@ZeppyLoo congrats and welcome!

Theowlwhowasafraid · 26/08/2022 11:30

I just did a weeks indicator and got a 3+ 🥹 wondering if my dates are slightly out and I ovulated really early? I’m sure I got it around 5 weeks with my daughter but I can’t remember

Flowersflowers121 · 26/08/2022 11:56

Ahhh, congrats everyone!! :)

Omg that spoon thing sounds gross hahaha my husband always manages to put cutlery like that away without realising, it's so annoying hahah

Hey, I wasn’t sure which thread to join. BFP on 20th, pretty sure conceived on 5th/6th. Last period was 26th July for three days (cycles range from 23- 27 days). Think I’m due between 29th April - 2nd may. Boobs are super sore, really tired and I’ve turned into a right grump, feeling very irritated by everyone!
Congratulations all x

Congratulations! I'm almost identical to you with all of your dates so I'm also confused by due date! Some apps/sites are saying 1st/2nd May, others 29/30th April so who knows. Positive about your symptoms too. My husband was really getting on my nerves this week but I suppose it was maybe me more than him with hormones changing! 😂

86Ash · 26/08/2022 14:03

Hope everyone's well and remembering to take their daily vitamins!

Also, I highly recommend the app 'Pregnancy+' to track your journey. If gives loads of info and shows really detailed pics of what stage baba's are at and actual size etc. Quite exciting once it hits the dinosaur looking stage (from the cluster of cells stage) then onto looking like an actual baby! 😊

Summerwaves8 · 26/08/2022 14:18

@86Ash ooo it’ll be interesting to find out our due dates at the 12 week scan! Yep it’s definitely my hormones, I’m embarrassed of how moody I am 😂

Yeh I saw I’m at the baby lizard stage on my app 😂

isitaline97 · 26/08/2022 16:43

@Flowersflowers121 it was GROSS 😅

@86Ash ooh I might take a look at that, I've been using Flo for years to track my periods and that has a pregnancy mode which sounds similar, but you can't have too much info I guess 😂

KeziaHatto · 27/08/2022 10:33

Not many symptoms apart from light-headedness and early waking every morning. Also considering a early scan at 7/8 weeks too. Seeing parents this weekend but think I will delay telling as we are still under 5 weeks.

Sunshine0987 · 27/08/2022 11:06

Hi everyone, congratulations on your BFPs!

I got my BFP two days ago and think I'm now just over 4 weeks. The main giveaway for me was that my nipples got really sore without the usual PMS general boob soreness! This is our first so I'm excited and nervous in equal measure right now 😅

Other than that, generally feeling fine at the moment. Some slight aches in my back and occasional lightheadedness.

We haven't told anyone yet, still trying to decide when to tell our parents. They don't live near us so we won't be seeing them for a while. Originally I thought I'd be desperate to tell everyone but now I feel like it's mine and my husband's wonderful little secret so happy to keep it between us for the time being I think 😊

Sunshine0987 · 27/08/2022 11:07

@KeziaHatto I know what you mean about telling people before 5 weeks - it still feels so early! I'm also considering an early scan because I can't believe how long it'll be before the 12 week scan!

Abymol · 27/08/2022 12:00

I’m so scared right now. I have some symptoms and Lee getting wee pains in my stomach. I don’t feel pregnant though. I was so sick with the last two. I think it’s partially to do with a lot of bereavement in my house at the moment and my brains putting it onto the pregnancy. For £50 I’m thinking of getting an early scan at 8 weeks so
i know one way or another. I’ve had no bleeding and sore boobs so I’m probably being paranoid

Charl881 · 27/08/2022 12:47

@Abymol Hope you’re ok, first trimester anxiety is rubbish. Cramps are a very normal symptom and don’t mean that anything is wrong, nor does lack of sickness. I definitely recommend an early scan to help with anxiety but I know it doesn’t help everyone. For me it just breaks down the wait for 12 weeks

