@Arwen7 I know, I'm just being daft aren't I! Just too much time to think and worry today. I am super busy next week then on holiday so I hope it will fly in until next scan. Hopefully see a wee heartbeat then.

@IWillBeWaxingAnOwl not daft at all! It's such a worrying and uncertain time those early weeks! Yes keeping busy helped me too as time goes by quicker. Hope it's all good this time for you x

I miscarried my pregancy at the end of last month. I was 5 weeks so very early days.

We decided that we didn't want to wait to try again and have been fortunate enough to fall pregant this cycle! It's only been 4 weeks since the miscarriage bleeding started so it's all happened rather quickly!

I'm obviously super excited but also incredibly nervous.

Hi all, hope everyone is ok?
I got my BFP last week, 5 weeks today. Baby #2 hopefully after the late loss at 18weeks of my little girl in Jan and a chemical in July when we started trying again. Feeling extremely nervous being pregnant again! Consultant has said she wants me to have an early scan at 7/8weeks and NIPT at the same time, the thought of which makes me even more nervous.

@HoneyPea That must have been incredibly difficult 💔 It's completely understandable that your anxious now. Try to be positive about the scan (I know it's easier said than done). Just a couple of weeks from now you'll (hopefully) see a wriggly little bean and flickering heartbeat 💗

I'm not sure exactly on dates. If I put my miscarriage bleeding as the first day of last period, it says 1/6/23 but I don't think I ovulated until CD21 (I can't be sure as BBT temps were all over the place after the loss) so that changes the DD to 7/6.

@B1993 It was so hard and I'm so anxious it will happen again. I keep looking at my baby girls ashes and memory box and just feel like I can't let myself get excited about everything yet. I have heard that you are more fertile for about 3months after a miscarriage and more likely to carry to term apparently so 🤞🏻

@HoneyPea I also heard that you are unlikely to miscarry a second time in row. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case for me and I've started bleeding again 😭😭💔

@B1993 Oh no 😢 I won't say the usual it could just be implanting bleeding or lots of people have some blood in early pregnancy. How do you feel about it? I was pretty sure it was all over with my chemical pretty much as soon as I started spotting, I just had a feeling 😞 I'm really hoping it's not over for you x

@B1993 I really hope this is not a miscarriage for you. Are you far enough along that EPU will scan or is it an excruciating watch and wait ? Crossing my fingers x

@HoneyPea Even when I knew I was miscarrying with my last pregnancy I still wanted to believe it wasn't true. It took a good few days for me to finally, fully accept what was happening even though I knew it was, if that makes sense.

I have so much hope that it isn't happening again but I know there was too much blood for it not to be.I've had consistent spotting since, every time I wipe which has been light pink. Plus I've had a bit of cramping too so I'm certain it's another miscarriage.

@IWillBeWaxingAnOwl Im only just over 4 weeks so it's just waiting for it to hurry up and finish at this point.

I'm uttterly heartbroken and not sure how I'm going to cope mentally going through this again. 💔💔😭😭😭

I've woken this morning with no blood in my liner or when I wiped... I know miscarriage bleeding/spotting can be intermittent (it was the last time for me and went 5 days from
my initial brown spotting before I got more) so I'm still super anxious. I really want to stay postive but as soon as I saw the blood my head instantly went to worse case scenario.

I did remember that I used a thrush peasary treatment Thurs night though, which can cause vaginal bleeding as a listed side effect. I might be clutching at straws and I don't want to get my hopes up, but I'm praying to the pregnancy Gods that that's the explanation.

I've decided to pop into the pharmacy at some point today as ask about the likihood of that causing bleeding two days after use since my EPAU and GP are both closed.

@HoneyPea Are you feeling ok with it still being early days for you?

@B1993 I don't know whether clutching at straws helps at all, but I had about two weeks of bleeding in the early days. Some light pink, some heavier. Was convinced it was all over - but two months later was still testing positive. Am now 38 weeks. So maybe all is not lost. Again, keeping fingers crossed for you, and take care of yourself.

@barneymcgroo Thank you! It's reassuring to know that bleeding doesn't always mean the worse!

I want to wait a few days before testing again as I'm not sure how much it's actually going to help at this stage, but, want to test on Wednesday if I make it that far without anymore bleeding. I'll make sure to update then (if not before)! X

@B1993 I also had bleeding for seven days at five weeks and was convinced it was a miscarriage. I'm now 32 weeks. It's so hard but you just don't know the outcome so we'll all be thinking of you c

Has anyone been told they have a chunky placenta? I had my gender scan the other night and she said it was chunky but placentas can be all shapes and sizes but it did look huge! Naturally I'm overthinking it 🤦🏽‍♀️

Naturally I caved and tested with a cheap strip test and it looks darker than yesterday evenings! I'm beginning to feel a bit hopeful so I hope the rugs not pulled under from me on a few days time!

@B1993 it could be lots of things my doctor said mine was probs to left over blood from last period which sounds weird but it just have been! Good luck x

@Hopingforarainbow27 never heard that before what a weird thing to say 🤔 I'm sure if it was concerning they would have said something. Like u say there all different x

@B1993 I hope you get some answers soon, sounds good that your line is darker than ever. It's the worst thing when you're just sitting and waiting, and going from despair to hope and back again every day. Thinking of you ❤️

So I had my 32 week growth scan this morning and baby is weighing 3lb14oz but consult is worried as he's gone from 50th centile to 30 something he's booked another scan for 2 weeks time to keep and eye on things. Is anyone else had similar? DP is worried but I'm not myself.

@arianasky Almost identical. 50th at 28 weeks, 30th or 35th at 34. Had two week wait til another scan at 36 weeks - still 35th, so they're happy. My two boys were similar percentile at birth, so not too worrying.
