Morning all

Dex did another stupendous sleep... had to wake him up to feed him and take DC to school. Fingers crossed this is a pattern he is going to stick to.

Fettle- hope Toby is ok with the jabs... Dex has got his 2nd lot next week. What is the third injection for? Did they do the polio one in his mouth yet? Dex only had 2 jabs first time around. That Messiah was a bit gruesome!

mrs- any action overnight?

Seaside and Iampg- a lot of the lovely ladies on here were early- Bodders you were 38 wks, i think??

Sorry- so excited about the pending births that I cant remember what I was going to say to anyone else!

Hi all

so much to say and so little time!!!!

greedy - I am so sorry about your sis hon - TTC sucks and is so full of heartbreak for so many, she was so close with her booking in appt etc big hugs xxx
LOL about ellis and his multiple brides! Loved the pic of Marcy.

Bodders - poor Isla and her dodgy tum hope it gets better soon.

honey - Seaton is still quite far from me (about 1.5 hours) but I would so recommend the Eden Project - it is fabulous. Maybe I could meet you there!! That is about 50 mins from me!!

Iammummy - having absolutely the same as you with Cassius - just think we have a routine - for three days - then it all changes. Oh well - like everyone said they are still very young really and I am not going to stress too much about it yet, although regular sleeping patterns would be a dream (literally!!)

Chooster - from what I read bumpers are not recommended until 1 year due to air flow around cot and also because of the ties as has been said. But tbh I think you should just make a judgement call - after all surely stopping bruises on head is a good reason to have one!!

fettle - sorry about your friend

Hope everyone else is OK. All is well here. We are having a good day as he slept for nearly 12 hours last night (8.30pm-8am) with only one feed at 5am. I am sure it was a fluke as he had not slept/ had any naps all day yesterday. Unfortunately we did not take advantage as we kept waking up to check on him!! grrr! Anyway he has been a little star today - all smiley, he sat in his bouncy chair for an hour just watching me hoover and clean - his little eyes followed me everywhere. I really felt like he was my little mate today iykwim - awww. He is so easy to get smiling even when he is on the verge of tears I can turn i into a smile with a silly voice/googly talk or tickle

We had our NCT reunion last Saturday which was great - 7 babies lined up on the floor - endless amusement! And we have signed up for baby swim classes starting after Easter

Ok so I am going to start with some of my questions if that's OK:
For the bottle feeders (greedy, firsty, Iammum - is that all?)

  • What did/do you do about the feeds in the night - do you make up the whole bottle before bed and leave in fridge/cold then warm it up when you need it or do you just leave the water in a bottle in the fridge and then add the formula when you are ready? Or is there another way? I was making up the whole bottle but then read you are not supposed to do this??? so confusing?

Also - when I sterilise the bottles I put them in the fridge - I think they are OK there for 24 hours - does that sound right?

For everyone:
Cassius does this thing when he is restless (very annoying at 3am ) where he just violently kicks his arms and legs and grunts ( no crying just loud grunting!) sometimes for ages (like 30 mins plus with a few pauses maybe every 5 mins or so) is that weird??!! I cant figure out what it means/what he wants or maybe he is just fighting sleep??

I am sure I have loads more questions but brain is mush - am going to try and go to bed!

We are heading up to London for the weekend on Thursday (first big car trip??!) so if I dont get a chance to be online before - back next week.

Loads of love to all
xxxxx
ps - there is one old pic of Cassius at three weks on my prof - will try and add more now

cityangel · 11/03/2008 23:40

Hi everyone wow its been busy in here. Just sneaked in to post my scan pictures only one 20 week one as despite swinging round lampposts and eating a whole pack of fruit pastilles he didn't stop hiding his face with his hands. He had some good party tricks though stuck his fist in his mouth and then swallowed fluid in front of us! When I say he we think its a he but didn't find out the sex!

We are now in the realms of looking at baby equipment... first major decision chose the car seat! Won't actually buy anything until May... the mind boggles at the different options for equipment, feeding, sleeping, play etc.

I hope all your little babies are doing good and that tough times for Greedy and any others start to get better.

