Welcome and congrats to @Judethepud @Butterflies12 @LMM91x @Lalalul @Nic2908 I hope I haven't missed anyone. I'm trying to catch up with this thread 😂
@AnnieApple123 I'd also wanted a homebirth but my DW wasn't keen, I have some health issues that if there was an emergency could be quite difficult to handle if the hospital weren't fully aware - and if there had been a problem I would have been transported to the hospital I wasn't keen on. I opted for the hospital I wanted and ended up having a lovely experience. I was also far more relaxed in that environment than I would have been in the other hospital.
@DesertSnow I'm so sorry you are having disturbing dreams, I've had some horrendous ones. The fatigue has hit me too, I'm struggling to get out of bed some mornings. Re exercise I was swimming upwards of 4 days a week pre fertility treatment, they had me stop for 2 weeks to see if the treatment worked and now I'm cleared to continue. I go back swimming tomorrow and I'm excited but a bit nervous. With my DD I walked our dog most days and in the early weeks I did have a fair bit of discharge but my midwife said it wasn't a concern and I was fine to continue as long as I felt well in myself.
@sally16 I'm having my first scan on the 22nd with the fertility clinic and I'll be 7 weeks. We'd have wanted to get one around that time anyway as we did with DD and I'm finding it reassuring to follow a similar pattern with this one.
@Mulner88 good luck for your scan tomorrow, I really hope it goes well.
@Nic2908 i wasn't very active with my first pregnancy and my midwife encouraged me to start gently, a don't run before you can walk approach. I think where it's feasible they encourage exercise but within reason for yourself, if you're getting winded, slow down a bit and if at any point you feel unwell then ease off. Do you know when you are seeing/speaking to your midwife?
