great news about the scans - and how amazing to see it's a boy already - is daddy saying baby takes after him now amd that's why it's so obvious already?

I've got an appointment to see the GP tomorrow, and I'm going to beg for an early scan - I'm only 6+1 today, and the mc happened around 11 weeks, so not sure if they will. My sister has a friend who had 2 mc, a baby, another mc, and when she was pg again, they refused to scan her early as she hadn't had 2 consecutive mc, so they didn't see that she had any greater risk than anyone else. Even if that's true, surely they could have given her 1 to ease her anxiety????

all is well with us. My beautiful son Xavier is an adorable baby and I feel so blessed. Unfortunatley, he likes to feed all night so I am like a Zombie and haven't managed to get back on MN yet since he was born. Please do send everyone my love.....

Mornin' all - had to get off MN yesterday to do irritating things like cook tea and do washing and spend time with family.

splishsplosh - I would ring up and cry at them if I were you. Always works for me. Or go in and cry - even better in person. Seriously though - if you explain how anxious you are I'm sure they will be nice and scan you. Best of luck anyhoo.

is it ok if i join? i have had two m/c though my recent pregnancy ended up with my 11 month son. never thought it would happen as i bled throughout first and most of second trimester. i am on this thread as just recently found out i am pregnant again at a mere 5 weeks and already checking the undies!! i am worried as my missed m/c had no bleeding yet terrible cramps which is all i have in this pregnancy at the moment and no symptoms.
congrats to all those ladies who are expecting shortly and all the best to those who have recently conceived.

oooo im now only number 8 on the list! how the hell did that happen seems to be about 5 of us due at the same(ish) time, shall we place bets?

Morning all. I can't believe I'm about to type this...

Went for a scan this morning to confirm my 2nd mc. Doctor had already confirmed it with falling blood levels last week so really it was just a formailty to try to get them to book me in for an erpc as soon as poss. Should have been 6+5 today.

So, had the scan... and am measuring 6+5 today with a good heartbeat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't believe it!!!! I have never experienced such a rollercoaster before. Really don't know what to think now. Didn't see anyone at the hosp after the scan - sonographer was lovely and explained things brilliantly, let me look at the heartbeat for ages - would have stayed all day if she'd let me Plus I didn't want to see the witch nurse I saw last time who kept going on about 'nature being very cruel sometimes' and 'long slow progress resulting eventually coming to nothing'. Sonographer reckoned there was no point me seeing her anyway so was glad to follow her advice!

But I don't know what to think now... She said everything looks good, showed me the yolk sac, the corpus luteum, and something else that I can't remember the name of, shows up like a halo outside the sac. Said that was good too.

So where do I go from here?!??!??! My doc isn't working today but I've left a message with the surgery to call me... What would you advise? PLEASE HELP!!! Am going mad.... [terrified emoticon] but also [very cautious emoticon]