I canceled my membership of the NCT today as all their London courses in the nearest 3 areas are booked up Tomorrow we're off to see a nursery that has such a long waiting list we'll be lucky to get him on it for next Feb

Still pg wise going ok so far normal and more energy in the second trimester

no time for a proper post, sorry.

seaside...........i have never put the sterilised bottles with water in the fridge. just leave them on the side and tip the powder in and plonk in marcys mouth! that way they dont need to be warmed either.

cot bumpers - i knew there were some silly rules about them but couldn't think what they were! marcy has one, but only cos it matches her room and she doesnt move at all in the night! i will prob take it off when she starts mpving around, if she ever does!

greedygreedyguzzler · 12/03/2008 14:27

you need to change your details on your profile seaside............she does not have children indeed!!!!

seaside72 · 12/03/2008 15:42

great pics city!! - so exciting!

I know greedy - must change my profile

had another good night am so much happier and more productive/active when have had more than 3 hours sleep!!
The trick seems to be keeping him awake all day- he is asleep now and has been all the way around Tescos so am off to coax him out of deep slumber

lovely to see you firsty sorry no idea on the fluids- Cassius seems to take a bit of water from a bottle but not much and often just plays around with it in his mouth and then spits it back?!
xxx

iamamummy · 12/03/2008 19:05

hey ladies!

lovely pics city

seaside - at night i take 3 bottles up with me with boiled water in and leave them on the dressing table then when oscar wakes up i just add the formula and he drinks them at room temperature. although last couple of nights he hasnt woken to be fed just cuddled back to sleep!
about the violent arm throwing and kicking - oscar does exactly the same and its what wakes me up everynight i just pick him up and cuddle him until he settles back down again, his dummy also helps really well to calm him.

Oscar slept last night 10pm - 6am i kept waking though and checking on him as thought it was odd but he was totally fine just obviously very sleepy. we had his appointment with the plastic surgeon today about his willy, apparently the foreskin was stuck to his willy so the consultant pulled it back and gave it a good clean and told us to do this everytime we bathe him to stretch the skin. it needed a good clean, but i am leaving that job to df as it was a bit uncomfortable for him but the consultant said after a week he will be used to it

i am reuniting tomorrow night with the ladies from the nct homebirth group - i cant wait to see all their babies and i just know oscar is going to be a giant in comparison

thankyou all for reassuring me about the routine thing - my friends baby is like clockwork and i felt a bit of a failure not having that "control" with oscar - but if its normal then im not worried.

sending you all peaceful long night sleep vibes xx

iamamummy · 12/03/2008 19:07

oh forgot to say gorgeous pics of cassius seaside! xx

fettleandbabyfettle · 12/03/2008 20:11

Seaside - yet another gorgeous baby!!! Bottles, with DD we just brought the bottles of water upstairs and added the formula as and when. However, I've now discovered thanks to Mumsnet that you are supposed to make sure the water is at 70degC before adding the formula (although you can make up the bottles in advance and then heat them up when you need them before adding the formula). Something to do with formula not being sterile. Never did DD any harm though having them made up with cold water (albeit it previously boiled and with sterilised bottles).

As for the grunting, both my DC did exactly the same! and the both grew out of it, but it is pretty loud! Read a thread recently about a similar thing and someone's HV said that babies need to learn that they don't need to make so much effort to release wind, so it could be that - not sure myself. Either way, if you can I'd ignore him - Toby still doesn't really cry when he wakes, just groans - it is only when it gets pretty loud, or goes on for over 30 mins that I go and try and settle him.

Iamamummy - hello!! Have fun with your NCT friends - really wish I hadn't moved during both my pregnancies as I've never had that support of people with similar aged babies to see regularly - why I'm on here so much!!! How did you know there was something wrong with Oscar's foreskin? I leave Toby's well alone as told, but don't want any problems later.

Firsty!!!!!! Great to hear from you. It is hard working, but good you've got a week off coming up. I feel so much more relaxed now I've decided not to go back to work, but I do also wonder whether I'll miss it after a few months - but there is nothing stopping me finding another job if I have to later, I don't suppose. As to fluids, have you tried a very easy beaker, which basically just pours water out, so not sucking required? It might just give him an idea of what beakers are for? Toby immediately put his in his mouth as if he knew what to do with it and the water came out into his mouth. Admittedly most of it comes out again, but he'll get the hang of it (fettles hopes!!). TBH I think he's just using it as a teething cooler! And i haven't really tried him on it for a couple of weeks, must get back on at it, as he's 6 months next week and we'll be able to start slowly moving onto more interesting food!