Abymol · 27/08/2022 13:00

@Charl881 thank you. I’m thinking an early scan would be good. My dad is so excited about this baby even though he knows he won’t be here to meet bump or hold them. I’d love to be able to show him the scan photo. I don’t know if he’ll be here for my 12 week scan either so it’ll be worth it for that.

hulahoopqueen · 27/08/2022 13:45

Hi everyone 👋🏻 congratulations to you all, nervous but excited to be joining this thread!
BFP on Thursday afternoon and still feels like it's not real.
Currently 2+6, thanks to a super early ovulation, and guesstimating due date to be mid-may

bossgirl94 · 28/08/2022 07:43

Hi everyone, I got my BFP yesterday I'm not sure when it would be due as I haven't had a period since I came off my implant.

Ovulated around August 18 so I'm basing everything on that 😬

OneDay86 · 28/08/2022 08:57

Hello everyone! Hope you don’t mind me joining. Congratulations on everyone’s BFPs ❤️

I tested positive on Thursday morning at 15dpo - due 2nd of May. After testing negative at 9dpo thought I was out this month but then my period never turned up! We’re really happy but also very nervous. I’m 36 and we’ve been trying for our first for just over 2 years now and I also had a mc a year ago. My lines are progressing but I haven’t really had any symptoms. Apart from feeling tired and some mild cramping, I don’t feel pregnant at all - no sore boobs or nausea. I’m 4+3 today… is anyone else experiencing the same? Just a little bit anxious 😥

sunshine1987 · 28/08/2022 10:05

@OneDay86 congratulations, please don’t worry about the lack of symptoms, I’m the same and same due date as you. I was exactly the same with my first baby too, never really felt pregnant but he’s now 3! So please try not to panic xx

sunshine1987 · 28/08/2022 10:05

Sorry meant to say same due date and no symptoms either

Owl86 · 28/08/2022 11:00

Hi everyone, congratulations to you all!

I'm 35 and got my BFP on Tuesday at 11DPO (first baby). We were due to start fertility treatment this weekend, having been TTC for 20 months - so the positive test completely knocked me off my perch! I'm about 4+1 today, which would make me due around 6th May.

Mainly just feeling very shocked and very anxious right now. The only obvious symptom I've had so far is period-like cramps on and off over the last 24 hours . Keep running to the toilet to check my knickers (period was due yesterday), but no sign of any bleeding so I'm hoping everything's OK.

I'm also struggling to sleep, and my appetite/eating has been a bit funny these last few days, but I reckon that's the anxiety more than anything else!

Wishing all of you the very best. 😊

Charl881 · 28/08/2022 12:08

My nausea has seriously kicked in today… just in time for my holiday tomorrow 😫 Just need to get through the flight then think I’ll be ok.

AmericanGirl915 · 28/08/2022 12:11

Hi all, hope you don’t mind me joining!

TTC #1 Cycle #1… received positive FRERs yesterday morning and this morning (~11/12dpo). Bit shocked as you can imagine (we’re in our 30s and I just came off Cerazette in July). Very nervous as it’s such early days…period estimated to arrive tomorrow so keeping fingers and toes crossed it sticks and the lines keep progressing!

Overall not many symptoms aside from two strong ones: extreme fatigue and oddly very warm hands (usually have ice cold hands all the time lol).

Hope you all are doing well and have a healthy pregnancy ahead! X

ZeppyLoo · 28/08/2022 14:56

Done another test today and it was a much quicker and stronger positive! Feeling excited now. This will be baby number 2 for me- I have a 2.5 year old. I suspect there will be a lot less time relaxing and enjoying pregnancy this time with a toddler at home!

arapunzel · 28/08/2022 16:08

Hi and congratulations everyone!

I got my BFP today after 2.5years TTC.
This will be baby 2 for us, and estimated due date is 7th May, only a few days after my DD’s 5th birthday. Planning an elective caesarean so may even end up sharing a birthday!

rubygiz · 28/08/2022 17:12
