Hi

I can’t see one yet so just starting a due July 2023!

I’ve had bfp on first response and digital clear blue this week and keen to get chatting to others 🥰

I’ve just booked a private scan at 8w.. waiting until nhs scan at 12w seemed so far away! At least I have something to count down towards now 😬 (it was only £69 so not breaking the bank either)

Yes I think I want a 7/8 weeks scan. I don't want to book it too soon in case anything happens and you've still paid for the scan!

How many weeks are you?

I think I'm between 4w 4d and 5w 🤷🏼‍♀️

septembersapphire7 · 08/11/2022 23:21

@TTC2022newbie snap I’m the same at 4w+4 😋
so far just paid a £20 deposit but having run out of tests and not having many symptoms, I suddenly had the urge to see what’s going on in there to make it all real!

the place I booked is near where I work and they don’t have availability every day so I just booked on a whim today.

not quite sure how to stop worrying but am ending the day with the positive mantra of the group.. ‘Today, I am pregnant.’ ☺️

Coffeeforlife · 08/11/2022 23:46

@heartbroken22 I'm still in denial that it might turn into a baby to be honest. My sons will be 6 and 5 at due date but I won't let myself believe it unless it makes it to 12 weeks. I'm 6 weeks tomorrow on dates so we'll see, have an early scan next Monday in case it's not viable/wrong place - I'd rather know. But 'I'm pregnant today' is a great mantra, and don't I just feel it with the nausea and running about after the boys Halloween Confused

lauraslops · 09/11/2022 05:43

Nervously joining in. Got a bfp yesterday, believe I'm about 4 weeks by dates. I have a 6 year old and am currently on maternity leave with a 9 month old (what am I thinking!?!?!?!) Was a surprise yesterday but a happy surprise. 😊

Nearlymorning · 09/11/2022 05:52

I seem to be due later than most of you. The due date calculator estimates 22nd July but I do think I ovulated early, so that will probably change. We’d been trying for around six months, was starting to worry a bit because I am 42.

I do worry that something horrible could happen but I think I’ll assume not unless something gives me reason to think it is. I’m too early for any symptoms (although I did get a tingling sensation in my nipples yesterday) but once the sickness and the exhaustion starts it is undeniable!

Chaoscontrol · 09/11/2022 08:15

Little bit of boost/reassurance needed if you would be so kind..

Top one is from this morning fmu.
Bottom one is from Sunday fmu.
I am sticking with the easy at home till I run out. I'll do a frer on Friday which would have been a week since seeing a strong line on a frer.

Is this good? It's not super dark but it's certainly getting there and for just hitting 4w2d today I don't think it's bad?

Hope you are all good today. I gagged hard this morning at a smell which never bothers me normally, which I'm hoping is a good sign ✨

Following!! I’m 5+5 weeks and a bit nervous but delighted

Coffeewithmyoxyg3n · 09/11/2022 09:56

Hi, nervously joining also, got my BFP Sunday as a total shock. I did a test but after a minute or so, it looked negative and was only when I went to throw it away noticed a really strong positive so did another which was also positive. I have Pcos and 2-3 months between periods is very normal so tend to do a test every week ish just in case and so used to them being negative, this was such a shock! Does mean I am not sure how many weeks I am though, my guesstimate is about 4-5 week and due around 15th July. But going by last period would make me 8-9 weeks!

Definitely feeling the nausea and tiredness atm though! I'm also testing and comparing lines, was much less anxious with my first but that was 8 years ago and we have had multiple bouts of ttc over the years since with no luck so the anxiety is high atm.

heartbroken22 · 09/11/2022 10:10

@Coffeeforlife @Losti121623 thank you. Are you guys hoping for a boy or girl or you don't care? I keep thinking about what if we have either and how will it look. But you can never imagine these things as reality was different with both my babies. Hubby tells me to stop thinking about it as he just wants a healthy baby.

candycrush789 · 09/11/2022 10:52

Hi I'm (hopefully) due July 2023 with our 3rd.After a mmc in September I'm very wary! I have been spotting on and off since finding out on Sunday and worrying myself silly over chemicals and ectopics etc. But hopefully all is well, I hope all you ladies are well xxx

polkadotdasies88 · 09/11/2022 11:19

I was so scared to do this test this morning but told myself I'd rather know what's going on.
I'm 5w4d today so I was happy to get the 3+ although I know it doesn't guarantee anything and of course I'm still feeling v v anxious.

Going to book a private scan for a few weeks time when I'll hopefully be 7 weeks so that's my next milestone to aim for.