Bodders - how is that week looking for you for our meet up?

Big waves to everyone else - hope you are all ok?

Had a pretty awful night last night - Toby woke at 9.30pm and I couldn't get him back to sleep til gone 1030pm with lots of milk, cuddles and finally calpol! He then woke at 1am, 3am and 5.30am (when I brought him into bed with me and he fed nicely and went back to sleep til 7am when DD arrived). DD woke at 4am, so I'm pretty exhausted today! DH is hopefully back tonight about 10pm, but will be tired after his drive down, so please send lots of sleeping vibes to us tonight!!!. I'm hoping it is his teeth and not something more permanent, as I'm not sure I can cope with that level of waking for much longer! Although his stomach is very noisy when I go to him, so it is either gurgling as it is a bit unsettled or it's rumbling because he's hungry, what do you all think? He still needs feeding every 3 hours during the day too - really should work on a bottle as that would probably help!

oh poo - gone on really long again - sorry! Trouble with having no adults to talk to!!

take care all and sleep well.

fettleandbabyfettle · 12/03/2008 20:12

oh and cityangel - such lovely photos!!! Really really clear! You must be getting really excited now?!

Rainbowy - how you doing? any signs? Hope this weather hasn't blown you away too much.
xxx

greedygreedyguzzler · 12/03/2008 20:54

OMG fettle!!!! how are you still walking around and sounding so chirpy after a night like that?...................my 3 always tend to play up when dh is away too though and you dont have a lot of choice really apart from to get on with it do you!!???

seaside and iamamummy - you will soon get used to your babes sleeping for long spells at night and wont wake every few hours yourself! i think once they have done it once you relax about them and know that they were completely fine and the next night you sleep through too!!!! glad to hear you both have babes who like to sleep at night ( dont tell the others though!!)

bodders - you ok? you dont seem to have been on much recently? has fettle scared you off with her talk of meeting up? are you scared you are going to have to come clean with dp?

i've had far too much wine tonight already! bad really, especially as i decided today to get back on my diet strictly!!!! i have lost 1 stone 1 lb since jan but only a couple of pounds in the last 6 weeks cos i ahvent been very strict. i MUST be slim by the the time i meet honey or she will report back what a lardarse i am!!!!!

anyway gotta go and watch holby city.....................how sad am i hey?

rainbowdays · 12/03/2008 21:20

I am tired just reading about all these sleepless babies, but then again it could also be my sleepless nights , oh the joys of loo trips and general aching from lugging around a big belly! I think I might be in denial about this baby arriving soon, as I keep saying I have 5 weeks to go, but in reality I only have 3+1/2 til due date and with the last two dc's arriving a couple of weeks early........ help!

My dh is currently completing a teacher training course and is in the middle of final assignments and has classes still to attend. I am wondering how I will manage in a couple of weeks time, driving 90 minuites to get to the airport to pick up my mum, as dh has a class to attend 60 minutes in the opposite direction...... this had better not be the day I go into labour

Sorry this is a very me me me message, but I am feeling very preggo brain, and despite reading all your posts, I have now gone and muddled up who said what, I need to go back and re-read it all again.

fettleandbabyfettle · 13/03/2008 08:26

Greedy - don't say that i've scared Bodders off - i'm not scary!

I've reached my next weight loss goal - lost the 7lbs I put on with my 2nd mc, so now the 7lbs I put on with the 1st mc to go next! But i'm 7lbs lighter than I was when I got pg with Toby, so I'm pretty impressed with myself!!

Last night was so bad I couldn't even tell you how many times I got up, but at least every two hours, with hourly wakings from 7.30pm til 10.30pm! Really don't know what is wrong with him (except he has an awful cough and very hard gums!!), unless my milk supply is drying up which I suspect it might be as I'm pretty sure AF has arrived last night (might be bleeding from my epiostomy, but I don't think so) - bit shocked, took nearly a year with DD and i'm breastfeeding Toby more than I did her, I'm sure! Worked out that with DH's trip to Iraq and my 2 mcs, he hasn't had to deal with an emotional, hormonal AF since sometime in 2005!! The joy of long cycles! Wonder what they will be like this time around - how are they for you Greedy? Better than before, or still mammoth?!

Rainbowy - you're supposed to be taking it easy!! Can someone else pick up your Mum, or at least can she drive you home from the airport?

