@Charl881 I think once I feel the pregnancy is "safe" (whatever that means!) I think I'll allow myself some tea and coffee again. I used to have such a diet coke problem when I used to work nights, and in this heat it's soooo hard not to just nip down the shop!

I woke up this morning had a wee and now I'm burning down below, urine also very cloudy. I'm guessing I have a UTI, used to suffer a LOT when I was younger but haven't had one for years! I'm now chugging cranberry juice and water but am I best to ring the doctors at 8 for abx? I am 5 weeks pregnant today and it's a bit scary reading about the damage both abx and having a UTI can be in pregnancy!!! What's the right thing to do? Wait and see if I can flush it out myself or just ring the doctors?

Hmmm I think it's worth giving them a ring this morning, for sure. Worst case they'll tell you to try and flush it out yourself which you've already started :) hope it clears up for you soon!

@Leanne053 I would ring the dr and even get a prescription - you don't need to pick it up but then if things get worse you have the prescription ready just in case.

Thank you for replying, yeah I rang and they've offered me a F2F appointment 😊 like you say if I've got the tablets I can start later this week if it doesn't clear up. Seems regardless what you google if you put pregnancy in front of it it suddenly becomes a bit scary, no point risking anything. Like I said I used to get UTI alll the time when I was younger to point I was referred to hospital and then they just stopped I really hope this isn't going to become a issue again now I'm pregnant!

Hi all, joining the thread as I’m due around 1st May! Hope everyone is doing well. I’m around 5 weeks and the cramping is quite bad! No bleeding though so trying not to worry. Also I am just so so tired!

Hiii! I'm so tired and cramping today toooo, also no bleeding yet so hoping it doesn't come or start and is just normal pregnancy cramps (4 weeks today).

Midwife called and booked me in for sept 19th, so just a waiting game now I guess!

@Flowersflowers121 how long did it take for the midwife to get in touch? Just wondering roughly when I can expect my first appointment

I called them to register on Friday and they called at lunch today :)

@Leanne053 booking in appointment is usually around eight weeks x

Hi girls, joining in here 🙂 got my positive on Sunday but feeling very wary. I had a chemical pregnancy last month (bled from 26th-28th July after getting my first positive on 24th). Feeling slightly confused as we dtd on 6th aug and then 11th & 14th aug (I wasn't feeling more than this given the circumstances). The first 2 dates I'd logged watery discharge on my app so could have been ovulating either of these days as I wasn't tracking. Not sure whether to count the bleeding I'd had as the 'first day of last period' so slightly unsure about how far along I am. Done a digital today and it's showing 1-2 weeks and would have expected 2-3 if going by the 6th as conception date (12 days after my first bleed). So feeling slightly confused, nervous, pessimistic... these first few weeks are always the longest!

Hi all. Can I join too? Got a negative FRER on Sat but faint positive FRER when I tested this afternoon. Did a clear blue which came back as 'pregnant'. AF due today/tomorrow. I'm 33, just got married in June and this was our first month trying so feels too good to be true 🤞🏻

Hi is anyone due Friday! If so what tests I did a test Monday and it was negative but Iv got a strong feeling I am

12DPO today so did another FRER and got my BFP on the digital as well. Nice to see it in writing 🥳 told my mum last night so it's beginning to feel a bit real now.

Im due on Saturday, so testing every day now, got some more FRERs being delivered today so hopefully line is darker.
