amme18 · 11/12/2022 13:23

I’m east midlands and guilty of saying northern 🤣 in the north/south divide I’d say I’m northern.

heand2022 · 11/12/2022 14:17

@Nic2908 I'm not far from you, I'm in Orrell near Wigan 🙂

RosieDal · 11/12/2022 14:21

@Loudmouth1 I'm from Chester, and always say I'm from up north 😁

I'm really tempted to book an early scan with everyone saying they're having one. Since having a MC in Sep every twinge is sending me mad and maybe an early scan would put my mind at ease a little bit. 12 week scan just feels so long away.

Thinking about booking an early scan, I haven't even booked my first appointment!

LS888 · 11/12/2022 14:33

I’m from North Shropshire. Not far from Chester @RosieDal I would say I am from the midlands but my friend from Birmingham disagrees and says I’m northern 😂 you can’t win!

BCxx · 11/12/2022 14:35

Hi everyone 😊Hope you’re all well! I’ve just found out im pregnant with #2, my little one is nearly a year and a half. Cautiously joining, il only be 4 weeks tomorrow, found out on Thursday but very faint lines the last two days and started bleeding yesterday 🤦🏼‍♀️ Now concluded it was implantation and is coming to a stop, slightly darker test this morning but I fully ruled out the possibility of things being okay after seeing blood yesterday!

Think we’ll definitely be having an early scan again. Although last time we went at 6 and a half weeks and other than seeing a little flicker there really wasn’t much to see so I think we’d wait til the following week this time! I remember even the gap from the first scan to the 12 week one feeling like an age last time, was so shocked when there was suddenly a fully grown baby on the screen at 12 weeks, was convinced it was going to be bad news! Their birthdays are going to end up very close together but I’m sure that will work in my favour for a few years 😂

Amme18 · 11/12/2022 15:04

@BCxx welcome and congratulations! My DS was born 28/7/19 with a due date of 4/8 and this one due date is 5/8 so same re birthdays! Hoping for some shared parties 🤣

Sjw30 · 11/12/2022 15:18

Welcome and congratulations @BCxx

BCxx · 11/12/2022 15:28

@Amme18 oh wow, what is the chances! I had a section with him but his due date is 10 days earlier than this one and i’d have a section again so there will be around a week between them. Thought that was ideal though as they can have shared parties, especially in the garden since they’ll have summer birthdays. Saves friends trying to remember both your kids birthdays too if they just have one party 😂 then when they’re too cool for shared parties, he’ll have the first weekend and a week later we’ll have the other 🤣

BCxx · 11/12/2022 15:29

@Sjw30 thank you, congratulations to you too! 😊

RosieDal · 11/12/2022 15:50

@BCxx congratulations 🎊

buttercupbee · 11/12/2022 16:13

LMM91x · 11/12/2022 16:53

Welcome and congrats @BCxx !! We sre all a bundle of nerves over here you are in good company 🤣💕

so with your first was there no heartbeat at 6 and a half?? I’ve booked mine for 6w6d (my first so i have no idea just thought it would be nice before Christmas and late enough to see heArtbeat )

any thought ladiesss? xxx

Amme18 · 11/12/2022 17:15

@LMM91x I had a heartbeat at 6 weeks with my first! Thought he was 6+2 but was only 6weeks, had an early scan for bleeding.

Sjw30 · 11/12/2022 17:17

@LMM91x I have also been wondering if it may be too early. We have ours the same date don’t we?

Createcomet · 11/12/2022 17:18

Hi! I'm joining in...I got my BFP 10th December for baby #2

Already had nausea, lower back pain that wakes me up, insomnia, extreme tiredness and mood swings. We really want another child, but I have to admit I feel rather glum today. Goodness knows how I'm going to do this with a 2 year old and 2 businesses 🤣🤦‍♀️

Hope everyone else is doing okay?

BoodifulGoose · 11/12/2022 17:21

Just popping back in (as like I said, can't help myself from lurking 😂) to say that I've booked an early scan for when I'll be 8w from LMP, when my midwife called I asked about early scans and she advised waiting until 8 weeks as that's best chance to see a heartbeat :)
@LMM91x @Sjw30

Sjw30 · 11/12/2022 17:21

Hey @Createcomet welcome and congrats! Sounds like you have a lot in your plate! I’m also feeling really tired, sore boobs and nausea and cramping that come and go

Sjw30 · 11/12/2022 17:23

@BoodifulGoose oh thank you for that! Ah I don’t know what to do!