Right - must go - don't want to be late for school!

take care all
xxx

Bodkin · 13/03/2008 15:29

Oh Greedy you are SUCH a stirrer Put that wooden spoon away NOW! Of course Fettle hasn't scared me off.... it's just that erm...

Nah, just got a bit of work on as i said, so my evening visits have had to be curtailed, and just, well, dunno how you lot do it really. Plus when I do come on, I quite often have a wander around the other threads that are vaguely relevant and then get sidetracked...

Anyway Fetts - that is really a tragedy about your last 2 duff night's kip.... what could be up with the little fella... can't believe your milk can be drying up if he is still feeding regularly - growth spurt? upset tummy? (that's what's been knackering Isla's sleep for the last week, or I hope that's what it is and it is not a permanent state of affairs) teeth? Brandish the Medised tonight if he's still at it
Re our meet up... sorry, have cloth brain, but w/c 7th April is no longer easter hols for me, so it would be a bit tricky. So would prefer either w/c 24/3 or w/c 31/3. We'll email.

Firsty - good to hear from you and that Ty is sleeping a bit better for you. Sounds like you are very busy at work - no lunch break? that's scandalous! How on earth do they expect you to get any mumsnetting done Didn't you used to come on quite a lot in the day before you had Ty though - have they cracked down on you?

Iamamummy - don;t worry about a routine... I still haven't got one, except that at some point between 5am and 7am she will wake up for the day, and at some point between 6pm and 7.30pm she will go to bed for the night. Throw in 2 or 3 naps in the day, and about 4 feeds, and whatever meagre scraps of food I can persuade her to eat and there you have it! I decided that in many ways the most exhausting thing about having a baby is trying to plot and plan things and have some control over the situation...some people manage it, but I've never been very successful. maybe it's easier with bottles than with BF though.

Seaside - Cassius is a poppet! - can't believe he's smiling already, feels like you only had him a couple of weeks ago - he sounds like a pretty chilled out little lad.

Cityangel - great scan pics! Can't believe the waiting list for the nursery though what a mare!

Chooster - sorry Theo's going backwards with the sleep ... maybe it's his new found crawling skills, apparently new developmental leaps can affect their sleep. Maybe he'll settle down when the novelty has worn off! No crawling here yet, she's still just obsessed with standing! Lean her up against the sofa adn she's happy for ages! 2 top teeth now as well as the two bottom ones - haven't got used to her new toothy grin yet!

Rainbow - Aww, you sound shattered. Everyone else's pregnancies seem to fly by, but I have to say, yours does seem to have dragged on a bit! I think it was because you had that scare a couple of weeks back and I thought you would deliver early. Are you still getting the pains and using the tens machine or is it business as usual now?

Ok, think that's everyone... hope I've not missed anyone out... Better remove DD from the telly

greedygreedyguzzler · 13/03/2008 16:33

im on the pill fettle! but i do take two packs in a row cos i get funny pains down the backs of my leg so i was advised to, so i guess i do still have a long cycle! im having a bit of a contraception dilema at the moment actually!!!! im 35 this year so dr wants me to come off the pill, and i really dont fancy a coil cos i am sure my pains down my legs are cervix related and i think a coil would make my pains worse. so that leaves what? condoms or snipping or withdrawal!!!!! what else is there? dont like the thought of any of them!

maybe another baby would be quite nice though...................i met a woman on monday who had a 6 yr old, 4 yr old twins a 3 yr old and a 4month old!!! so she had 5 kids! and i have to admit i was REALLY jealous!!!!! i quite fancy having a little brood of kids folowing me around!!! definately no more at the moment though, not fair on my sister (or my dh!)

rainbow - i am SO excited that you could pop any minute!!!! anymore contractions from your irritable uterus? are your other two getting excited?

had a strange afternoon at work. i am really missing marcy today, she has been such a superstar lately and she is just the cuddliest baby in the world with lovely hot cheeks at the moment (not so lovely for her i guess!!!)..........

kiki told me i had a 'funny bottom' earlier!!! thanks kiki!!!! she calls her front bits her 'bottom' too and she was actually refering to my front bits rather than my bum!!!............she was staring at me getting dressed and then said i had a 'funny bottom cos it was all fuzzy!'.............i DID try to tell her that all grown up ladies have 'fuzzy' bits, but i guess as she has only ever seen my female fuzzy bits she thinks im a bit odd, and her and marcy are normal!

oh well, better go and see my next patient ........................byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee all!!!!!

by the way.........................whatever happened to babymad and pinkb, who PROMISED to post more often!!! as for kitkat............................well!!!

fettleandbabyfettle · 13/03/2008 17:16

Oh Bodders - you are trying to get out of it!! Can't do week of 23rd or first part of following week - latter part I'll have DH with me, but we'll see if we can arrange something.

