I've just found out I'm expecting my second baby the first week of June 2023 - anyone else? Early days, so being cautious, but can't help feeling excited!

@BellaTheDarkOverlord & ALL Mummies-to-be here, please remember to take L-arginine EVERY MORNING. Order it on Amazon, if you don't have it. It is cheaper on subscription by the way. My friend - pharmacist has recommended it for me during conception period, but it should be used also during Pregnancy, as it is improving the Growth of PLACENTA! You can do own research, no side effects, as it is an Amino Acid that is absolutely helpful to strengthen the bond via improved vascular growth within Placenta. Read about it in Google please to understand it. I hope this little big tip may help to avoid potential miscarriages, as we can help our embryos to have the best Placenta ever! Of course on top of other supplements that we take anyway xxx Happy Weekend dear Mums&Baby-Bumps, warm regards from Chigwell (Edge of London - Essex) xxx

Me too!! First pregnancy I'm due 1 June! It's all very new to me and feel a bit out of my depth! Need to register with a hospital but have no idea what I'm meant to be looking for. Any help appreciated!!

ExcitedandNervousC1 · 08/10/2022 16:29

Welcome all new joiners and congrats! @BellaTheDarkOverlord so delighted the spotting has stopped, it sounds very common from what I've read so fingers crossed you're on track for you a lovely healthy pregnancy now!

I'm 4+2 now and omg...Time is going so slow!!! Im going to the GP Monday which will be 4+4 and then will book an early scan as close to 8 weeks as I can so I can hopefully tell my mom at least afterwards! I am so fatigued and emotional already though! Getting that foggy brain where I cant think! Anyone else?

Quokka7 · 08/10/2022 18:00

@Tor88 Welcome. There are a few of us in a similar situation in this group expecting again after loss. This will hopefully be our first too. My AMH was 4 this time last year so I understand the worry about time. I'm a bit older than you, so will be happy if we can just have the one now! Its been a long journey watching others start and expand their families whilst weve been struggling to even get pregnant, let alone have a successful pregnancy.

@DrinkingAllTheGin @Tor88 I'm staying a bit quieter this time with telling people. Our friends and family were so supportive last time, but for some reason I feel like I dont want to be as open about it and have them feel sorry for me all over again if it goes wrong. I'm hoping I can surprise them with a successful scan photo🤞

@ExcitedandNervousC1 totally agree about time going slow! I've not been too foggy thankfully!

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 08/10/2022 18:20

Getting the spotting again. It seems to only come in the evenings. No pain. Not really any symptoms currently except when my boobs touch anything they are really sore. Going to maybe look at booking a test for around 7 weeks for reassurance.

B1993 · 08/10/2022 20:32

@BellaTheDarkOverlord sorry it’s returned 💔 Hopefully it doesn’t progress and you can can get some reassurance from an early scan! How far off 7 weeks are you now?

Algor1thm · 08/10/2022 20:41

@NalaNana so glad to hear that baby is in the right place! That must be such a relief for you! My EPU scan is in 5 days and I'm very nervous but hopeful 🤞🏻 I'll be 6+2 so hoping for a heartbeat possibly!

Welcome to all the new joiners, and congratulations!

Some amazing success stories after trying for so long. Always humbling to hear how hard some people try. Wishing you all the best of luck 💕

I'm 5+1 weeks today. I had this with first pregnancy and she's now 7. Hopefully it turns out the same.

B1993 · 09/10/2022 07:10

@Algor1thm Our scans must be the same day? Mine is Thursday morning. If I've calculated my ovulation right, I'll be 6+1 though. I was dated at 6+2 at my son's early scan and could see a heartbeat! 💗 It's was done transvaginally though as they couldn't see anything abdominally. My husband actually found the photo we got the other day 💖😍

@BellaTheDarkOverlord It sounds very promising if you've had similar experiences before and everything worked out well 💜

Veryxonfused · 09/10/2022 08:23

Has anyone else been spotting for several days? I’ve been spotting now since Wednesday. They did tell me at the scan to expect bleeding to continue as they could see it next to the sac, but it’s still scary. It’s still brown and only really when I wipe but it’s going on for much longer than my last pregnancy which was a MMC. Every night I go to bed and expect to wake up in a pool of blood 🤦‍♀️

B1993 · 09/10/2022 09:07

@Veryxonfused I know you must be feeling really anxious but it sounds like it's not effecting the baby/pregnancy so try not to worry too much (I know its easier said than done). SCHs are common in lots of pregnancies and, while they can be scary, aren't a cause of concern. 💜

