@candycrush789 yeah I would say that colour spotting is okay. I know it's so hard not to panic but remember 'Today, I am pregnant'. Stay strong. We're all on the journey with you 😊 if you've got no pain then it's likely everything is normal. ❤️

I've managed to not test since my initial 2 tests a couple of weeks ago (much to dh's amazement!). I've not felt anything really other than a bit tired at the weekend but that could easily have been down to my poorly toddler. I'm going to do a 'weeks' test on Friday when I'm 6 weeks as I got the 3+ at that point last time.

Anyone else not feel remotely pregnant?

Welcome to everyone joining!

Early scan day tomorrow so excited, will be 7+1 😊

Symptoms so far have been mild, main ones being non stop sore boobs and fatigue (I go to bed and slip into a deep sleep in seconds and snore according to my DH).

Olegia · 16/11/2022 07:45

@shibeshibe Good luck! xx

I'm almost 7 weeks, and not gonna lie don't have many symptoms at all except: larger, sore boobs, and nausea that's only started yesterday

Balajake · 16/11/2022 09:01

My symptoms have been very sore boobs, tiredness and I'm just starving all the time. Even 10 minutes after having a meal I'm ravenous.ive never had extreme hunger this early in any of my pregnancies, infact I don't think I ever had it, or cravings. Strange how all pregnancies are different

I'm diabetic anyway so I've made sure I have safe foods in because if I get hungry I get nauseous which isn't nice. Midwives have already put me in insulin at bedtime because my numbers have gone right up the last week. I'm only 5+4.

Boonawoona · 16/11/2022 09:10

@squirrelnutkins1 I’m the same with both the testing and symptoms. I haven’t felt the urge to continuously test as I did with my last pregnancy. I expected to have lots of cramping and bloat at this stage. I have the odd twinge on my left side but nothing else yet.

inkworks273 · 16/11/2022 09:38

Hi ladies. Can I join please? I'm around 5 weeks. This will be no 2 for me 🤞

So far symptoms include sore boobs, bloating and peeing constantly. The sickness started around 6 weeks last time so I'm absolutely dreading it 😬

Hjudge56 · 16/11/2022 09:47

@candycrush789 I have also had that exactly colouring and amount of pink spotting over the course of a couple days.. and teamed with some cramping! But my tests have been getting darker so from what I’m reading and understanding it’s quite standard at the very beginning!!

Losti121623 · 16/11/2022 10:48

@Balajake I’m with you on the hunger! 😅 I’ve never known anything like it- my last two I was so nauseous the even the talk of food made green, yet at the moment I just want to eat everything! 😄 Hope the new insulin therapy goes well for you! It must be incredibly difficult trying to manage diabetes whilst in the throws of pregnancy, I feel for you! xx

s14a · 16/11/2022 10:53

My anxiety has gone through the roof today for no apparent reason.

I'm still symptomatic. I've not done a frer this morning because I didn't think it was necessary but I did do a one step which was just as dark as it was yesterday (and I know they aren't great with profession!)

I think it's probably because I'm getting to the point where I miscarried last time. Everytime I go to the bathroom I'm absolutely terrified of blood.

Freddie1987 · 16/11/2022 11:31

Hi everyone, I'm 5+5 with my 2nd! I'm also a bit nervous to join as I seem to be having such mild symptoms although I remember not having much nausea first time around. Fatigue is off the charts but is that just because I have a 2 year old to look after now and don't have the luxury of laying about most of the day?! haha.

How's everyone feeling today?

Hjudge56 · 16/11/2022 11:35

@Freddie1987 ah congratulations! I am 4+5 today so a week behind you! I keep getting the old mild cramp which I’m hoping is nothing! How are you?

leanneb94 · 16/11/2022 12:06

Cautiously joining! Would be 4 weeks 4 days today so very early on and my first pregnancy! Still 4 weeks until my first midwife appointment so hoping all goes well! I've just passed the point in which my period should have been so cautiously optimistic. Have had cramping feelings for the past 3 weeks on and off, bloating and the nausea has started kicking in first thing in the morning before I've eaten. Wishing everyone luck!

MamaSJ15 · 16/11/2022 13:07

@s14a I hope you're doing okay. Anxiety is such a horrible thing to deal with. Here if you need a chat 😊
Are you keeping yourself busy? Just remember, take one day at a time 'Today, I am pregnant'. ❤️

MamaSJ15 · 16/11/2022 13:09

@leanneb94 hello! Congratulations 😊
It seems like such a long wait before seeing the midwife doesn't it! I'm 5+2 today, have an early scan booked for 7+6 due to previous early losses I'm just after a bit of reassurance 😊 but it all feels a lot more normal time around so I'm hopeful ❤️

squirrelnutkins1 · 16/11/2022 13:36

When are people phoning the GP? I've not done it yet, feel like I don't dare, silly really!

I've booked a scan for 2nd Dec for some reassurance.

We've been very careful not to mention any pregnancy related words around our toddler but for the last week she has been soooooo clingy and affectionate and needy, it's almost like she knows!? Probably sounds crazy!

Yeah I'm trying to stay under 26g of carbs per meal whilst eating foods that keep me full longer. It's not easy lol

You can ring GP for the number of the midwife or you can self refer on a hospital website depending on which hospital you want to have all your care, and deliver baby at. Do some research on hospitals first though but don't take too long as it can take a few weeks to get appointments and you want your booking in before 12 weeks

squirrelnutkins1 · 16/11/2022 13:59

It's only been a couple of years but I've forgotten what to do 😂
Will give the gp a call tomorrow, they have a midwife there...well they did last time!

Definitely call!

I'm 4+4 today and had a call from my midwife booking me in for 6 weeks.

My 18 month old Definitely knows. He's super clingy and wanting to breastfeed more than usual.

cams88 · 16/11/2022 14:32

@squirrelnutkins1 I only tested because DS starting doing downward dog all the time and I googled it to see if it was something babies do to try and stand up unaided and read an old wives tale that it means you’re pregnant and they’re looking for their sibling so I thought I should probably test just in case. When I went to tell my boyfriend that I’d got bfp, DS grinned and started clapping as if he was like ‘finally, I’ve been trying to tell you guys for days’ 😂 I’m sure he was just feeding off our excitement but it was super cute!

leanneb94 · 16/11/2022 15:17

@MamaSJ15 thank you! You too! I'm thinking of booking an early scan also for around 9/10 weeks so just before christmas, thinking will be a lovely way to tell family with a photo if all goes well 🙂Its such a strange experience even so far for me with it being my first pregnancy

Freddie1987 · 16/11/2022 15:30

@squirrelnutkins1 that's so cute about your toddler and the old wives tale. I agree though, they seem to have a crazy understanding don't they. Mine now mentions the 'baby in mummy's tummy' every few days, even though I mentioned it like once as we looked at his scan photos that are framed outside his door! I'm trying to brush it off and not give it any attention yet. Kind of regretting saying anything now as he's also being super clingy and upset at nursery/childminder drop-off which he hasn't ever been so far, so they have definitely cottoned on to something....clever little things but must be so much for them to take in at such a young age.

@Hjudge56 please don't worry about the mild cramping. I had similar about a little over a week ago and a bit of spotting so was convinced my period was starting and it was actually implantation I think! I also get random little pulling and cramping sensations which I remember from first time around and it's basically your uterus beginning to stretch to accommodate everything :)

Hjudge56 · 16/11/2022 15:44

@Freddie1987 thanks for your reassurance!! The line has been getting darker on the FRER’s too so I need to chill lol!