Still checking frantically everytime I go to the loo & panicking because my boobs are definitely not as sore as they were.

I think I'm having a few bouts of nausea although it could also be the anxiety!

So glad to have other ladies to chat with who understand ❤️

I should be 4+5 today but just taken a digital dating and it’s come back not pregnant after 3 positives and 1-2 weeks on the weekend- I think I’ve got some light spotting.. I’m absolutely beside myself 😭

MamaSJ15 · 09/11/2022 13:03

@Bertiebean oh I'm so sorry that's heartbreaking!

MamaSJ15 · 09/11/2022 13:07

@polkadotdasies88 ah so lovely to see that 3+. I'm over a week behind you, at 4+2 today. Did another test this morning which the line seemed a little lighter on but I think I'm just looking into it too much 🤦🏼‍♀️ gonna leave it another couple of days now and try again. Want to do my last Digi early next week to hopefully see it up to 2-3.
It really is such an anxious time. Early losses are far too common and it's so heartbreaking, especially for those who have been trying for a long time.
I also had a little car collision with a girl I work this morning which proper shook us up and of course made me worry about baby! But it wasn't bad, just gave us both a fright!
'Today, I am pregnant!' (love this❤️)

MamaSJ15 · 09/11/2022 13:13

@Chaoscontrol think we're at the same at 4+2 today. Line is definitely darker on today's! I was a little worried that my FRER was a bit lighter today than Monday nights but I think I'm just being overly anxious. It was a different time of day too which can make a difference. Will attach photo. Bottom was this morning's. It has dried a little darker since this photo I think.

We certainly are the same! 4w2d ✨
My easy at home was a strong positive line this morning with fmu so that's all I'm doing today, but of course i am over analysing every test. I need to just chill. easier said than done. Those lines look strong! I'm over anxious too. I am just trying to remember I have positive tests and no AF.
I have just had some frer delivered which I will leave till Friday and compare a weeks difference. 🤞🏻
Today, I am pregnant 🥰

Chaoscontrol · 09/11/2022 13:19

@MamaSJ15 i hope you are all okay from the collision too! Scary, but glad everyone was okay x

candycrush789 · 09/11/2022 13:24

I've just taken the bottom tests and it doesn't seen like my tests are progressing anymore 😞😞😞

@Chaoscontrol I started with an early at home test and the line was there but very faint, couldn't believe the difference between that and the frer test.
Yeah good idea to wait a week. Wish I could wait 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm gonna try now and wait a few more days before testing again.
Ahh thank you, yes we're both okay. Minor damage to both cars and were both fine 👍
I'm wondering how long to wait before contacting the doctor's surgery. I want to book an early scan at the epu due to my early losses previously but it has to be done through the go surgery. I know they won't scan until 6/7 weeks I less there's an issue.

MamaSJ15 · 09/11/2022 13:26

@candycrush789 they look good though! Not getting lighter which is a good sign. Only 13dpo so definitely a good line there. Maybe give it a few more days and do another if you can wait (I know it's easier said than done!)

Same as me! The frer was super strong and the easy at home was so faint I had yo use the flash to see it. It has got darker and appears quicker over the last 5 days though which is reassuring.
I reffered myself to a midwife on Monday and they advised they would contact me within 2 weeks. I'm very new to this so I have no idea what I should be doing haha Call them and just ask? No harm in it 😊

Nadinya · 09/11/2022 13:43

I've known now for over 2 weeks that I am pregnant and have been so anxious to be honest.
It has taken 4 years to get to this point and now that it is finally here it seems I have trouble accepting it if that makes sense. I am so worried and am extremely looking forward to the first ultrasound (private booking). Anyone else feel the same way? I couldn't be any happier but it doesn't really feel like it's real just yet

candycrush789 · 09/11/2022 13:45

@MamaSJ15 I've seen all these progressions etc and mine don't seem to be, I had a couple of days of spotting, 🤞 it's gone, mind you the last frer I took come just before I done a wee so I managed to squeeze out another wee to do the test do you think thays why? I'm not sure how many dpo I am, I had a miscarriage in Sept so my cycle is a bit messed up 🤦🏻‍♀️ jusr went by ewcm x

MamaSJ15 · 09/11/2022 13:45

@Chaoscontrol ah that's good. I might email the docs and see what they say. With my first I contacted them straight away but the first appointment isnt until 8 weeks so it feels like such a Long time to wait! That was 4 years ago though so a lot could have changed!