Greedy - no contraception method appeals to me I have to say (can't take the pill anyway!)- but then I'm still on my prescription off sex anyway, so no worries here!!!

Better go - Toby still very unhappy - got some saline drops from dr to try and get his head clear in the hope it comes out of his nose rather than into his tummy - he things he's filling up on snot and therefore feeding little and often as that is all he can fit in, poor lamb!!

take care all
xxx

greedygreedyguzzler · 13/03/2008 17:34

told you fettle - you have scared her off! and NOW she would rather spend time on other crappy threads about weaning or nappies or making baby clothes or stained glass windows or something than chat to us!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!!???

fettleandbabyfettle · 13/03/2008 17:38

I aint don noffink! But maybe /i shouldn't have told her I'm really a 55 year old man!

xxx

honeyapple · 13/03/2008 19:54

Ha!

No AF here for me BTW- didnt have with others until I stopped BF completely around a year after giving birth. Hoping same thing will happen this time around- HATE AF.

Greedy- my DD loves commenting on my hairy bottom (front not back !!)... since starting school she has picked up the term 'minnie' . And has a large repetoire of dubious playground songs about kissing boys and having sexy legs . Also one about getting her boyfriend to wash the babies bum...

Dex has been a wonderful boy for his mummy and slept the last 3 nts from 11pm to 7am ish. PLEASE LET THIS CONTINUE... I just am so rubbish on broken sleep- and take it out on the other DC- grumpy mummy takes over . Weaning is going well- although weirdly Dex prefers his veg to fruit... brocoli and potato went down a storm today.

Lots of love to everyone- even those that have deserted us ... Greedy- perhaps it is YOU who is to blame... BTW What is your name????? Is friday 11th still a date?

OP posts:
fettleandbabyfettle · 13/03/2008 20:05

Why have you all got sleeping babies and I haven't?! Although he did have those lovely 2 weeks when he slept through before Christmas I suppose!

Just about to go out with some Mum friends - personally would rather be snuggled up under my duvet asleep, but DH thinks it would be good for me to get out and have some fun - he's probably right, or else is trying to make himself feel less guilty that he is going to London for a party on Saturday night and leaving me alone with the DC again!

Honey - Toby much prefers veg to fruit too! Threw up his apple and blueberry over me after lunch and a huge coughing fit today!

I think you're right it is Greedy that's scared everyone off (her name starts with a J!)

DD's not really said very much about front bottoms (although she appears quite fascinated sometimes by hers in the bath - assume that's normal?!), although she did want to know why there was red in my knickers this morning! = wasn't quite sure what to say, so glossed over it - probably should have had a quick introduction to the facts of life, but a) I was shattered and couldn't think fast enough and b) she's still only 3 and it would no doubt start far more questions I just couldn't handle at the moment in my frame of mind!

Right - Toby's calpoled up, salined up his nose, cot mattress raised, has a vapouriser in his room, ate all his supper, done 2 poos today and had a good boob feed before bed, so please please at least let him sleep until I get home this eve - table's not booked til 8.30pm so it might be a late one!

Speak soon
xxx

Chooster · 13/03/2008 20:18

No Af here either!!!! I've never had bad ones but still am pretty pleased that its staying away . I've still got my un-opened packe of pills from the doctor as I just haven't got round to starting it, although am now considering a coil - you have one dont you bodders?? Is it still Ok?

PMSL at Fettle scaring poor bodders - You just wait Greedy, Honey will start the excuses soon . Shame on you bodders for looking at other threads before coming to see us!!! I have to admit I have a scoot around too, but at least I see my pals here first . Is it just me or does anyone else look at the relationship section to check out some of the things that go on - I know its wrong to read about other peoples misfortune for my own odd entertainment but it is like the 'real life drama' pages on some of these magazines . I am quite at some of it!!! Makes me realise how great my DH is - although he has been a spectacular arsehole tonight though . After battling to get DS2 to bed (will come to that in a mo) I went into Ds1 room where he and DH were chatting and we all had a good chat for a while. Then DH asked me the time and when I told him he shouted at me that he should have been out the house 10 mins before . Like thats my fault - how?????? His shouting pissed me off so I told him he should have looked at his watch. Anyway he storms off and then once DS1 was tucked in I called him to make sure he had evyerthing he needed and he hung up on me!!! I was going to send him a snotty text (because I hvae to admit I can be a bit petty and dont let things lie) but decidced against it...

