oinker Fingers crossed that this time works out for you. I can't even begin to imagine the grief of 6 m/cs . Prof Regan is supposed to be the tops though - I have her book and it is great - so you are definitely in good hands.

Popsy I'm on the progesterone "supplements" () too, cyclogest 200mg to be exact. I know that medical opinion is very much divided on whether there is any benefit in taking them, Prof Regan and Co at St Mary's don't support it. But what everyone seems to agree is that now they are biochemically identical to human progesterone they def won't do any harm, so worth a go as far as I can see! The main reason I'm taking them is that right at the beginning of this pg (all of 3 and a bit weeks ago - feels like a lifetime!) my hcg rose well but my progesterone started falling quite sharply. So as far as I can see it's worth a go. All I know is that at my scan at 6+5 I saw a baby with a heartbeat measuring exactly right for dates when I'd been TOLD the pg was def failing almost a week before that. So while I don't know if that has anything to do with the cyclogest, I'm not about to stop taking it now! In fact the only reason I continued it between the final blood test and the scan was because I desperately didn't want to mc at home, so glad I didn't stop taking it! Really hope it works out for both of us this time! ((hugs))

Hope some of you still remember me. My now not so little ds is 6 months this week. Can't believe how fast it's going now, but I still remember those agonizing first few weeks.

re: Mrs Mc, Am I the only one that thinks it's weird that she has not made one post since birth , or even of the birth for that matter. I'm just a worry wart, I guess. Anyway i hope her ears burn and she comes and puts me out of my misery

I haven't been on for ages trying to keep busy and not panic at the slightest pain, ache, etc.

Had my first midwife appointment on Friday -not that impressed to be honest! She asked if I had any worries and said just about miscarrying and she said 'well if it happens it happens there is nothing you can do about it' very reassuring!!!

Now just have to wait until next Friday for my scan - keep dreaming that they aren't going to find anything must stay positive though.

I'm 11+1 today.

I had my scan today. No sign of beanie or sac. Womb lining is thick though. They reckon it is too soon to see anything on the scan. Consultant very positive. Womb is correct thickness for dates. They reckon I am about 4weeks 4days. I tested on day 28 of my cycle and it was negative. Tested on day 30 and it was a faint positive. I reckon I must have had the dates wrong.
I am back in for a scan on Wednesday morning.
