@polkadotdasies88 aw that's lovely 😊 yeah I bet it is difficult to measure so early on.
Seems I have a sinus infection but it's keeping me distracted 😂 feel rough and I don't know how much of it is pregnancy related and how much is sinus related. I know the hunger is pregnancy related but it hurts to eat sometimes because of the sinuses 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hjudge56 · 15/11/2022 10:35

Hey everyone! I hope I am okay to join.. I have got my BFP today on digital and am 4 weeks 4 days!

@MamaSJ15 great to see your name on here! When did you get you BFP?

Managed to get my first scan moved to a week earlier due to my spotting concerns. I will be 7 weeks on the dot by this Friday, but that's because I have a very long cycle (3 weeks follicular phase, 2 weeks luteal phase, as opposed to the 2 +2 that they calculate based on an average woman's cycle ), so since the growth only starts at conception I wonder if I will not actually be more like 6 weeks)

MamaSJ15 · 15/11/2022 11:58

@Hjudge56 yay!! Congratulations! I got my bfp about a week ago 😊 currently 5+1. How are you feeling?

Hjudge56 · 15/11/2022 12:09

@MamaSJ15 love that we have got ours the same month, congratulations! I’m a few days behind you!

I keep getting the odd cramp, feeling tired and got a bit of a cold! How are you, what have your symptoms been?

Fingers crossed you'll still get to see baby's heartbeat!
I think I was about 5+5 when I saw my daughters (I thought I was further!)

MamaSJ15 · 15/11/2022 13:08

@Hjudge56 it's lovely that we get to continue the journey together 😊

I started off with very slight spotting and light cramps the day before I tested then after that lower back ache on and off. Bloating is another big one! I feel so rough this week but that's because I've got a cold and sinus infection which is not fun. So with everything together I'm knackered 😂
Sorry, I can't remember, do you have any children or will this be your first?

Boonawoona · 15/11/2022 13:21

Hi everyone!

I’m exactly four weeks pregnant with baby no.2. NHS Due Date Calculator has estimated my due date as July 25th 2023.

DD is just under five months old, born June 22. I had a vaginal birth and I’m slightly nervous thinking about another birth so quick. I had a 2nd degree perennial tear with DD. Anyone any experience with two vaginal births one year apart?

I had severe nausea and vomiting for the first 20 weeks when pregnant with her. It started at 6 weeks and was very tough going. It’s probably likely I will experience something similar with this pregnancy.

None the less, excited to be doing it all again!

Coffeeforlife · 15/11/2022 13:32

Congrats the new joiners, everything crossed for healthy, happy journeys!

We've got a small Facebook group going if anyone would like to join, it's called Waterlilies (a birth flower of July) so if notifications pop up on your phone it's not obvious what it's about. The link is

If anyone would like to be an admin also just let me know x

Hjudge56 · 15/11/2022 13:36

@MamaSJ15 it really is! And we’ve both got a cold 😂!

yes I’ve been been bloated too the last couple days! Just feel a bit uncomfortable I suppose which I’m guessing is hormones flooding in everywhere! No this is my first! I had a MC last year and a CP May this year so I’m praying for a sticky bean!

MendaciousMabel · 15/11/2022 13:41

Hello! I don't think I've commented on this thread yet - I'm 6+6 or thereabouts. I have an early private scan at the weekend as I just need to settle my mind that things are going as they should be. First time pregnant so no idea what to expect lol main thing I'm struggling with atm is nausea 😩I've just joined the fb group, looking forward to getting to know people!

MamaSJ15 · 15/11/2022 14:00

@Hjudge56 yeah bloating was one of my first main symptoms when I was pregnant with my DD, I got it really bad along with painful trapped wind. I didn't get too much nausea with pregnancy 1, just the odd bout but keeping food with me at all times helps that 😂 so I'm hoping I'll be the same this time too.

candycrush789 · 15/11/2022 14:01

I got my 3+ today 🥰I'm only 4+5 so I'm guessing I must be more further then expected 🤷🏻‍♀️ who knows! Had a bit of pink spotting today after a cervix check which prompted me to take the test anyway despite me being 2-3 yesterday! Hope everyone is OK! Xx

That's amazing!

I'm now wondering about doing one because I'm 4+3/4+4 but I was trying to hold out until next monday!

candycrush789 · 15/11/2022 14:31

@s14a I done one yesterday and it was 2-3 so I was expecting 2-3 still was so amazed and happy to see 3+🥰🥰xx

Theirmumxx · 15/11/2022 17:07

Me too! I got my 2-3 on Sunday so was going to test again this Sunday! Really want to do it sooner but know I’ll panic if it’s not gone up!!! I’m 4w5d according to LMP xx

candycrush789 · 15/11/2022 18:06

I'm still spotting, pinky/red no cramps. I don't feel very confident 😞 has anyone got any success stories? Do you think it's cos I checked my cervix earlier? Just taken another frer, and I've got a 'dye stealer' is this all good signs I'm not having a mc right now. I had a mmc in September so I'm aware tests can be strong even without actually losing the baby. But surely this is a good sign right?? I carried heavy shopping earlier aswell x

Theirmumxx · 15/11/2022 18:11

What do you mean by cervix check hun? Xx

candycrush789 · 15/11/2022 18:34

With a sterilised finger I checked it, I only do this due to having lumps on my cervix I do it quite often, I'm not sure if this has affected my cervix 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have no pain, it's like this colour x

polkadotdasies88 · 15/11/2022 19:17

@candycrush789 I've been having v light pink spotting on and off since last Thursday. I went for a scan at the EPU yesterday and there was a little heartbeat and the consultant wasn't concerned about the spotting, unless it gets heavier / cramps. Obviously I'm still feeling very cautiously optimistic but just know you aren't alone. I'm 6w 3d ❤️

Hippomumma · 15/11/2022 19:26

Is anyone else so bloated they look 6 months pregnant already? Honestly, I just threw out my maternity leggings from last year and I really wish I hadn’t!

Losti121623 · 15/11/2022 19:48

@candycrush789 I’ve had the same light pink CM on/off for the past 5 days along with some very light cramping and twinges, I also remember having the same with my DS who is now 6 xx

candycrush789 · 15/11/2022 19:53

@Losti121623 have you that's reassuring! I got stronger tests today so I'm holding on to that. I have no pains 🤞 earlier it was more of a dark pink but now its just pale pink so hoping all is well. I'm bloody terrified x

Losti121623 · 15/11/2022 20:06

@candycrush789 darker tests sounds very reassuring! & I definitely get it, its so hard not to worry over everything we experience at the moment! But I’m trying to take reassurance from doing all I can to give baby the best chance at staying happy & healthy in there- there’s only so much that’s in our hands 🤞🏻 xx

Quirked · 15/11/2022 20:11

@Hippomumma I'm the same.. had to invest in some new underwear and leggings and I've only been wearing my loose tops and dresses! Only 7 weeks