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 09/10/2022 09:25

@Veryxonfused I've got it too. On and off bleeding. Hopefully we'll be ok and it's just a bit of excess blood. Fingers crossed for us both x

Algor1thm · 09/10/2022 09:56

@B1993 yes Thursday 😬 Best of luck to you too! I had a scan at a similar time with my first and saw a faint heartbeat then, so I have every hope. I haven't had any spotting for a couple of weeks now 🤞🏻

OP posts:
B1993 · 09/10/2022 10:19

@Algor1thm I'm hopeful too, after seeing a heartbeat at 6+2 with my first. Also not had any bleeding for a couple of weeks. Hopefully we'll both be able to share some great news next week then! 🤞🏻💗

VikingsandDragons · 09/10/2022 12:59

Not feeling so hopeful today. Only 4+4 but my test this morning the line is almost non-existent, I've had some bleeding too (although old blood not fresh). This baby is so very much wanted after 5 years trying. I'm absolutely gutted although trying not to show it, my 11 year old must know something is up though as she's just wanted to cuddle and read with me all morning whereas usually she always has a lego to build or a craft project or something to code on the go.

B1993 · 09/10/2022 13:34

@VikingsandDragons I'm so sorry your going through this. I had an early loss at the end of August and it was devastating 💔 Be kind to yourself and know that it does get easier with time. It sounds like your daughter knows you need some extra TLC and is supporting you in her own way. ❤️‍🩹 We're all still here if you ever need it.

ellie74x · 09/10/2022 15:29

Hey everyone! almost a week ago I found out I was pregnant! I’m 36 and me and my partner who is 41 have only been trying since august so I’m aware we are so so lucky and now it’s all a bit of a shock.

now I have found out I am worrying every day that something awful is going to happen, I’m testing every day which I know isn’t healthy but I love that little bit of reassurance that the line is darker! Is anyone in the same boat? Symptoms are sore boobs and low abdominal cramps on and off like a period cramp! I’m due June 20th!

ellie74x · 09/10/2022 15:31

@VikingsandDragons im so sorry I have just read your above message and now feel super rude! I’m so sorry you are going through this 🙁🙁 xxx

Tor88 · 09/10/2022 16:34

@Quokka7 thanks so much 🧡 Gosh your journey sounds so tough. I've only been going through this for a year but I've already found pregnancy announcements extremely difficult

@B1993 I got my 3+ yesterday so that's made me feel so hopeful 🙏 Last time I got 2-3 weeks at this point and miscarried a few days later. The one before I also got 2-3 at this point but I think my app may have been slightly out then as our 8 week scan looked good so I know it developed long beyond that point before going wrong! Anyway, it's made me feel v hopeful that perhaps this one is somehow 'stronger' and more likely to stick... Just gotta get through to the wed scan for now...

Tor88 · 09/10/2022 16:35

@VikingsandDragons sending love 💔💔

Tor88 · 09/10/2022 16:36

@ellie74x welcome and congratulations 💞 there's lots of us on here that are finding the journey extremely nerve wracking, I was that way before I'd had any miscarriages so I think that just is the way with early pregnancy!! Just one day at a time 🙏

Mayfield87 · 09/10/2022 19:40

Hi can I join? Got my BFP today at 11dpo. Due date from the apps say 22/23rd June. This will be my 2nd child ❤️

outinthesun · 09/10/2022 19:54

Hi everyone :)

BFP last week EDD is 18th June

Hoping for a scan at 6 weeks due to previous losses

Looking forward to seeing everyone's journey although mine is terrifying up until I've seen a heartbeat

B1993 · 09/10/2022 20:39

Congratulations to the new joiners 🥳 I think it's really normal to feel anxious - with my son I don't think it ever stopped. And then, of course, when they arrive you find new things to worry about.

@ellie74x I can totally relate! I was expecting my 3+ Wednesday this week so when I didn't get it then, I panicked. Luckily when I tested on Friday, I got it. It was a huge sense of relief for me too 🥲

How is everyone doing symptom wise? I've had mild neasea for the last few days, at least. It comes morning, noon and night 🙈 It's new territory as I felt nauseous only a handful of times my entire pregnancy with my DS. Hoping it doesn't progress beyond this as it's quite manageable right now as, like I said, it's still mild.
