@ThePodParent congrats on your 3+!! And your little girl!

fingers crossed you don’t have the sickness this time! I’m hoping I only get sick in the evening 😂 that way I can hide it from work a bit longer! I’m going to stock up on almonds and mints. Thanks for the tips!

ThePodParent · 13/11/2022 09:07

@Spink2022 Thanks! Congrats on yours too - such a relief to see it!

Evening or no sickness would be great, wouldn’t it! I teach, so I’m dreading feeling sick at work. With DD my first trimester was over the summer holidays and with my MC I was on Mat Leave during the nauseous weeks so it’s my first time having to manage the 1st trimester at school. Tips on managing at work very welcome!

I teach too. I’ve had to hide a bin under my desk but I know the teenagers know already. It’s too early for people to know and it’s just so debilitating. I’ve been eating ginger nut biscuits during lessons and trying to set tasks that don’t include me as much.

littledinosaurs · 13/11/2022 11:46

Hey all. Just got a faint positive this morning. Super excited but obviously know there is a long way to go. Will be my second. Have got a DD who is 2.5.

Chaoscontrol · 13/11/2022 12:02

I might drop off this chain.
I woke up to some severe period cramps and pains today and some red, fairly heavy bleeding, which has continued for 4 hours now. I am waiting on a call back from the Dr.
My body feels different today. It felt strange last night. My tests never got super dark and I convinced myself it was normal, i just don't think the little bean stuck. 😢

Mortima · 13/11/2022 12:36

@Chaoscontrol Sorry to hear that Flowers I've had the same this weekend, started bleeding/cramping at 4w4d and test was almost negative yesterday - I definitely joined this thread prematurely. It's gutting - hope you're ok.
Best of luck to everyone else with their July babies 🙂

polkadotdasies88 · 13/11/2022 14:48

@Chaoscontrol Sending you so much love ❤️
I've been spotting since Thursday pink / red blood and I just don't have a good feeling at all. I'm off for a scan at EPU tomorrow morning and I'm bracing myself for the worst.

s14a · 13/11/2022 15:06

Sending everyone so much love and fingers crossed your babies are sticky.
I had a loss last month and know how awful it is to be in that limbo stage. Happy to chat to anyone if they want to.

99pctpractice · 13/11/2022 17:29

I'm sorry @Chaoscontrol and @Mortima and hoping for the best for you, I've been there and I know what a sad place it can be. Sending lots of big hugs 🫂

Totorotoes · 13/11/2022 18:24

@Chaoscontrol @Mortima @polkadotdasies88 so sorry to those of you who have suffered a loss or are going through uncertainty- @polkadotdasies88 hope your scan goes well and bean is still ok 🤞
I think it is everyone's worst fear and many of us have been there and know how awful it is, so I am sending big hugs to you ❤💔

Totorotoes · 13/11/2022 18:27

I am not one for positive affirmations normally (I find them a little twee!), but someone posted this on another group and I found it helpful so thought I would share.

@Chaoscontrol @Mortima I am so sorry, I really hope you guys are okay. It's such a horrible thing to happen. Fingers crossed for your sticky one very very soon ❤️❤️
@Totorotoes thank you for that, it's a lovely little thing to read ❤️

When did you all stop testing? Was it at the point of dye stealer or before?

I'm really not noticing much progression on FRER but am noticing loads with one step. I think testing is making me more anxious but then I also don't want to not test because that also fills me with anxiety.

I've ordered some CB date digitals to arrive today and they will hopefully show me 2-3 tomorrow where I'll be 4+2/4+3.

I've attached the one steps from this morning. Apologies for the dodgy angle! They don't focus otherwise!

I was testing twice a day with the cheapies and once a day with FRER for a week from getting my first faint positive. I bought one box of clear blue digital and did one 2 days after my first positive dated 1-2. Used my second digital on Saturday morning, one week from getting my first positive 4+2 and I got 2-3 weeks. I'm not going to buy any more tests now as I do think it can add to the anxiety of it all. I have some cheapies left but I'm going to try and not test. I'm just going to focus on eating healthy and giving it its best chance to grow.

