Just starting a new thread for everyone 💕💙

My scan went well, nice to see baby wriggling around in there! No clear pictures though. Just got to wait for the screening results now!

@Tamara93 I'd say that definitely only looks like 1 in there, the bit to the side won't be your uterus it will be some other part of your abdomen

@lj2022 is this your first baby? Honestly don’t read too much into the scan photos, wait until you know for sure then go out and buy a few cute baby grows to get yourself excited! The thing is it won’t just be ‘a boy’ or ‘a girl’ it’ll be YOUR baby, and you’ll feel like you’ve known them forever!

does anyone else get the scan report via an app? I didn’t get the letter with the centiles etc today, but she said they’d go on the app soon. I wanted a letter to pore over!

@Cuppasoupmonster yep this is my first! I know I'll love it either way and it is only slight disappointment I felt. Think no matter what there's always a slight preference

@Cuppasoupmonster lovely scan! I’m so jealous of everyone’s pretty scan pictures, mine looks a bit odd to say it nicely in comparison 😅.

@lj2022 I’m convinced that I’m having a boy too. I am also girly and would love a girl but happy either way. But the thought of raising a boy, I never imagined myself doing so and feel like I don’t really know what to do with a boy, more so when they’re over 10 y/o 😂

I seem to have bad luck at 12 week scans and get the most blurry, weirdly positioned pictures. I don't care about nub theory so it doesn't really matter, seeing them wriggle around on the screen is the best part anyway!

@Chocolat so glad you feel the same! I've said from the start I'm not overly fussed either way but always lean slightly towards a girl. I think because I come from a massive family of girls aswell on my mums side there's 6 girls and 1 boy from my cousins so that probably has some influence over me! I'm the same I've always visualised myself with a daughter for some reason but either way I'll be over the moon with a happy healthy baby.

Booked my gender scan for 22nd at 10am, eek! Part of me is doing it just so I can get all the little clothes down from the loft and start sifting through them 😆

@J1290 yes we got to see a heartbeat. I was pregnant just before this pregnancy so I've technically not had a period between so I'm so nervous about this pregnancy. I keep thinking the worst.

@Tamara93 I was the same, got pregnant this time straight after a miscarriage. All seems to be going ok so far! Had a scan at 11 weeks and will have my NHS dating scan on Thurs 🤞😊 how many weeks are you?

@Skylark1990 I am so paranoid, I'm constantly checking incase I'm bleeding and worry about every little pain. I'm only 7 weeks so it feels like every day is dragging in to get over the "highest miscarriage rate" stage. Let me know how your scan goes :)

@Tamara93 I know how you feel, it's a very anxious time 🌷 but hopefully this one is the one. It's good you had a scan and saw a hb! How many weeks was your last miscarriage at?

@ancienthouse fab, mine went well too. I'm exhausted now, just the consequences of being so ready for bad news I guess!
Got some pics but she was being a little bugger for the sonographer and facing the wrong way and kept curling up.
@Chocolat @lj2022 my son is now 14 and still such an absolute joy, plus my girl isn't a girly girl anyway. You'll find them wonderful whatever their sex and age honestly 🥰 even my stinky, antisocial teenage boy told me I was an A1 mum yesterday cause I bought him a small hairspray for school and helped him curl his hair with my ghd's 🙄😂

@MrsC2018 aww how lovely to hear, haha at your teenager 😂 thank you for that, you are definitely right, they will be wonderful regardless of gender 🥰

@MrsC2018 glad your scan went well! It's such a relief but yeah, I'm exhausted too from all the worry. I've been really sick today as well probably because I was so nervous.

Does anyone else feel their bump is shrinking? Not sure if I should be worried, or whether I’m finally over the ridiculous bloating I had

@cheekysausage, this! I thought I had a little bump a couple of weeks ago, but not anymore. Just a very tiny rise in the lower abdomen and that's it. I hope it's just that the bloating had reduced... Makes me v worried about the little one growing okay in there.

@cheekysausage hi hun, I was massive at the beginning and now I don’t look pregnant at all as progesterone has obviously settled down. I had a scan last Thursday and all was wonderful so don’t fret. ☺️

im hoping the NIPT test comes back this week but I think it will be next week realistically. Fingers crossed for that. Xx

@Skylark1990 I was around 5 weeks when I had my miscarriage, what about you? I just can't wait to finally feel excited instead of anxious xx

Congrats on everyone’s 12 week scan pics I love seeing them so much they are all just so lovely! @DBS94 i am 13 weeks today too and due 11th April :) . OH was considering going on a friends stag weekend in another country on 25th March… is he thinking straight??? I’ve made my views clear on that one and he’s quickly changed his mind lol not that I want to be naggy but seriously I’ll be 38 weeks and my son came early.

I have come down with a flu type virus and it is horrendous!! I’ve never felt so unwell in my life I’m sure everything is heightened whilst pregnant! Just hoping little babba is ok and protected in there while I’m drinking as much fluid as I can keep down.

Checking in. Nearly 11 weeks. It’s twins 🙈. Booking in appointment this week and 12 week scan next week
