It still feels very early but I’m taking a leap of faith and starting a thread here.

Just found out yesterday that I’m due at the very start of August.

Anybody else yet?

@sinloutox sorry to hear that, hoping this is your cycle 🤞🏼💕

@MaraudingMother I’m due 1 August so very similar. Are you going for an early scan?

PumpkinEverything · 05/12/2022 08:24

So sorry to hear that @sinloutox i really hope you get your rainbow soon ♥️🤞🏻

PumpkinEverything · 05/12/2022 08:26

@katiehx yes I’m pretty sure it’s normal. Also, I think cramps are a very early symptom and then they mostly ease off after the first week or so from what I remember. Nausea doesn’t hit some people either until 6-8 weeks sometimes too, so there’s still plenty of time for it to come back 🙈

buttercupbee · 05/12/2022 08:29

@LMM91x that’s very true - what will be will be 💖 at the very least it’s a relief to know I can get pregnant and if anything happens we can try again (obviously I’m hoping it doesn’t come to that). For some reason I had an irrational fear I would be unable to get pregnant, despite the fact I’ve always had regular periods and no issues. I think it’s the fact I was on the pill for 10+ years and I worried it would mess up my hormones 🙈

katiehx · 05/12/2022 08:44

@PumpkinEverything Thanks for the reassurance! :) After I posted, I also went on Reddit to read 🙈 and apparently it's extremely normal for the symptoms to come and go. I'm seeing the doctor on Wednesday, so I'm a little nervous but hoping everything will go well xx

TheBirdintheCave · 05/12/2022 08:47

Panicking about lack of nausea today. I'd already had it for a week with my son at this point :/ I thought it was getting worse on Saturday but yesterday and today it's just back to the vaguely queasy but generally normal feeling I have. Boobs aren't as sore either.

I feel like this is going the way of the MMC :( I don't think I can do it again.

FlamingoBabe · 05/12/2022 08:50

Sending hugs @sinloutox x

FlamingoBabe · 05/12/2022 08:54

@TheBirdintheCave ah it’s so stressful isn’t it but don’t forget that every pregnancy is different and symptoms come and go. With my DS my symptoms fluctuated and I was so nervous but my midwife basically said, some people have loads of symptoms, some have none and some have fluctuating ones and it’s all perfectly normal ❤️

@MaraudingMother welcome! I’m 6+1 today too! Hope you’re feeling okay and congratulations!

PumpkinEverything · 05/12/2022 08:57

@TheBirdintheCave symptoms are so different. I had no nausea or sickness, barely any symptoms really, with my daughter! Each pregnancy is different and this one probably is too for you.
the sickness could come in full force next week too 🙈

MaraudingMother · 05/12/2022 08:57

Thanks everyone!! Currently have 0 symptoms so worried. I do have an early scan on 13.12.22 with EPAU after previous losses.

Wishing for symptoms but also glad I'm not super nauseas 😂

TheBirdintheCave · 05/12/2022 08:57

@FlamingoBabe It's just so difficult as my symptomless pregnancy ended in MMC but the one in which I was very sick for weeks produced my son. So, for my body at least, having next to no symptoms is really bad news.

PumpkinEverything · 05/12/2022 08:59

I saved this after my MMC when I was pregnant and looked back at it every day for ages. I’m going to share it again here now, and probably again in the future, but I really hope it can help some of those struggling ♥️

Due August 2023?
FlamingoBabe · 05/12/2022 09:02

@TheBirdintheCave it must be so difficult, I’m sorry. Love what @PumpkinEverything has just shared ❤️

tallgirl232 · 05/12/2022 09:05

When do pregnancy cramps tend to end ? I'm 4 weeks + 5 days and the cramps are becoming a nuisance now. Not sure when to worry about it.

Butterflies12 · 05/12/2022 09:08

@PumpkinEverything thank you so much for sharing those commandments, I am in complete tears reading them but I needed that this morning so thank you.
Thank you also to everyone else who has said kind words. I haven't told anyone at all about this pregnancy so I'm grateful that I can talk to you all and read your messages and experiences 💕

LMM91x · 05/12/2022 09:12

@buttercupbee totally same here, so irrational but your head goes to some strange places. I agree with you as you say hope it doesn’t come to that💕

@TheBirdintheCave try not to panic and go straight to worst outcome - I know this is hardest thing to do in practice as I am similar, every cramp imm convinced it’s going to end:( My boobs hurt less in the mornings but by the evenings seem to pick up so I really think they do come and go in waves. And no two pregnancies are the same they say right?? Sending lots of love xxxxxxxx

LMM91x · 05/12/2022 09:44

@tallgirl232 same here mine are pretty sore today :( hoping it’s normal xxx

LS888 · 05/12/2022 09:56

Sorry to hear that @sinloutox take care of yourself xx

Amme18 · 05/12/2022 10:44

@tallgirl232 5+2 and pains have just eased off the last couple of days! Last week there was a lot of cramping x

tallgirl232 · 05/12/2022 10:56

@LMM91x I usually have cramps throughout my cycle to be fair sometimes due to my fibroids, and also near my ovaries. Just concerned if it gets worse - not sure whether it's the pregnancy or the fibroids getting worse due to the increase in hormones! I'm used to really bad menstrual cramps so completely lost as to what is considered normal and excessive.

@Amme18 Thanks! I'm 5 weeks towards the end of the week, so hopefully they get better then

I think when I take my early pregnancy scan in a few weeks' time, I'll be less nervous about everything. Really praying for an enjoyable and manageable pregnancy.

LMM91x · 05/12/2022 11:03

@tallgirl232 YES Ihace a cyst on my left ovary that seems to be giving me a bit of jip.. hope it’s that anyway and not anything more sinister. Not much we can do until things get worse (bleeding etc) or the scan which for me is 17 looooong days 🤣 i’m sure its all normal and one persons normal can be completely different to another so must learn to BREATHE🤣
i agree after first initial ok everything is in the right place etc i hope i’ll calm down a bit more!!
xxxx

Yes this was my experience in my last pregnancy (which resulted in my son) and this one seems to be going the same one.

@tallgirl232 my cramps stopped both times at just past 5 weeks.

@Mulner88 What time is your scan?

sally16 · 05/12/2022 12:02

Does anyone else have a crazy toddler to contend with? My last pregnancy was mostly lazing about.. this time I'm already tired 😅

Amme18 · 05/12/2022 12:03

I’ve got my booking scan through! 6th Jan - feels real now. I’ll be 9+6. Tempted to book an early scan before then - had an early NHS one last time around 7 weeks as I had some bleeding and not sure I can go to 12 weeks without seeing a reassuring heartbeat!