Phew, I feel better now I've said all that!!!

Oooh, fettle - Theo is exactly the same as Toby at the mo, but without the cold. I'm really hoping its his teeth too as he is just not settling at all well. Last night he was up from 8.30pm to 11pm and it took ages to get him back to sleep. Then tonight he was really grumbling before I finally got him off. He's already stirred but am so hoping for a good night tonight. The last few nights he's been waking loads and am really hoping this isn't a new pattern. He's also not feeding well either and seems to have gone off his milk. Actually I was going to ask you.... He feeds well in the evening before bed then usually once in the night then he has an OK feed first thing in the morning. But during the day I feel lke I'm persuading to have it as he keeps pullign away? How much milk should a 8 month old have????? He eats well and takes water from a cup so am not too worries about his fluid intake.

Honey - at the playgound songs about sexy legs - where do these things come from???? How old is DD again? Is she 5??

Fettle - Hope Toby perks up soon - poor wee fella filling up on snot!

Rainbowy - Gosh not long to go!!!! How are you other DC now you are home? I bet they love having their Mum back . I have to agree with Bodkin that it seems you've been pregnant for ages!!! - Bet it feels longer for you mind you!.

Iamamummy - Yippeee for Oscar sleeping!!! Well done fella . Perhaps he was send some tips to some of the other thread babies .

Seaside - Cassius is VERY cute!!!!! Enjoy your big London trip!!

Hey Firsty - you sound busy!! Hope things settle down again soon .

Right, better go x

Chooster · 13/03/2008 20:24

Crossed with you fettle - enjoy your night out!!! It sounds like all the boxes are ticked for Toby to have a good night sleep - fingers crossed!

Thanks also for your comments on bumpers - we were at ikea yesterday and I saw a really good cheap one there. Its really long and goes all round the cot but its quite shallow so should just be enough to protect his head but not stop the air circulation. I've made sure I tied it really tight and there are no loose bit of material so hopefully it will all be fine... Thanks!

Bodkin · 14/03/2008 12:17

Yes, Chooster you have made me feel very that I don't come here first before I go mooching around the weaning/BF/sleep threads...

Sorry to hear about these pesky babies (well, Theo and Toby) playing up... but it's quite reassuring that Isla is not the only one keeping up her mummy with her nightime shennanigans... I had an email from a friend the other day who said her DS's sleep got loads better at 10 months.... so am now hanging on to that as my next goalpost... they do seem to keep moving though

Get a coil Greedy!!!! They're fab... erm, well, I don't know what they're like once you get your periods back as mine is still on holiday, but so far, apart from about 2 weeks "settling in" (heavier CM and the odd very mild cramp) I wouldn't know any different. In fact, i sometimes panic that it's not going to work it is so unnoticeable! If you get a mirena one (with hormone in it) your periods sometimes disappear altogether. Anyway, you could give it a whirl - if it doesn't work out, get it whipped out. it took about 1.5 mins to get mine fitted!
On the other hand - have more babies - you make it look so easy!

Chooster - aww, that was mean of your DH, hanging up on you. But I think it is the sleep deprivation making you snip at each other like that - you both sound like pretty reasonalbe types most of the time. I take everything out on DH when i'm knackered. Luckily he is pretty good at soaking it up these days.... and I always apologise when I know I've been crabby.

Took Nelly to ballet classes last night to see if she wanted to do them... I thought she'd sit on the side watching shyly (I would have done as a kid) but I couldn't keep her off the floor - she joined in really well and followed what they were doing better than some of the 7/8 year olds there. After about 30 mins she lost concentration a bit, but I was sooooo proud of her (even though she was not in the least bit graceful - her plies [dunno how you spell it] were hysterical Off to have a look through the Next catalogue now to get her a costume and shoes

Fettle - I'll e-mail you - i've had a thought about w/c 7th april... there is a day I can do