ScarletDreams · 14/11/2022 10:18

I'm so so sorry to hear that some of you have started spotting/ bleeding.

Hows everybody feeling? I'm 4+4 today. I have no major symptoms yet. I still have tender boobs. But, for the last 2 weeks I have had milds cramps throughout. Not painful but just constantly mildly there. Also feeling bloated most of the time too, again not severe but enough to be constantly aware of feeling a bit uncomfortable. Any body else the same? This is my first pregnancy and I've read about early symptoms like cramps but I didn't think that I would feel noticeably different in myself so soon.

Sunny1986 · 14/11/2022 10:30

Tentatively joining after getting my bfp on FRER this morning (10dpo). Would put my due date at 27 July. This was when I got my positive with my little boy (just turned one!). I'm not going to get excited until period is late! My husband is extremely stressed at work at the moment so thinking I'll hold off telling him till he's having a good day - is that mean!?

Ellimn · 14/11/2022 11:35

Can anyone please help me here ? I'm 4w6d today and i had a chemical pregnancy last month. So I'm really anxious. I'm testing everyday with one step strips and my lines won't get any darker. I'm terrified of having a chemical again. I've read that one step don't get dark really fast , but these lines are driving me crazy...

i have no symptoms apart from being boiling all the time! I’m usually that girl that’s always freezing 😂😂 no sore boobs or sickness and had slight cramping last weeek which I’m putting down to implantation. I’d like a few symptoms they reassure me 🤣🤣 I’m 4w4d xx

Theirmumxx · 14/11/2022 11:37

On the bright side got my 2-3 today.

Honestly I've found I really struggle with one step.

They recommend not comparing them next to each other but comparing the ones that are 48 hours apart and that really helped me.

I haven't ever seen anyone say they get a dye stealer on a one step though!

MamaSJ15 · 14/11/2022 12:37

@s14a I did my last test on Saturday so would have been 4+5 then. I had done about 3 easy@home, 3 FRER and 2 CB digis. Once I'd got a dye stealer on the FRER and a 2-3 on CB I was happy to stop. Got no more tests in the house now so no more temptation! I'm going with 'Today, I am pregnant'. Just remember the dates on the CB aren't always accurate so if it doesn't yet say 2-3 then don't panic and just give it a few more days. But your lines all look good so I'm sure it will show by now.
@Theirmumxx oh I'm not wishing for any symptoms 😂 I'm 5 wks today and I've just been having on and off lower back ache and been very hungry haha. But I've also had a horrible cold and sinus pain so that's keeping me occupied anyway haha

MamaSJ15 · 14/11/2022 12:40

@ScarletDreams I've definitely been feeling the bloating! I literally looked a few months pregnant last night because of the bloating 😂 it's on and off though so good that's it's not all the time. This was a big first symptom in the first pregnancy too. Along with lower back ache.

Balajake · 14/11/2022 12:44

The cheapies take ages to go dark. Mine only started to really go dark after 16 dpo. I'm 22dpo and my cheapies are finally dark

I'm 4 weeks and 4 days and for the past 3 days I've had cramps. I think there more bowel related because there above my belly button. But there so uncomfortable and can be painful. It's mainly down my left side, I'm not really worried about ectopic as it is central aswell and to be honest feels more muscular. Does anyone have any advice? I've got a killer back ache today (just finished work) I've taken another cb digi just to check if ny hcg was going down due to these cramps and its still at 2-3 🙌🙌 I got some lactalose from chemist tomorrow I'm hoping this helps but in the meantime any advice?? Xx

Theirmumxx · 14/11/2022 14:31

Baby is making room for itself. Everything is stretching and moving around and this can cause cramps like u mentioned! 🥰xxx
