Sassy144 · 26/08/2022 10:47

@arianasky ooh Weetabix I'll try that thank you! Good luck with your growth scan ❤️

arianasky · 26/08/2022 16:43

@Skl2021 well he's measuring bang on at the moment which is brill so hopefully stays that way 😂

barneymcgroo · 26/08/2022 19:01

@arianasky what a relief!

Skl2021 · 26/08/2022 19:14

@arianasky lovely news u can breathe 🙊 how far are you now? I have another on Tuesday desperate to get off that 3rd centile 🤦 x

arianasky · 26/08/2022 21:39

@barneymcgroo definitely 💕

@Skl2021 I'm good thanks feel like I've really popped this week, starting Tuesday get breathless a lot and just feel very big but apart from that all good thank you, you? Ah I hope so do you feel like he's grown? 💕

OP posts:
Skl2021 · 26/08/2022 21:47

@arianasky ohh the breathlessness 🙈 that is constantly me! I'm always having to sit down or lie down 🙊 aww lovely when you pop and it's a proper bump 😍 I can't really tell if he's grown 🤦 I feel huge but I'm probably not! Can't tell what position he's in either so he must still have alot of room x

barneymcgroo · 26/08/2022 22:28

@Skl2021 I think mine is every which way up. Keep thinking I've worked it out, then I get a weird kick in an odd spot and I've no idea again.
I've got a scan on Monday - 34 weeks (can't quite believe it!). If it's the right way up, I'll start on the exercise ball in earnest. I worry that if it's the wrong way up, all I'm doing is ramming it's pelvis into mine (yes Ds1, I'm looking at you! Surgeon said he was tricky to extract...)

Skl2021 · 26/08/2022 23:59

@barneymcgroo haha I feel kicks or movement in all directions so can't tell either 🙈🤣 ouch that sounds painful 🙈🤦 well every growth scan I have had upto now he's in a different position! Last week was breech so we will see of he's back to head down 🤞🙈 x

sunnyd67 · 27/08/2022 07:06

@arianasky I'm glad your scan went well! ❤️
@barneymcgroo good luck for Monday, I hope it goes well 🤞

This is weird 😂 all I can smell is a newborn smell, it's so bizarre, like I haven't been around babies, but I breath in through my nose and all I can smell is newborns as if I was smelling them, like their hair 😂😂

Hopingforarainbow27 · 27/08/2022 20:59

I had my 12 week scan on Wednesday and I'm already so anxious again, literally only get relief for like 2 days then I can't help but start thinking something is going to go wrong 😩 anyone else be like this? Does it get better?

Tulip1112 · 27/08/2022 21:04

Hi everyone! I haven't checked in for sooo long, hope everyone is doing well?! 24 weeks today- cannot believe I have made it to viability week! I still find it so hard to believe I'm going to get to bring a baby home in December!

@sunnyd67 omg I have had the exact same thing!! I weirdly thought it was my boobs that smelt like newborn babies lol!!

sunnyd67 · 27/08/2022 21:04

@Hopingforarainbow27 I am feeling slightly more confident since feeling regular strong movements. I managed to go without a scan for 5 weeks, that was the most I could do...

sunnyd67 · 27/08/2022 21:07

@Tulip1112 congratulations on making it to 24 weeks, a great milestone ❤️ its so weird isn't it, I told my partner today, he thought I was going crazy 😂😂

Hopingforarainbow27 · 27/08/2022 21:21

@sunnyd67 oh I have a wee while to go then before feeling movement! 🙆🏼‍♀️ such a journey! I've had a sore back today low down which I haven't had and worrying. My next scan isn't until 21 sept!

Prayingformyrainbow93 · 28/08/2022 10:41

It does get easier as time passes @Hopingforarainbow27 and definitely like @sunnyd67 says, once you start feeling movements you can take some reassurance there! I didn’t feel movements really until around 19 weeks though and I remember other ladies feeling them much earlier than that so was worried then too 😬 there’s always something! You’ll get there, and not too long to wait for another scan even though it might feel like it, I’m sure it’ll fly! Xx

flowergarden16 · 28/08/2022 12:21

I agree with everyone on here - now I feel baby move all the time I so feel less worried about miscarriage/still birth but it hasn't gone away totally. I'm now worried about having a premature baby but that's a different kettle of fish! X

Skl2021 · 28/08/2022 13:02

I seem to be thinking more about stillbirth the closer I'm getting 😣 just feel like there's always something to worry about. Hate feeling this way and all the joy is just sucked out of it.

On another note has anyone had Pgp in previous pregnancies? X

sunnyd67 · 28/08/2022 17:49

@Skl2021 I'm also struggling with this. I hate these thoughts and try to shake them off quickly. ☹️

sunnyd67 · 28/08/2022 17:53

@Skl2021 I am not sure about PGP, but I keep getting pains in my groin area and very low down in my pelvis, especially at night when I try to get up to go to the toilet, it takes couple of minutes to actually get out of bed as the pain is quite uncomfortable, it also hurts first thing in the morning and fades after couple of hours as I have done more walking

Skl2021 · 28/08/2022 18:16

@sunnyd67 I'm desperately trying not to but can't help myself. If I think baby moves to much or too little my mind goes straight there 😥 I can't wait for it to be over and him to be hear safely as I can't settle. I have never had it either but past few days I'm in alot of pain around my vagina and hips. Only way I can describe it as of everything is stiff and needs cracking 🤦hurts when I walk well waddle 🤣 xx

sunnyd67 · 28/08/2022 18:58

@Skl2021 I feel exactly the same - although it makes me sad that I haven't enjoyed this pregnancy as much as would have if it wasn't for the losses I've been through

barneymcgroo · 29/08/2022 18:30

Hello,

34 week scan today. All looking fine, head down (hooray!) but apparently measuring a bit smaller than they'd like, so another growth scan in 2 weeks. On the 30th percentile, rather than 50th a few weeks ago. I'm slightly inclined to think that it could be the difference between the two sonographers, but I'll definitely go back just to make sure the baby's tracking the same curve. Plus the sonographer today said that it looks normal for me - as in my babies have come out typically just below average size.
Anyone any experience of this?

TTCourfirst · 29/08/2022 18:53

I hope I’m OK to join this thread!

I had a loss at 9 weeks with twins in April of this year
Just got my BFP a couple of days ago so I’m 4 weeks on 2nd Sep

Obviously I’m excited but at the same time 50% of me thinks I’m going to have another loss and I have no idea how I’m going to cope as got a long road ahead (hopefully)

speake1 · 29/08/2022 20:26

@barneymcgroo we had also dropped a centile line at our last growth scan & are back in this week, Friday, to see what is happening. Will report back but also dubious as know how inaccurate scans can be for predicting birth weight xx
