@Longbin so happy your dates are aligned and all looks good 🥰

Agree on dates, don't think I'll do a private scan again xx

simplythequest · 22/08/2022 15:25

@Sunnyxo I'm finding mine reasonably mild so far, on average. There are times when I think they must be starting up, only for them to reduce. Except my boots, which hurt pretty much all the time!

Booked a private scan for 8 weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed it goes well. I wonder if the discrepancies in dates could be linked to when the embryo implanted, instead of delayed ovulation... 🤔

Tropicana1 · 22/08/2022 15:28

@chillichillioil no I haven't been offered one, had some risk factors first time around due to an early hospital stay (unrelated to pregnancy) so they gave me a scan at 5-6 weeks to check for viability

Tropicana1 · 22/08/2022 15:30

@chillichillioil ah that's great news that you've got a scan tomorrow! Keep us posted

AliceinSlumberland · 22/08/2022 15:33

Fab news @Longbin

@Sunnyxo someone posted a great post a couple of pages back, really sorry I’ve forgotten who it was but it was about how a lack of symptoms doesn’t mean anything and is also completely normal, definitely worth a read if you can find it as it was really reassuring.

I’ve been a bit worried about some milk pain on my right side, tends to just be when I need a wee and tbh I wouldn’t think anything of it if I wasn’t looking out for it, as it’s really quite mild pain. If it gets any worse I guess I’ll ring EPU as I do worry about ectopic pregnancy but then I’ve heard you can have some pain from tbe side you ovulated on too. Also it’s not like cramping, it almost feels more like gas/wind pain but just on one side, quite low down on my left.

AliceinSlumberland · 22/08/2022 15:35

Okay having had a look on google I think it might be round ligament pain as it’s right on my hip. Hope so!

SavedByGraceAlone · 22/08/2022 15:38

Eeeeek just had some very light pink spotting when wiping - now completely terrified. Am 6+1 today.

I know spotting can happen in early pregnancy, but that is also how my previous 4 miscarriages started... Plus had on and off cramps (shooting, stitching or sometimes dull period-like pain) since yesterday afternoon...

Am now thinking of the worst and managed to convince myself my boobs are not as big as they were yesterday... We have a scan booked for Wednesday at my EPU and were hoping to see a little heartbeat, but starting to lose hope now.

Anyone else here experiencing spotting and cramping at the same time??? Need hope please!

Skylark1990 · 22/08/2022 15:40

@chillichillioil so glad they've got you going in tomorrow, I hope that provides you with the reassurance you need! Let us know how it goes x x

chillichillioil · 22/08/2022 15:43

@SavedByGraceAlone I've had pain the whole way through. Been getting a lot of shooting pains on my left side and constant cramps like period pains, I think it's normal as it's your uterus stretching. If you're worried call EPU I called them today and got in for tomorrow!

@Skylark1990 thanks lovely. Hopefully a second opinion will give me peace of mind xx

SavedByGraceAlone · 22/08/2022 15:51

Thank you @chillichillioil! Same here with cramping been pretty much ongoing, but it's the addition of spotting that got me freaking out! How many weeks are you? Sorry I feel I've asked you this before, but struggling to keep track :)
Hope it goes well tomorrow for you - will you have a scan?

Hannah223344 · 22/08/2022 15:55

Hi everyone - first timer here, 2 positive tests and supposedly due 26 April (4w+5d?) ….. has anyone else had no symptoms at all?? Feeling absolutely fine, but was expecting something by now (nausea etc) which is leading to all sorts of anxiety!

Congratulations everyone!

chillichillioil · 22/08/2022 16:06

@SavedByGraceAlone I've had some spotting too, it's gone now but I think that's normal. When I had my private scan she said she couldn't see any signs of bleeding. Give your EPU a call and they will get you in, hopefully it will give you some reassurance 😊 I'm 6+2 today according to my NHS dates xx

Gilm0reGirl · 22/08/2022 16:10

@AliceinSlumberland ah a day apart! Yes sometimes I don’t feel pregnant at all and other times all I want to do is sleep.

@Sunnyxo lobe the Gilmore girls. I started rewatching it during the day last week, never fails to make me laugh.

@MamaOh thank you! Wishing you luck and congrats too

I had this a lot with my first too, quite sharp at times and was exactly that.

Ah, when was your spotting @chillichillioil?

I've had first spotting at 4 weeks and was very calm thinking it's just implantation bleeding and it stopped after a couple of days. This time, I'm more worried though.

I've got a scan at my EPU (due to history of miscarriage) on Weds morning, we are so desperate to see a heartbeat then.

ballerina90 · 22/08/2022 16:21

Hi Hannah! I think we're due date twins! I'm also 4 + 5 today :) My symptoms have also been super mild! No really queasiness or morning sickness so far. I think it's quite normal for no symptoms this early on. But I totally understand the worry -- my mind can't stop overthinking about everything constantly haha

Congratulations @Hannah223344 on your BFPs! It's totally normal not to have any symptoms so early or even have them fluctuate day-by-day. I think some symptoms could appear from about week 6, but then everyone's pregnancy is different and unique.

Sunnyxo · 22/08/2022 16:42

Thanks @AliceinSlumberland I'll have a scan back to see!

That does sound like round ligament pain is it a dull ache or sharp?

Hope goes away soon for you though and isn't too painful!

@SavedByGraceAlone I had some for about an hour last week, but none since, I think all is okay and that it's pretty commom, hope all goes okay Wednesday! xx

Congratulations @Hannah223344 🥳

@Gilm0reGirl it's so good! Will have to rewatch, did you watch the reboot for it a few years back?

@Hannah223344 congratulations!! I am also due around the same date according to my calculations 😀😀😀 I tested positive yesterday. I started with sensitive/painful nipples about 6 days ago but so far that's my only symptom.

Thanks @MamaOh, indeed I'm on progesterone twice a day. Was on it already for the previous pregnancy, but that ended in a miscarriage sadly, so am not pinning too much hope on progesterone, but it's at least something to do!

Wisher88 · 22/08/2022 18:15

Having a mild stretch pain this eve, not concerned, I assume it's just making room for things.
It's wild how quickly everything happens and then it just gets bigger!

I’m out again ladies. A chemical this time I think but at least fingers crossed no d&c needed.
Best of luck everyone. Hope you enjoy the next few months and have lovely exciting pregnancies x
