sorry TS - remembered that you were having a boy late last night - I blame my insane prego brain. I couldn't remember the way to my mate's house today and spent 5 minutes staring at someone elses house witht he 'wrong' number on the door before I realised I was on the wrong street............

aw Jules. How lovely.

ooh what kind of steriliser on sale at tescos???

Rainrain - yes, I know what you mean about them being so different in a year. I have no idea how my dd would react if we now told her there was a problem with baby. I'm sure she would be distraught like she had lost something. We never mentioned the pregs last year (my mcs were between 5 and 6 weeks) but at a guess she would have ben more accepting and "whatever" than she would now. So hard - you want to protect them but also can't keep them in the dark forever. I'm impressed that we managed to keep schtum and not tell dd til i was 16 week

OMG...

How am I going to get thru this.......
Sounds odd (I think) but I keep having to check I feel as though I am leaking and on checking am bone dry . This is driving me insane. I'm only 6 weeks today... got to 6+6 last time.... This is so hard.. Am taking it mega easy but wednesday just seems ages away... I have a scan booked for 0930hrs. I am praying for a heartbeat... I keep rubbing belly and telling beanie to hang on...I hope he is listening..

(CHILL..CHILL.....) Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

SKIDS have gone bowling and me and DH are home alone...He is watching some SAS series on SKY...
Am waiting for Ant and Dec to come on then thats me settled for the evening.

Enjoy the weekend ladies

rainrain · 23/02/2008 20:44

Right there with you oinker. Hard to chill out. Have spent the afternoon looking at holiday cottages tho', which has taken my mind off it all - focusing on something else .

Just trying to decide weather to splash saved cash on a private scan to find out once and for all (all 3 m/c's were 'missed' for a couple of weeks, and I just NEED TO KNOW)

Seems like forever to wait for 12 week dating scan (although in real life it is only about 3 weeks

ronshar · 23/02/2008 21:58

Jules I love Eleanor. It is a beautiful name and I am sure your little girl will fit her name perfectly. Buying stuff already, make sure you keep a list of the things you have already bought. I remember with my first DD I went out and bought bits all the time. When the poor thing arrived she had to share her room with loads of stuff, most of which we didnt need.

Does anyone think we will make it past these first few months without driving ourselves crazy? I am sure I am getting worse than normal, which for me is an effort.

My rubbish feelings are now extending to all day. I dont want to eat anything much less cook it. My dinner this evening was two packs of super noodles. I now feel sick because of that as well! Mind you I did force down a jaffa cake.

Neenz. I am trying to work out your real name. Shows how crap I am as I can't get past Nina.

Tjuice, you have fab hair even if it were a little less caramel it would still be cool.

becklespeckle · 24/02/2008 00:26

Hello all, hope that everyone is okay!

Jules, congrats on your little missy! DD was very nearly Eleanor, its a fab name! We only changed our 'girl choice' to Evie a couple of weeks before she arrived!
Have only had a quick skim through, been off for a week or so as boys & DD have been keeping me very busy (no complaints though, its all worth it) so hope you are all healthy and well.

Keeping everything crossed for you Oinker, boring as it is, keep those feet up and rest, rest, rest. With any luck in 8 months or so you will be wishing for more arse time!

Hi *Popsy, hows it going for you?

Big waves to everyone else, am losing track now but who is due to graduate next?

TwilightSurfer · 24/02/2008 01:45

JustJules, Eleanor is my MIL's name and even though we are 80% sure this one's a boy she still keeps calling it Eleanor...she did the same thing when I was pregnant with my DD. We liked the name Eleanor but we loved Kinsley more....

DonDons I'm horrible with memory clouds. I have notes to myself EVERYWHERE to help but still find I've done odd things like put something belonging in the fridge away in the cupboard (& viceversa).

Neenzandhertwinbeans HI I've been meaning to pop over to the DueJune thread and say hello to everyone. It's so odd to now be due two months exactly after my first due date.

Just a little personal update: 15+0 today. It's my 37th birthday!! Had my first prenatal massage today!!!! Started prenatal yoga last week...every Sunday from here out. Felt baby move a few times this week. Still experiencing MS. Headaches and faintness have become common elements of each day (they don't last long but typically require a nap). Aches and pains are intermittent as my belly seems to be growing twice as fast as before. Next major scan in just over a week where I'll get the 100% snap that I'm carrying a boy (i've already seen the jewels but whatever). This pregnancy is a far cry from my last where I lost it at 9+6. It's been totally textbook!!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!
PEACE

Anybody else up yet?

Me and the dog here.....

SKIDS and DDH still sleeping.
I have been up a while. Never get a full nights sleep. Am up about 4 times checking. Still nothing I have got into a routine of injecting the heparin at 0730ish so I get up around then every morning. I am too scared to delay it just incase things get blocked. i have no idea how it works really. I am even to scared to inject to low on tummy because of the extra layers of fat.. The extra inch I can pinch is more like two/three.... Prof said injecting either side of belly button is fab. So I will be doing that until the end.

Have already put the gammon in the slow cooker and peeled the potatoes for lunch.
I have family over today (just 4 nephews and BIL) Chelsea is on SKY and they don't have it so the kids were told to ask me nicely. It worked...I'm a sucker for cuddles and kisses..

rainrain · 24/02/2008 09:08

Morning all. DD watching and Dora, DP sleeping and don't have a good book at the mo (and no motivation for other jobs I should be doing!).
Oinker are you on aspirin and herapin? All the investigations they did on me showed up nothing at all, but they still recommended aspirin.
JustJules - lovely name to choose - we have an Ella...
hope you all have lovely Sunday.

LOL Ronshar - you got my name right first time! Check out your facebook page - I have asked you to be my friend...

Anyone else on Facebook? Search for 'mumsnet' under groups and join the one which is the main mn one - it has about 700 members. then go to 'what's your mn name?' and search through to find people you know!

Neenzandhertwinbeans · 24/02/2008 12:53

Hey Twilight, great to know you didn't have to wait long before falling PG again - pop over to due in June any time!

TwilightSurfer · 24/02/2008 15:16

I just requested to join the Facebook Mumsnet group. I LOVE Facebook.

kate2179 · 24/02/2008 18:12

Hello ladies, goodness you've all been busy, took me ages to catch up

Having a pretty tough time here still, another red wipe at 3am this morning when I woke up to go to the loo then some brown the rest of the day. I also feel a little crampy, can't quite put my finger on it, am hoping it's growing pains but THIS IS SO HARD!!

Going to call EPU tomorrow and see about another scan. Ideally would like to leave it a few days as last scan was only last monday. I should be 10 weeks on thursday so if I'm ok at 10 weeks maybe I'll be able to relax a little bit... DH reckons it's all fine and that I may just be one of those women who bleed all the way through... Hope he's right about the first part but wrong about the second

Would love to join you all on facebook, but I don't want to join the mumsnet group, I have a lot of friends who are on there all the time and I suspect joining the mumsnet group would be like setting up a neon sign saying I AM PREGNANT! I only hope I still am...

Went to a christening today, I've never seen so many children and babies in one place. Found the service very emotional and had to steal a tissue. DH was sat on the other side of the church being an important god-parent which was probably a good thing as I had to pull myself together. Still feel very emotional about it now, probably not helped that I never really got back to sleep after I woke at 3am and saw the red wipe.... This is the most mentally and physically exhausting thing I have ever experienced...

Healthy & well, healthy & well...

neenzandhertwinbeans just been looking at the facebook group... does your surname start with the letter K? Profile photo with a blue top and post haircut? If it's you I'll ask to be your friend without joining the group if that's ok..? You'll know it's me as my talk name on here isn't exactly subtle!

kate2179 · 24/02/2008 18:26

Cross posts jules, thanks for your message. I can't really get time off work at the moment but it shouldn't be very stressful for the next few weeks, the guy I'm working with/for knows the score and about the most challenging thing I had to do last week was decide which sandwich he might like for lunch We need the money and it makes the time go quicker. Just hoping hoping hoping I dodn't have to end up taking time off with a mc...
If I thought it would make any difference I'd bin it without hesitation - I practically cleared my diary for 3 weeks before this case started but his is something I want and ought to do.

DonDons · 24/02/2008 19:27

Happy Birthday TS!
